ur first is the most fucking frustrating grow you will have but take your time and the pot gods with give you bud (check rocks 1 first grow and his new grow)
as far as hash goes buy or make bubble bags
i did and the best thing i ever got ,you use no buds just trim as its bull shit good
my wife said babe you can have one plant ,i said ok then i tried cloning
15 full size plants later (i had em hid fucking every where ) she cracked it and i had a plant ban
just pick 10 and focus on them
even 10 is a nightmare when ya gotta work and shit

i find cupcakes are best for baking, or with my tries thus far. i found beating the butter before using it really helped with the taste. fudge can be done, but the taste is a little more obvious i found.

making cannabutter is best if you just use the trim as opposed to bud, so all the lovely leaves with crystals on them sitting round the bud for instance are great. just heat butter and ground up trim on a very very low heat for a very long time and then strain with cheesecloth or something similar. gold!

Anyone find the temtation to add more and more and more and more........and more nutes to your plants to try speed them up extremly tempting? I know this would kill them but im inpatiant and i want them to already be spewing out frost

Also, was wondering if there are particular strains to use for things like hash butter? (more making brownies with) or do you just use any normal strain? Ive never tried brownies and really want to but they just use so much fucking bud.

Thats a bad idea without an PH and EC meters. Before you know it, your soil will be loaded to toxic levels with unused nutrients, salt and plant piss. You want to hit levels that are comfortable for the plant. More nutrients does not mean more growth

They didn't have any cheesecloth at spotlight so I ended up using an old "Thomas the tank engine" rashie.

Yer i know that you can kill a plant with kindness but its still tempting to do anything i can to speed the little buggas up ...that said ive managed to refrain from loading them up for now. The first couple attempts i made last year were all "o shit my leaves are yellow ill dose them up with "X""...the next day they died so im well aware of the danagers of being "too kind" to them. Best thing i did was put them as far away from me as possible. That means i need to actually walk over to where i have them which the majority of times proves to be too much work so they are safe from me for now

As for bubble hash, ive heard of it...but im not to sure about it..is it an actual strain or is it a way to process it?

Im going for the traditional hash brownies Ive already arranged with my uni mates that come the next holidays we all doing brownies. Im quite proud of myself actually. Ive managed to get a group of otherwise very smart asian med school kids into weed...mission accomplished

@ skiz the best thing to speed up ur plants is more light do a search on ebay there is currently some very good deals for hps & mh lights ranging between 400w N 1000 watters

EDIT also check Utube out search bubble hash, making hash, cooking with cannabis shit like that

ive killed heaps of plants with kindness
to speed em up
1 hydro
2 more light
3 perfect grow room (temp and rh and air)
4 right lights (blue for veg,red for flower)i use hps most of the time
5 good strains
6 good base nutes and water
& test gear ( this changed me from cant grow to can grow a little)

Damn Jimmy why does everything need to cost money!!!! Wont be able to get a HPS for at least 4 weeks. Im thinking that gives my White rhino 5 weeks veg under fluero (i wish i could get a MH but no money at the moment) then i get my HPS JUST in time for flower

Yer i looked up bubblehash it seems simple enoough to make. I guess you just need a plant with ridiculously high THC content?

To be honest though im quite happy with my current grow. I think its growing quite fast....but im ridiculously impatiant so i want everything NOW and wont be happy till it happens

I've heard of people using lemon/lime juice and even piss. You could try dissolving some vitamin C (ascorbic acid) but I doubt it would work either.
The PH doesn't seen to stay down.

Go down to your hydro store and buy a bottle of PH down (phosphoric acid) for $10 which should last you for years. Plain old bi-carb will do for PH up even though I rarely use it. Phosphoric acid is good because it holds a stable PH and provides extra phosphorus.
