HI everyone
OK so i have now had to switch to my HPS without the cooltube for the time being as i have not had enough time to install the RVK as yet and i made a complete schoolboy error earlier. I was replacing the CFL into a new reflector and i was tightening the bulb up into the holder and was holding onto the tubes and not the base and i freaking snapped the bulbs so push come to shove i have had to put the HPS in and try and keep it cooler in there.
So here are some more pics of today.
Today i have topped 3 out of 4 of the plants i shall be topping the POT OF GOLD after it has grown a couple of more nodes.
You can see from the pics how much i have taken off and from where.

OK so i couldnt keep the HPS cool enough last night and temps in my grow room reached 32C so i have had to get another flouro.
This time i have bought a 200w 6400k CFL mainly because they didnt have a 125w. I will be trial running the Cooltube with the HPS after the weekend as i am busy visiting a friend this weekend.
I cannot believe how much the ambient temperature of my house is effecting my grow room. Here in the UK we have seen temperatures in excess of 25C which has been great but ive never prayed for rain so much in my life.
Hopefully when i trial run the cooltube (not in my grow room) it will prove that its going to work as i am expecting to be able to touch the glass of the cooltube without it burning.
A couple of the plants are showing a couple of burnt spots from the extreme heat they went through last night but i am sure they will bounce back. Have given the other 2 a flush today and also gave them all some PH6 plain water until i had 20% runoff.
I will update with pics on friday so you can see the difference the topping has made.

LOL I have been praying for rain too man. Shit i hate it when it rains but i have changed my mind.... Bring on the RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRain...... Im back to two main lights and 4 CFL lights tomorrow. hoping the rain gods decide to take piss and cool this mofo planet down.....

LIttle picture update for you all.
The girls look a little wet because they are. I have just given them all a precautionary spray of SPINOSAD.
the burnt spots are the result of the HPS running too hot for 1 day. As i have not really nuted the ladies at all.
Have also topped the POT OF GOLD today too. as per pics

HI All
Picture update for you all as i am busy packing for my mini break away tomorrow and will not have chance to update the thread.
I have tried to get a side picture of each plant also so that you can see the new growth coming from the part which i topped.
I am still suffering slightly with either of the following things.
NUTE BURN, SLIGHT OVER WATERING or BURNING FROM THE HPS.
As you can see all new growth appearing is coming out clean and green.
I am just going to use plain ph6 water for the next few waterings but i doubt i will be watering before monday.

Hey buddy....
I think that there looking strong again. I think it was the heat from the HPS combined with the hot weather. And from the looks of the new growth they look to have gotten over any of the initial stress. I love Picture 7. Looks with the new growth. 2 giant colas coming your way me think's. Oh and good idea to keep them on plain PH6 for a couple of feed's. I did the same thing to mine when i had problems and it fixed them up real good.
Mini break...lol Make sure you double triple quad check your timers bro..

Want your advice on cutting the ceiling once i see how you've done yours unsure how to do it best. Measuring guessing etc.
Once i get the ceiling cut its gonna be RVK mounted HPS in 1 week vigorous Growth then 12 12. PUSH PUSH PUSH lol

OK so i have been thinking about his for the last couple of hours.
I am probably going to give the girls some plain ph6 on monday then fit the Cooltube and HPS into the grow room during the same week allow it to run for a few days then give them one more plain ph6 watering. After this i am going to give them another full week of veg with an EC of 1.4 then switch to 12 12 . I will up the EC of the grow to 1.7 until i get preflowers and then switch to 2 waterings with plain PH6 water. After this i will give a feed of EC 1.7 bloom nutes. THen the next feed after that i will up the EC to 1.9 or 2.
For my last 4 weeks of flowering i will be adding a 1ml/1L shot of BOOST at an EC level of 2.1 maybe 2.2.
During the last 10 days before i flush 2 of the plants are going to get a hit of GHE Ripen every other feeding with an EC of 2.2 where as the other 2 will get the RIPEN during the FLUSH cycle. Thats right i am not going to flush out the RIPEN. these 2 are gonna get pushed the whole way through their life. Unsure yet as to which 2 it will be Bud formation will tell me which 2.
See you soon as i probably wont be updating now until monday.

What a great little break i had.
So i have checked in on all the little ladies and they seem to be coping fine now. The pot of gold has some new growth on the very top starting to come through. I am going to be testing the RVK with the cooltube today set up just in the bedroom so that i can see if the glass gets too hot etc before i put it in the room. ONce i have tested all this out i can then install it.
I will update later with some pics for you all so that you can see the new developments.
DanTheBull i think you will enjoy the picture update later showing all the new growth and new nodes that are appearing from the tops.

Here is an update and design of my cooltube installation
You can see from the diagram how i intend to install this cooltube.
I have also attached a pic of the cooltube in the ducting, i ran the lamp for approximately 1 hour and the glass was still cool enough to touch on the cootube.
Hopefully this installation will keep temps stable when the cooltube and 600w HPS are installed.

So here are the updated pics from today showing new growth.
ONe of the pics has not come out too well but i can assure you there is a little bit of new growth under all that foliage lol.
I have given the girls a little 500ml each of a 1.5EC grow nutes feed today.
