here's some pics
Dude I love the new areo unit!!!!!!! Looks like the store bought one! How much did it cost to put that unit together?

Everything looks so nice and green!!!:hug:

What is that in the three DWC buckets? I have that same air pump. Does yours get hot?
I also used that same yellow and black tub as my res when i was trying ebb and flow. Do you have the water flowing over the lid into the center hole? If your water temps get to hot you might want to change it to where it drains straight in....just my two cents.

Anyone eles having concerns about rising water temps?? Im thinking about making a DIY water cooler for my res. My temps are getting close to 80!!

2 autos have sexed. 1 girl and 1 boy. hopefully i get another girl. regardless of the 3rd i'll be doing an auto seed run. if i take some pollen and hit one of my regular strains with it what are the chances of them being auto? auto diesel ryder x hash plant sounds good...

seeing how i've never purposly tried to make seeds, how far into flower should she be when i give her the pollen pony? hahahahaha
I was reading something last night that said you should wait untill they are three weeks into flowering. Wait too long and they wont mature and too early you wont have very many. They also said something about males maturing faster than females. I dont know...it was in last months hightimes about breeding

Thats a normal temp for my buckets DF.. Sux, but it is what it is.

I found a post by "fatman" who stated that if your running chem nutes with 8 drops of bleach per gallon, then root rot/disease will not come into effect by high res. temps. So far, he's seems to be right.

Im holding out for now.

I think I read the same thread your talking about. If I'm correct he said to start with 8 drops per gallon then after every 24 to 36 hrs you should add 4 drops per gallon to maintain the effectiveness of the bleach. I believe he said after 24 to 36 hours the bleach will have dissipated enough so that it wont be effective anymore.

I'm just curious if this is what you are doing as well?

I bleach and was unaware of the 24-36 hour effectiveness window. I'll take that into consideration with my bleaching!

i really dont have a heat concern in the res. i pulled the carpet up so the concrete keeps it cool. i cant get a good picture of my sea of green. the claw has grown out and they're forming shitloads of big tops. pretty much everything else got cut. i think the pipe your talkin about df is the pressure manifold. my drains come straight thru the bottom. anyway i've been diggin holes all fuckin day and i'm beat. tomorrow or the next theyre in their new homes 4 life. i'm beat. shower tylenol jack daniels and a joint or 3 people. peace

I dont overdo the bleach thing like that...

My plants droop if I overuse bleach.. Makes em look kinda sick for a day.

I believe it may affect the roots in the wrong way, if you keep adding.

I only give em 8 drops per gallon after i change out the nutes, and leave things alone til I change out again.

Better being safe than sorry.

Honestly, Iam not sure of all the problems that happens with high nute temps,

I think I had too high of humidity if anything.

Only one plant was affected..

Made my leaves turn yellow way before its harvest date. Mold? hmmm.. Overnute? could be. Root rot? Possible.. Im just not sure.

But, When I inspected the roots, they looked normal.. no goo, or browning.

The rest of the crop looked real good.

Anyways, I thought it would be a smart idea to purchase a Hydrofarms dehumidifier..

My RH was like 80+ before..

Now, My flowering room humidity is around 50% with the dehumidifier running..

From what I read, they say its better to have slight humidity when using supplemental Co2.

So, Im pretty sure I got it dialed in Ok.. At least when it comes to my rooms humidity level.

From what I understand root rot can happen when res. temps raise above 79 degree's..

But, like I stated earlier, Fatman says the higher temps will not affect roots while using bleach.

Another good reason to use bleach and chemicals..

If your running organics, your shit outta luck.

I'll send a PM to Jester. He hates ruderalis strains, but he's a smart dude. He loves talking and teaching about breeding your own seed stock. :)
