Congratulations! The best thing to do is to read the sticky's that are at the top of the forum when you click on newbie central. They contain a wealth of knowledge throughout the whole grow process. If you still have a question after reading and doing a little research, then post a thread for some advice and people will be glad to help. Welcome to the club!

What lights are you using? Where are you growing? What nutes are you planning on using? Are you planning on just growing this plant for fun and something to look at or are you actually going to try to flower it? It's really difficult to give you any feedback when all you've given me is a picture of the plant and it's age. Obviously, you're growing in soil. I can see that from the pic. Other than that, though, I have no idea what the other variables are. At this point, 2-3 weeks into veg, you should just make sure the plant is getting enough light and water when it's dry. Nice air circulation never hurts, but isn't essential at this point. From what I can see in the pic, it looks to be healthy, so that's a positive.

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad to see another person growing MJ. It's just that until you've really done some research, can provide more information to us and know which questions to ask, you're not going to get very good help here.

I'm using 400 watt mh/hps electronic ballast. I haven't decided what nutes to use yet. Of course I'm going to flower it, why would I just grow it to look at lol? My boyfriend grows but I'm trying to do this on my own.

Well, thank god you didn't say you were using CFLs. If I see one more person on here trying to grow 20 plants with 2 CFLs, I'm going to pull what's left of my hair out.

I hope you're being sarcastic about people trying to grow 20 plants with 2 CFLs. Even I know that's ridiculous.

LOL, yeah, I'm being sarcastic. I understand people don't always have a lot of money for lights and equipment, but I've never seen so many people growing with CFLs as I have around here. I use them in my household lights to conserve electricity, not my grow.

I used CFLs until my other light came in the mail. They're not bad for seedlings, but probably aren't quite up to par when it comes to the vegetation and flowering stages. The good thing about the one I have is I don't have to have 2 different ballasts when I need to use another type of bulb.

DSCN0363.jpgDSCN0362.jpg About 1 month old. Is she about the right size for her age? Does anyone notice anything wrong? Comments welcome.

Hey Hey Hey. I'm a friend of natty's. When he told me you adopted Pippa I was hoping you'd post a thread, I'd like to see what kind of ideas you got for her. And here it is! lol
Glad to see she's doing good. She looks healthy to me. Not to jump on here and pretend to know anything or tell you what to do but do you have the jiffy pellet like halfway above the surface of the soil? Maybe she needs to go a little deeper? I'm new too so I could be wrong but just my thoughts ya know. Or if you know something I don't know fill me in. lol Well anyway congrats on the adoption. I hope she doesn't end up being a bitchy problem child for ya.

By the way....do you know anything about this super secret new fan system natty's cooking up? If you tell me I won't tell.
LOL

Anyway don't be a stranger stop by now and then.
:peace:

I think you have to much light. I would switch those shitty cfls to 1 60 Watt incandecent bulb. Now those are beast!!

If your going the cheap route you would probably like to add a lot of compost (30%-40%) to your medium and the plant should be just fine for a month or so.
It should drasticly reduce the need for other supplements, making the grow cheaper but not less effective.
