How long does it take for Clones to bud / smoke :)

Hmm 50 clones thats a little much for starting out seeing as you don't know the aging period of marijuana.
Marijuana usually will take about 3 months depending upon how long you want it in the vegetative state which would probably be around 1 1/2 months if you are growing indoors, and then proabable another 1 1/2 month for flowering.
Outdoors is a different story which I am unsure about...

There many more variables involved in it than the number of plants you have and the strain. I suggest that you get used to doing some research (you will have to do alot if you have to take care of that many plants) and figure out what type of setup is best for you. Things you should consider are the room dimensions, proximity to neighbors, available funds ect. One rule of thumb i always follow is take the amount you think the whole thing is going to cost and double it then expect to spend that much. Believe me... it adds up

If they are all the same strain what does the number of plants matter?... Cuttings from a mature plant will take 7- 10 days to root, less in aero... anyway after that it will be 8 to 12 weeks depending on indica, sativa (possibly longer than 12 for sativa) , and strain veriables untill your ready to chop them.

I dont agree, if you have the mature mother plant or plants, and the space and lighting to support 50 cuttings go for it.. i would not suggest using cuttings stright to 12/12 from a plant that is not totally mature (3 months) . It will be a learning experience but a quick one at that. Even if you kill 40 of them you will learn a ton and still have a bit for yourself. I suggest keeping the cuttings mad close, like 6 inches square from eachother and use an aircooled hood to get your light closer. Grow baby Grow
Square pots or grow bags, and probably a trellis system would work to your favor
About the yeild.. Take the wattage of your light and expect to get a half gram per watt for now , that is if your are new...
once you are more experienced you can get up to a gram per watt or more

yeah that sounds dead on. or is you have the lights thro 9 under each 1,000 and aim for 2 zips a plant. but if your a rookie I would do how this guy is saying sog

Ok , well I got a friend that can get me some Kush clones O.G and Sour D . I was planning on putting 2 clones in a 5gal. bucket. I only want the plants to produce 42grams or more but will be very happy at 28grams since im a rookie. I been reading a bit and some say they let there clones get no taller then 12"-16" flowering stage then toss it in for the harvest stage. They tend to get 38+ grams per clone

I am planning on running whatever lighting system is appropriate for a 50 clone set up. Either 2 600w or 1 - 1000w with air cooled hoods.
The room is 12L x 10w x 7ft tall . Its in the basement with them glass block window and a little vent/window .. " Forget the name LOL " So I can run a "6 inline fan carbon filter either straight out the window or if poss. straight to the chiminea which would be pimp.

unless you are planting your clones in 1 gallon buckets and doing a sea of green you goin gto need alot more light than you are planing on. i put 9 to a table and pull 20 zips

yeah the 2 600s would be clean. I would run my whole crop like that but I would need 10 600's and thats alot of lenzes to clean

Now POT SIZE ??? What would be a appropriate size for minimum for these 50 clone. Cause I was reading alot of people put 2 clones in 1 - 5gal. bucket .

I have seen a lot of SoG where they place the clones into 6-8'' pots from start to fin. about 10 weeks per plant.(2 weeks of veg.8weeks in flower) and 2 1000's would make them grow Phat tops

What does that mean ? Also the reason why Im choosing clones is because I want a quick crop. I plan to flower the clones for about 2wks then straight to harvest. Id guess there be able to fully bud / mature within 8-10wks with a little help from Co2 / nutrients . Ill be really happy to get anything over 28grams dry on each clone. 2 - 1000w systems I also thought would be the way to go since I want to produce the most weight as poss. per clonee
So what do you think ?

Well i think what you mean to say is that you plan to VEG for 2 weeks then flower for 8. You harvest at the end of flower and there is no such thing as a harvest period. I just want to say that the guy saying "Go for it" is eating his words right now. SOG stands for sea of green (Google FTW). There is no such thing as a quick/ easy crop imo and as i stated before you need to be willing and able to do your own reasearch. Forums help but you cant listen to everybody. You need to find out the basics for yourself then it will help you sift through some of the B.S. on the forums. I would reccomend reading George Cervantes indoor medical grow bible. If you dont like to read then expect to kill many plants.
