okay so i moved to this new town, been looking for a dealer and low and behold there is one 2 houses down. i know hes a dealer, has to be, has all sorts of random ppl over at it house, never there for long, all times of the day and night, you know how it is when your a dealer. so how do i approach him? hes never outside, has 3 great pitbulls in his yard though, real friendly as long as your not a pussy, lol. should i just go up and knock and be like "hey man i just moved in across the street and wanted to meet my neighbors and btw nice pitbulls. so do you smoke herb?" What should i do?

Yeah that sounds like a good start, maybe go kind of get a feel for him, see if you notice like a high times sitting on the coffee table or something. I think just a name exchange and a hand shake or something is enough for the first time, so it might take a few more visits after that before you throw out the "oh do you slang?" question.. lol.

Or just mention how you smoke, been looking for a connect in the area because you're new, but don't ask if he knows anyone or if he grows, when he feels comfortable he'll tell you if he does or not.

Sure, why not? People meet their neighbors all the time. But I wouldn't hint at anything pot related the first time you meet him. I'd tell him you just moved to the area and "do you know any good bars?" "where are some good restaurants?" That way, the third or so time you chat with him, it will not seem weird when you ask "Hey, do you know where I can get some bud?"

dude i had the same exact problem when i moved here... lol but my nieghbor was having alot of traffic so i was like hmm i know hes slangin but what.... then i smelled the familiar skunk like it was a sign i didnt approach him right away... because i knew from my appearance he would be like whos this fucken guy. So i sent my girl to ask him if he had any green for sale and it was a go... i smoke with him almost every day now and get the best prices on weed. I would just go to a cannabis dispinsery but all them are so far away from where i live and so overpriced its not even worth it. But yeah you should send a girl because guys will take the time to at least say yes or no if they do got it!

I'd say put on a tie-dye shirt and go say high. Maybe ask him if there are any disc golf courses around. He might be down, if so then you could go ahead and ask IMO, like "any good greenery in this area?" If he doesn't want to talk much I'd say go to one of those disc golf courses and start talking to people. Around here that is one of the biggest stoner hang out areas. At one place near me I've been to a handful of times there is one kid who is always just chillin on a bench smoking, he doesn't even frolf, just meets people and smokes with them. Just go around mid day or something. You could get lucky.
It's always hard with a neighbor if you're new but another good thing might be to talk to him for a minute, pull out a cigarette and "accidentally" drop a pack of rolling papers with it. See if that sparks anything. Be like "whoops...you know anywhere I can get something to fill these?"
