Kitty's 6000 Watt Ebb & Flo, pictures galore, continually updated never ending oh no!

Yeah I hear ya on that Kitty. I've been growing one strain for years, it is some of the best pot I've ever smoked but I crave variety. The only problem I have is that I can't grow them all.............................

AT ONCE! Muahahahahahahahahahaha:fire:

Yea I had the same problem with my nutri-dip trimeter but now i only use the ppm and temp meters, and as for the fuckin ph I just use the drops . they work bomb and im really , really fucking stoned off this mendo purple (cough) Oh yea please dont take this the wrong way kitty but you definately did not grow 600-ish clones of OG mutha fuckin KUSH to be able to say that its a low yielding strain. We fuck with OG and get 3lbs per 1000w hps-you must not be doing it right

...two translucent buckets --- trying them out to see if they'll work on two plants since they are translucent. There was a lot of debate if you can use translucent pots to whether the roots would be exposed to light and thus turn green and make the plant explode. We'll see what happens soon! I've always been the type of person if there's controversy surrounding "to do it" or "not to do it", I'll try both to see what works for me.

Happy Saturday. =)

Thank you northeastern lights for showing me how to post photos like this as well. ;)

No doubt Kitty, I'm calling BS. My optimal grows can get a LB per 600 but that's as good as I've ever done indside. I'm making the sitch over to aero so we'll see how that effects my yields.

Oh yeah almost forgot, as we all know withought pictures, it never happend:blsmoke:

3 pounds per 1000?? dreaming away.... not possible. I hope to achieve 4-5 pds off my 2 mh x 2 hps, but will be content with 4 pds. But I still like the fact that the dude is sayin OG kush is a higher yeilder than mentioned, time will tell *rubs his hands together*

one question I forgot... I'm not using my timer board(240) right now, my 120 ballast for my 400 MH I'm using for vegging can't be hooked up to it. My schedule keeps changing and I cant regulate a 18-6 cycle... how does a guy go about watering when the lights are on for 24 hours a day without harming them... also my leaves on just a few of the plants are developing sorta faded spots and look dry and sort of mottled, it's not bugs, not nutrient lock, not light stress as I have the 400 3 feet above them... confused, ph is good, temp is normal, feeding is correct

Research Kitty, if you don't get algea in your translucent containers, you're doing something wrong. There is no controversy in this matter, you WILL get algae! I appreciate that you want to find this out for yourself, but in the spirit of experimentation, maybe you should run the containers without plants in them just to see. You do not want algea in that room! I think you are jeapordizing your crop for nothing. It would be very easy to cross-contaminate other areas of your garden if you're not extremely careful. ABSOLUTELY do not share a resivoir with the rest of the garden when you use those clear containers. Best of yields to ya!

I answered your first 5 mis-appropriated questions in my grow journal. I cant keep helping you out in my grow journal thread. Start a new thread relating to your subject, happy to chime in there. For now this is all about me me me me me me me! Dont take this as mean, I mean it more to just keep you in the habit of asking the 100,0000,000 members here questions at once instead of the lone 4 people who read my thread. :) You'll get better, easier responses and faster!

Thanks for the no-reservoir share tip. I'll do that for sure! I was more thinking about roots turning green and getting confused killing the plant in the long run as opposed to algae. If the buckets arent flooded to the top of the Hydroton as your supposed to, no nutrient water should see the light.

Which makes me wonder a bit. I've upgraded a few of the really crappy black plastic hosing with one of those translucent blue ones and also bought a ton of clear hosing as well. I wonder if the hosing will cause issues or "algae up" as you say as well?

The hosing on an ebb/flo usually has stagnant water that doesnt go all the way to the res between fills.

Maybe this is experiment #2. :)

Research an 'Inline UV'...no more algea but may also kill beneficials, depending on what you feed them.

hey Kitty, sry man Im just new at this( forum stuff) and pretty much dont know what Im doin...my sincere apologies my friend. Im wondering if you know what causes that slight "bubbly" looking effect I noticed on a couple of your plants, the most recent pics, as i have a similar syndrome with a few my young plants. What I mean by bubble is near the center of the leaf blade it looks like there is small bubbles... I'm gonna start a thread for many various issues now lol again sorry its ignorance not rudeness or stupidity. Tapper cool man

Hey Kitty, Impressive grow, nice and clean, looking forward to seeing your space turned into a jungle. I lol’d seeing your tie wrap/ zip tie identification method, I use colored paper clips. Really liked your Weekly weed care/chore/watering chart. Did you make that or is it on the interweb? Now about that Weight vs watts discussion. What about DoubleD’s 10plants=40lbs… They used a ton of Watts though for those Christmas trees.

Im subbed

Stop by my journal say hi!

Great Setup lookng forward to seeing its yeilds.

I have searched for this thread with no avail as it sounds interesting, would you kindly post a link.

No clue what those little blubbles were, might just have been a weird angle. They dont have them any longer. Even the mutant plant started to grow.

Stop by my journal say hi!

Thanks for the compliments. The thingy on the wall is just a 5 minute made excel spreadsheet. You can probably copy it in seconds, there's really no math to it.

As for that other guys 10 plants 40 lbs grow, I dont know, dont care, this is my grow journal not his. You might PM the other guy interested in this magical million pounds a light you guy are chasing. I'm a grower in the real world and represent as such. :) So please keep others grow stuff out of here, unless its specifically some technique to do for a better performing crop or a room upgrade.

ty :)

Yes, in fact i believe that if my room is optimized to the fullest that just makes my plants grow to their full potential, resulting in over 1gram/watt. I use two 600w hps extra wide sun system reflectors. MY nutrients are of my own recipe that I have collaborated over the last 8years.(I dont use anyone recipe but my own-no nute company recipes either) So being as skeptical as you are, as well as unexperienced, its easy to understand why you doubt my capabilities as a master pot grower simply because you , along with most, have not yet reached full revelation on what certain strain require more or less of at a certain time. Why are you so sarcastic when you hear that someone yeilds 3lbs per 1200w? If I were trying to prove anything then I would probably just post grow journal after grow journal in attempt to aquire praises from people like you, but thats not the case here so just keep doubting me when you could have learned something istead of just being a hater cause you know what you think is everything-sadly you know very little otherwise you would smartly be trying to figure out how to increase your own yeaild. Good luck and forgive me for comming on strong.

heres 2 of the 48.5 ounces that i continually harvest with my 2 600's-eat your fucking heart out

Dude, keep your retarded shit out of here please. =P We called you out on 3 Lbs per 1kW of light. Not 3 Lbs for dual 600w lamps. Check your math, learn to read, and please unsubscribe.

Congrats again on 1.13 grams per watt.

who the hell is we? you mean "you" called me out . Dont worry unsuscribed, but remember you are a great person and I congradulate you on your grow so get mad and be a hater

"We" would be the other 3 people who also called BS. :-) Thank you for keeping your grow journal out of mine, though.
