1st plant need help!!

Don't worry too much, I'd just give it a little tug, or push it down toward the stem until it gives way. By the time your plant is done growing you'll barely notice, and that leaf wouldn't be there anyway. If you want to snip it, just snip it as close as you can to the stalk (It should just bend and break off if you wiggle it like a loose tooth though!):weed:

cool sounds good, that leaf turnd it's self back over during its night cycle so its nice and flat again. Does it make much of a diff that i rotate my plant every couple days for even light on all leafs?

K so this is how my baby looks after 4 days under the new lights. Think i can start introducing some nutes? i have a bottle on hand already ready to go. its at 10-15-10 it takes about just over 500 mL to water my plant so like 1 or 2 drops ? and i dont give it nutes every time i water it too right?

I rotate my two plants every so ofen.. they dont seem to mind lol
as for nutes go, if you start now go like 1/2a drop..lmao
id give it couple days still and yeah
when watering it i had mixed my nuted in a 4 L milk jug and was watering every 3 days with
the nutes/water and i noticed the leave starting to curl a little so i flush it right away and now
im doing nute, water, nute, water....
and they seem to be liking that alot more lol

I just spent a minute to read all this and it seems this has turned into a healthy plant so far and looks beautiful. I would say NO to the nutes yet. What kind of soil?(may have over read that already lol) You have Dr Shultz ferts huh? That shit is horrible for nutes on these things, maybe some people have luck with them but I have had problems with nute burn even at 1/4 the suggest feeding. A good way to go is pick up the GH (General Hydroponics) Special trio which are Floragro, Floramicro, and Florabloom.

Those nutes are great for a beginner grower and from what I'm reading this is your first plant correct? As far as rotating I would suggest every 4-5 days rotate it quarter turn and let it go. Watering should only be done when the pot is real light when picked up and you can stick your finger in the pot and pull nothing out but your finger. I water when the soil comes away from the edge of the pot and have had great success with that. My last plant was in a 5 gallon bucket and harvested at right about 4 oz dry weight and I was using GH Flora Trio. As far as growth you might consider adding as many of those 23 and 26 watt cfls in there as possible. For veg you want your color to be 5000k-5500k which can be found on the side of MOST lights. Here is a picture of the light scales and chlorophyll activity (plant growth)

As for keeping it from your parents it is going to stink out your whole house even if it is just 1 plant. Consider a carbon filter now and start saving up for it and as soon as you have the $$ I would suggest getting it. A great treat for your lovely lady is a mist of carbonated water. She will love it. I hope this helps.

well it feels good to know she's looking good and healthy then, carbonated water good call! haha and thats funny u instantly knew it was schultz liquid plant food cuz i didnt say wut brand jus the 10/15/10 but i will defently stay clear from it if you say so. and as for when it smells thats a problems im still gunna have to take care of when the time comes, thx for the great tip on the nutes tho props bud!

Not a problem there bud, I just hope this info helped you in any way. I have a bottle of that Dr Shultz in my garden shed and I use it on my veggies but it has way too high potency for these tender ladies. I am very much looking forward to how this grow turns out so keep us posted and make sure to create a grow journal. You can count on me showing up to cheer you on :D

Yea this is just a learning sesh of what not to do haha. this seed was from a bag of pot that i bought from a good friend with killer bc greens, so it could be somthing good, i wouldn't want to put large amounts of time money and effort and have the same troubles. I think her nickname has become Franknstine tho :P
I need to educate myself on what to do when its time to go into flowing stage tho, i dont know what to add to the soil if i need to at all, i know i need to reduce the light to 12/12 but other then that im flying blind :D

lol im with you going into 12/12 blind bud lmao

im trying to get as much info as possible too, all i know right now is that....
when u put them into 12/12 its going to dbl/trp in size, the smell with stink more,
if theres any light leak at all things dont go right..
and you have to change your fertilizer to a higher middle number and low Nitrogen.
Iv been trying to find out if i HAVE to change my lights... but i really havent had an awnser...
im using CFL's too but do i have to change them for flowering?
what will happen if i dont?

then they can take out two birds with 1 stone.

I suggest you get a couple of those cfls like i did in the beggining, 4-6 40 watter will do the trick if you're lookin to grow cheap, and cfls can be suspended 2 inches from the plant at all times.. much better lights then what you got.. your plant lacks light so i suggest you get them. my 2 cents Peace =] good luck with the grow!

all good bro the more questions are here the more answers and help we can all receive right? I do have 2 cfl's and im already contemplating adding 2 more in there or at least 1 more but im tapped out of space and extension cords, and i think it will raise the temp in there past 80 deg F. to be honest im not to stressed on it considering how much better she's growing, and as for when i go into flowering can i use a tube flouresent light bulb, i have a foot and a half long one on hand that puts out 75 watts. Seems low on watts to me but I am sapposed to make my baby think winters coming soon so is this light change for flowering a good call? Or should i stick with the cfl's and move further from the light?

you need to switch some to a red spectrum bulb and some to stay at 6500k daylight for blue spec.

im goign to be switching 2 out of every 3 bulbs of mine to red spec growlux bulbs. if you dont you wont be happy with yield or quality since the plant is looking for that specific spectrum for flowering energy... problem is that red spec isnt as bright as blue spec.. .witch is why florescents arent the favored son whene it comes to flower... you can fight it by increasing bulbs.

your plant, is it in a 3 gallon pale or 5?

god dam, would be nice if one bulb would do all the work hey :p so im going to have to go to a hydroponic store for a proper flowering light then im assuming? fuck now i jus wanna get more cfl's in there for my baby!
here's how she looks today

i cant help but feel like its way to dry in there, i can jus tell the leafs would love it in there if it was a little more moist in the air. any ideas for a good way to maintain some sort of humidity?

Also I'm thinking its time for a transplant into the final pot, i dont feel like the medium i have it in now is big enough, what i have it in now is probably a 1.5 or 2 gallon pot but the one im moving to is going to deff be enough volume for the roots to grow
