mazar basement grow

Well I've decided to do a grow journal from start to finish. I promise two things, one i will answer any and all questions as best as i can and two i will have a ton of pics. i hope you enjoy.

First off im growing my girls in the basement of a house. i have a temporary set up for now. I am doing a perpetual grow so my flower room consists of mylar plastic hanging from the ceiling (homemade grow tent) my space is 8ft width, 10ft length, 10ft height. My veg room is also temporary and much smaller it is 4ft width, 6ft width, 10ft height. Heres a pic from the outside.

The strain im growing right now is called "mazar" from dutch passion. I bought the seeds in august 2009 from a store called sacred seed downtown toronto (shout out my canadians). I bought a pack of ten. All ten germinated and i ended up with 7 nice females. At this time i was growing in my apartment and did not have anywhere close to the space i have now. So i took about 15 clones off the 7 females , then i took about 40 clones off that 15. And thats where im at right now.

for my flower room i am using two 1000 watt hps lights and one 400 watt hps for a total of 2400watts. in my veg room i am using four fluorecent lights that are approx 400 watt.

these are nuts im feeding my girls.

the first pic is my flower nuts. from advanced nutrients they are powders that i mix with my water. they are carboload, big bud, and bud blood (only used during week 1 of flower) i mix these with power flower from botinicare.( pic 3).

for my veg i use botanicare pure blend pro grow and cal mag.

i am growing in soil (pro-mix) I start my cuttings off in styrofoam cups and after they root i transplant to 1 gallon pots until i am about a week away from flower then i put them in 2 gallon pots. here is a pic of one of my girls in a 1 gallon pot

i am no electrician so i dont know that much about amps and watts. but i do know that if i am running a 1000 watt light on 120 volt i am using about 8.5 amps and if i run that same 1000 watt light on 240volt im only using 4. something amps. so with that being said one of my 1000 watt lights is 120 volt and the other is 240, my 400 watt is also 120. but since i am in a basement i have access to a dryer out let which i believe have a 40 amp breaker. (correct me if im wrong) so i bought this breaker box/ timer that plugs into the dryer outlet and it has four 240 v outlets and four 120 volt outlets. all on timer

ok so now for the good stuff. as i already told you i took about 40 clones for this grow. well its actually 36 they are on day 18 of flower. I started flowering them when they were about 15 inches tall and they are about 24- 27 inches tall now

now for my veg room. i took about 230 clones off of the 36 females in flower right now. I think im going to just grow a couple of mothers from now. i have only been growing weed for about 11 months now and before i got the mazar i bought a pack of bluberry and chocolate chunk. that didnt go so well but i managed to keep one blueberry that i am growing as a mother right now. and i have one chocolate chunk that is in flower with the other 35 mazar's. i didnt labal my pots so i got confused.... so here is the 230 clones with the one blueberry mom

this is a little experiment i did to see how much yield i would get if i flowered a plant at 3-4 inches. (mazar) they are three weeks away from harvest.

I'm already guessing that you should exceed 2+ pounds final yield due to all that space/wattage you got there and 40 cuttings. You seem dedicated so 2+ pounds should be easy! Subscribed.

i have a 10" inline fan connected to a filter. it does wonders for the smell. it cost me about $650 though. I hang it from a support beam in the flower room. i also have a rotating fan blowing over the plants while the lights are on

eldeuce it may look like i know what im doing but this is by far the biggest grow i've done. the most i've yielded at one time is just over a half pound. when i started 11 months ago i was using a 400 watt hps and my girlfriends closet.

if i get over two lbs i will jump for joy. i was getting about 1 oz per plant but ive been doing some research and reading a ton of journals and i think this time i will beat an oz. per plant

i am using carpet under pading on the floor in my flower room. it does a good job soaking up the drainage and spills. But when i water all my plants at the same time the humidity sky rockets. any tips????
