Thanks ninj and LG. Yeah maybe 11 weeks is too long. Sorry to fire another question back at you but... i am going away for 2 weeks soon and that will be at day 57 of the flowering cycle. Hyperthetically if it was ready at say 9 weeks and i left it say 10 days longer as i wasnt there to chop it down would it still be fine or is the window for chopping quite small? If others know this feel free to chime in. I am off to pick up my microwave from fucking granville. Be back soon. Cider time!!!

There is a point where ur Trichomes start 2 degrade, but under Fluros & feeding straight water, it's likely that ur trip will make little to no difference to ur girls.

i wouldnt have thought flueros would have provided all that much support for flower? What wattage HPS you using?

IF i dont manage to get my HPS in time for flowering should i swap out my normal Grolux tubes with a different type to support flower?

3 lights can reach a lot more areas of the plant than one hanging above. i wouldn't use something if it didn't work.

ninja how long did u leave your seedlings in your coco? im just curious as to when ill replant mine in soil cos coco has no food in it, thought a second opinion would be nice.
Anyone here ever tryed SubCools Super Soil ? im pretty keen to give it ago this grow round + its all organic and has enuff nutrients in the soil to support the whole life cycle.

Mine are tubes not compacts.....so i have no idea what the spectrum is. Ill have to look into it.

yeah rocky i'm not spending too much time here anymore, there's a scary arse person runnin round pretending to be other scary arse people lol scary arse people kinda put me off, esp showing pics of illegal activities round em.

my setup is weird at the moment, i'm either gonna overhaul everything totally and go a new way, or change about a bit, dunno yet.

I know growlux CAN be used for aquariums....but i think generally speakin they used for propergation. I did a quick google search and cant seem to find any tubes that change in thier wavelength....they all seem to be the propergation lights of normal white light.

Im not gonna bother with looking into them TOO much though as my goal is to have a HPS soon anyway. That said where did you get your tubes from?...a hydro store or lighting store?

EDIT: well that was dumb of me. 2700k is just a standard Yellow fluero tube. These should not be confused for just any old light though as you can also get the cool blues or daytimes which are more towards the blue spectrum. For memory my tubes peak at both blue and red so can be used for both stages (how good they are in flower is another question though) so maybe keeping my normal grow tubes mixed with some cool blues for growth may be good as it should produce primarily blue light :)

yeah theyd be duel spectrum , there t8's yeah ? there primarely for aquatic plants but work just as good on others from what ive read , look on your globe is it like 11,000 or 12,00k? you would be better off buying the 2700k lights for suplement light for flower not the cool daylight because the light is more important in flower then it is in veg.

ill have to check what they are tbh. I have no idea about the temps on them ill check them tonight. Going to also set up my other stack of tubes tonight. (just normal household tubes not the grow ones) I think they the cool daylight style light tho (white/blue) so they should be good for growth right? I think i also got some warm yellow lights aroud too (the 2700k range i think) so they should be good for flower?

Thanks for your help mate, appriciated ;)

ive always thought, with fluoro tubes, theres no significant difference between the grow type and typical everyday home type. i mean i bought my tubes from bunnings. for veg i got 2 twin fixture fluoros each with a warm and cool tube. im eventually gonna trade them up for an MH light but theyre working wonders for me in veg
