Limbaugh 'n Loving It...?

I'm going to pause my Rush podcast to pose this question? Love to get high and listen to Limbaugh?
I'll admit I listen to Limbaugh from time to time. He's entertaining, and he's not a contrived asshole in the same way Sean Hannity is. He's approaching it from a traditionally conservative viewpoint, but he's much more balanced than many of the other talk radio personalites. Sean Hannity... If I have to hear caller after caller say "you're a great American!" again, I might have to jump off a cliff.

I've never gotten high though and listened to him. Seeing as how he believes pot smokers should be executed and are the scum of the earth, I think it's a bit ironic. But maybe that's the point. ;-)

Biggest loudmouth asshole hypocrite on the planet, spews kill drug dealers, while strung out on oxycontin, like 50 pills a day. A pure asshole in every respect. If you look in the dictionary under asshole, a picture of Limbaugh pops up.

Limbaugh wants to "kill" drug dealers or pot smokers???^^^
Hmmmmm....nope, I don't think so!
I disagree strenuously with Limbaugh’s stance on drugs and a few other issues....
But he is a consummate entertainer and quite enjoyable to listen to when ripped.
I am a talk radio junkie....been listening since the mid 1960s----Barry Farber, Jean Shepard, Bob Grant, Long John Nebel ....

Limbaugh is one of the most talented talk meisters I have ever heard.

I largely agree with Ethno regarding Hannity----he is a bit of a twit and basic douchebag....I do not listen to him often!!!

My all time favorite hosts:

Jean Shepard
Art Bell
David Gold
Neil Rogers
Phil Hendrie
Rick and Suds
Mark Levin

Med, if you even had the smallest clue about which you are speaking, you would know that the list is NOT all right wing hosts....you will never cease to amaze me with your profound ignorance on almost all subjects!

Wavels, you'd be surprised at how much work goes into being this ignorant. I work at it every single day, What is your excuse?

Wavels ...

Mark Levin is a gas to listen to. I try to tune in every night. I long for the day that Med & GrowRebel calls into his show. :hump:

I also agree that Sean Hannity is a turn off. He's a pompous ass who continually interupts really good guests, right in the middle of their dialogues because "its all about him."

Rush is the master of all conservative radio talk shows. The proof is in the way the very mention of his name drives liberals, socialists and communists to go ballistic. See Med's post above.

Vi, I am glad to see that you have Mark Levin in your market....here is a guy with a terrible voice for radio, and yet, extraordinarily entertaining.

He is a constitutional lawyer , have you read his book Men in Black??
Amazon.com: Men in Black: How the Supreme Court Is Destroying America: Books: Mark Levin

Or his heartrending tale of his love for his dog???
Amazon.com: Rescuing Sprite: A Dog Lover's Story of Joy and Anguish: Books: Mark R. Levin
Book Description
Although Mark Levin is known as a constitutional lawyer and a nationally syndicated broadcaster, he is, first and foremost, a dog lover. In 1998, he and his family welcomed a half-Border Collie/half-Cocker Spaniel they named Pepsi into their lives. Six years later, his wife and son persuaded him to adopt a dog from the local shelter, a Spaniel mix. It turned out he was older than originally thought, and he was the most beautiful dog they'd ever seen. They named him Sprite. Their lives would never be the same.
Sprite and Pepsi became fast friends. They did everything together, from rummaging through the trash to loudly greeting the deliveryman. And the Levin family fell in love with him -- with his gentle nature, beautiful face and soft, huggable fur. But on Halloween night, shortly after joining their family, Sprite suddenly collapsed and was rushed to the animal hospital. It was the first of many such visits, and the start of a long journey for the Levin family, filled with much joy and anguish.
During the next two years, Sprite and Pepsi were inseparable. And Sprite's bond with the Levin family deepened. Friends, neighbors, and even Mark's radio audience came to know and love Sprite. As Mark's daughter turned eighteen and graduated from high school and Mark's son turned fifteen, Sprite's health deteriorated -- even as his spirits remained high and his beauty and grace continued to inspire. Comfort came from family, fans, and friends, and between Thanksgiving and Christmas 2006, the Levin family said their emotional final goodbye. Crushed and consumed with grief, Mark turned to family, friends, and fans for help.

Everyone should read this book:mrgreen:

Wavels, if most of the right wing lunatics had as much love for their fellow man as their dogs, this would be a wonderful country. They will spend thousands on medical for their dogs and deny medical treatment to poor children, What's up with that?

Hi med…your assumption that right wingers do not care as much about "their fellow man" is deeply flawed.
Simply because you perceive right wing policies as being purposely damaging to the underprivileged, does not make it true.
I know that it is quite easy for you to make these erroneous assumptions.
You seemingly have little faith in the ability of human beings to achieve self sufficiency without the help of some Government “program”.
I, on the other hand, believe in freedom.
Intentions and actual results are two very different things!
"Liberal" intentions brought us the welfare system, as well as many other abject failures!

The reason I compiled a list of favorite talk hosts was to provide context. I base my listening choices upon the entertainment value provided, not politics.
One of the most talented hosts I ever heard is Neil Rogers…..fantastically entertaining and very funny….he is waaaay over on the left side of political ideology…..Air America should have hired this guy, because he is a great entertainer!! He could have made them some money!

The Neil Rogers Show
med, I think you would like this guy:joint:

Based on your recommendation Wavels, I got Mark Levins "Men in Black". Looks to be a great read! The more these loons attack, the more credibility you garner.

I always get pissed when I listen to him. He makes such great points and its so frustrating when I hear what these politicians (especially Dems and RINOs) are trying to do, I can't smoke. Ruins my mood. Haha.

What a sick mind you have. I sincerely hope you never get in a position of any great influence. When I get high, i can't stand to listen to any politicians, left or right, they all seem like professional liars. BTW are you addicted to oxycontin as well?

i just recently found mark levin. i heard his rant on how big government was slowly moving toward one world governent and what a scam global warming was and several other subjects that were very funny. i thought i had found a new good show.

then i heard him go off on ron paul supporters. i didn't even hear him say one thing critical about his policies. he was just insulting the man line after line. i really dont even know what he had against him. he does that with anyone who doesn't agree with him exactly.

i dont care who he blasts but i do think he's pretty rude to his callers.

he's a little tough to figure out. he says he wants small government and conservatism. why not like ron paul? he says hell no to the new world order but loves this fucking president. ???
