hi all
just been reading all the threads and finally got here!
im having fun with my tents also but the thing what does cause a problem is the hunidity hits 90% when lights go off.
i have 3 tents running different systems aand trying different methods. all my tents are 2.4mx1.2mx 2m high
one of my tents im running has..
2 rvk 200 L1 fans and filter handing from the tent ceiling bars
3 x 600 hps with adjust wing shades
2 x 12' oscillating fans
12 pot ebb flood and drain on a 200 liter water butt on the outside of the tent i'll upload some photos later

I just set up my 3x3x7 Homebox last night. Haven't been able to hang my light yet though, have to run to lowes for hooks.
It was very easy to setup and looks to be very good, I sealed myself inside and it was totally dark, with a MH light going just outside of it.

Do you keep your vent fan on when the lights go off? I keep mine on 24/7 and it wont go over 50% in the dark period.

hi doc d yes i do now but at low speed, ive noticed the temp swing droppin 2 much on a night when its any higher.
ive also put a dehumidifier in one of my tents set at 40% but this only kicks in when lights go off. im not sure if it does any harm to the buds as yet but will post and let u know.....
good to see people using tents and sharing problems and tips keep up the good wrk

its just a 4'' in-line fan but its 130 cfm,it pushes air pretty good.thanks for the welcome everybodynice to see more tent growers aboard welcome john the fan you have will do its an 8" yes they have a good flow of power i have 2 use a fan controller to slow myen down and turn it up when needed for e.g smell

Stiffla,can't wait to see those pics. Hey Gezon. I'm jealous. I was starting to show some of the same signs as you. Lifted my light up. But I can't get the epson salt till tomorrow,been goin without it. And I wanna do the dam bottle. Hopefully my check comes tomorrow. If not I'll get the shit Tue. But I hate waitin. Keep me posted.

??yeah im updating my whole syestem 2 day just had pot on the growned and feed them threw a resivor but the water never ran back into it so im lifting my pots and using a drip/flush syestem so all my water the goes thru the pots goes back into the resivor so i can see and maintain the ppm / ph level better than just watering and hoping for the best i'll upload pics soon when im done the transformation

Right on man. That's a check or two away for me. I want a watering tray but they're like $55 for my tent. Just don't need it right now. To busy gettin the rest of what I need for fans and shit. Plus I gotta invest a little more in my outdoor. Burned all my plants except one being lazy on Fri. Won't do that again. Lol.
ok guys i've improved my tent from all the ideas you guys have with your tents so thank you all with this new setup i can manage my water feeding and ppm / ph levels water temp much more better i now have 4 plants in the tent notice i haven't poted the forth yet as need to get more terra and coco soil my resevour is 900mm x 900mm and 100mm high i have put my pots into custom pots so there 115mm hight from the tray so when i water them the water will drain thru and go back into the resivor so my girls get a good water but drip out so there not over watered water pump on a timer aslo i moved my carbourn air filter into my grow room for better resaults

I'm looking at tents right now, I'm pretty sure I want 2 4x4x6.5 tents, one for veg, one for flower. Going to run a 6" vent system for the lights, and a 4" to cool the tents themselves.
The best price I can find per tent is $125, anybody know of a better price? thanks.

Do research. Some cheap tents are bad for your plants. If you found a 4x4x61/2 for $125 you might not want it. Just make sure. And if one's for flower and one for veg,your veg might not need to be so big. I got a 3x3x6 1/2 for flowering,and I'm gonna get a 3'x18"x6' for veg. How many you plan on flowering at a time?

i got the same size tent on ebay for $99 shipped,its really good quality too.just check out ebay andlook thru them all(theres a shit load)lol
