I noticed alot of you guys talk about EC. Without an EC meter am i severly disadvantaged? Or is it quite possible to make do without it?

If its a BIG help any recomendations on a good Soil based one? Most the ones i see advertised are for hydroponics and im sure the actual soil is what i should test and not just what im going to feed them?

Bunnings has a cheap ph/light/moisture all in one probe for like 10 dollars.

I was feeding my plants about double what they needed before I bought a EC truncheon. Its well worth the money you pay for it.

test water in and test water out, with ph+ec, wright everything down, u will know what your plant is useing at each stage of groth, so next grow u will be reddy to feed more when it needs more

hahahah yes!!!! Sadly i learnt the hardway that those things are a useless pos. They are SOOOOO innacurate. Apparently Vinegar has a ph of 7 :) Water is still considered "dry" and even in full sun there is only a small amount of light.


$45 is ok i guess. You use it for the soil or for the water you feed with?

i got a soil PH test kit...but i think i might just get a pen version of it.

When you say water in and water out. DO you mean test the water before i put it through the soil?....then test the run off?

just water, but if u got say 1L water mixed with handfull of dirt then strained it then tested water it would show if there is a major prob, just made that up what do u think

just test the in water + out water, wright it down, it helps a dumb fuck like me learn , and if u stuff up u have a recorde of what u have done, so u wont do it agan

Speaking of Spider Veins.. Rock u should tell ur Mum to wear concealer on her inner thigh - cover that shit up!
..Hopefully it doesn't taste bad though.. She makes my tongue go all over ;)

Anyone find the temtation to add more and more and more and more........and more nutes to your plants to try speed them up extremly tempting? I know this would kill them but im inpatiant and i want them to already be spewing out frost :(

Also, was wondering if there are particular strains to use for things like hash butter? (more making brownies with) or do you just use any normal strain? Ive never tried brownies and really want to but they just use so much fucking bud.
