my water is ph'ed at 6.0 and i am using fox farm oceans forest soil. should it be higher or is this ideal
do you think mayby thats why around week 5 my plants look like they are slightly lacking nitrogen ? I harvest every 6 weeks and try to keep my plant stressing towards the end to turn them purple. so i just thought the yellowing was due to me cutting back the nitrogenin soil, you want a ph of 6.5. check out this chart.
when you switch to flowering nutes, the nitrogen level really drops. after the plant eats up the remaining nitrogen from the medium, it'll begin to display a nitrogen deficiency, as it should. this is normal, and is called yellowing off. some plants really kick out some awesome colors at this stage.do you think mayby thats why around week 5 my plants look like they are slightly lacking nitrogen ? I've heard it suggested (and been doing my first grow) that you continue feeding it a partial mixture of veg nutes to keep nitrogen up through the beginning and middle of floweringwhen you switch to flowering nutes, the nitrogen level really drops. after the plant eats up the remaining nitrogen from the medium, it'll begin to display a nitrogen deficiency, as it should. this is normal, and is called yellowing off. some plants really kick out some awesome colors at this stage.
