I wouldn't advise going to work or driving a car if you wish to remain 100% positive you don't need health insurance.

I don't know what type of shitty car insurance you have but mine has medical coverage for occupants in my car.............so it begs the question, do YOU have car insurance if you didn't know about this type of coverage?
Also I don't know what type of shitty job you have but if I get injured while working the company pays for medicals bills associated with it........every place I worked for had this type of policy.
One of my fellow co workers had a heart attack or something similar while working and the employer paid for a pace maker to be put in, covered all the bills and he was a low level cashier who worked like 15 hours a week.

Because if you walk, you might slip and fall down. If you slip and fall down you might crack that thick skull of yours wide open and may need to go to the hospital!!!!! GET IT YET!?!?!?!?!

I bet there are a lot of great drivers out there who think they have no need for auto insurance, but yet they are forced to buy it anyway.
In any case, I don't think my auto insurance policy will cover me if I need an unexpected appendectomy. That type of common thing would basically break me in my current uninsured state. I will gladly be forced into buying insurance or paying a 2% fine if this worry can be removed.
By the way, I totally agree with your message of personal responsibility for your own health and the savings we would reap by less heart disease and other issues directly related to living healthy. We would spend less on health insurance as a nation if we did more to encourage proper exercise and diet. Alas, we are a junk food nation. Sad...

I might as well kill myself for all the possible though not probable bad things that might or might not happen to me. your not even addressing my comments directly, I have the choice to buy insurance with my own money and choose not to but NEVER would I ask someone else to pay for something that only I would benefit from. Driving is a is not a right and you're required (in most states) to have insurance mainly for the other drivers you may crash into. This can be avoided by not driving, unlike health insurance mandates which I can only avoid with death. All children should be insured which pretty much happens anyway or at least the structure exists whether people realize it or not. Preexisting conditions I'm not too familiar with it so I can't comment. my understanding is that insurance companies can charge you more if you have a condition prior to coverage which makes sense. companies exist to make money, morality doesn't make money and frankly it's not their obligation. This may come as a shock to you but I'd rather have a single player system then what is about to pass.

Your understanding is wrong, they will either not accept you if you have a pre-existing condition or anything that has to do with that condition will not be covered.

I heard somewhere a guy had a root canal done years before he was diagnosed with cancer or whatever it was and they denied his coverage because of that "pre-existing condition"... - don't know how true it is or where it came from though... Do you think they do shit like that on a regular basis? Look for any tiny detail to deny someones claim to save the company money to advance their career and look good in the eyes of the higher ups?

Mandated car insurance is a state issue. Income taxes are covered in the 16th Amendment. Sales taxes are a state, county and city issue.
