Hey Whats the best way to germinate? and the best way to store the rest my seeds?

I don't know if this is the best but I have have really good outcomes with this: I soak the seeds in water for 24 hours and then put them straight into rapid rooters in a prop tray and I make sure the bottom 1/4 of the RR's stay immersed in water for first few days, I'll drain out the water from the tray and top water over the RR's. Once I have a nice and healthy taproot sticking out the ass end of the RR I transplant to a solo cup full of soil. The big key with rapid rooters is NEVER let them dry out till you get them in the soil.

well even if theyre not a multi million dollar company.. they sure as shit are makin alot more than me.. or any1 else on here.. im sure they wont miss the extra 7 free seeds he got.. ot however many he got.. its not a big deal... not a big enough deal to go write a big post complainin about it sum1 else comin up.. are u gonna tell me that if they sent u an extra batch of seeds.. that you would call them up or write them and be like ooo, you sent me extra seeds.. and even if u did.. they'd probly tell you to keep them.

The govt. sets many rules (not growing/smoking wee being one of them).. im sure ur not honoring their honor system right?

yeaa another good way to germinate which i use with good results is to take a paper towel/napkin and spray it with water... get it nice and moist. place the seed(s) (make sure not to mix them up and forget which seed is which) in the wet paper towel and fold it in 1/2 and then get a plastic baggie and stick the paper towel in the baggie and close the bag up so no moisture escapes.. and put it sumwhere dark.. and within 1-2 days.. you should see a decent size taproot. =)

I ordered 6/7 about 3 hours after the sale started. I got my seeds 6/15 in the mid west!!!! The usps site only said "We have been notified by the sender to expect this package" or some such until the morning it was delivered.

Indoor CFL Grow, Sunshine Mix #8 mixed with 50% Perlite 18/6.

I am growing the Sensi Star and the Sour Cream in my first round (2 others but I am not allowed to talk about them per thread rules )

Germinated over night in PH Neutral Tap Water that sat out for well over 24 hours and then planted in Jiffy Peat Pellets under a el cheapo blue spectrum grow light for 24 hours. I am a newb and I use this method because even tho I have had really bad luck growing them every seed I have started this way pops the soil so far.

Sour Cream: Popped soil in about 5 hours, she is a beast. 4 days old nice stem and I swear I see little tiny grow nodes already...

Sensi Star: Just starting to peek thru the soil on day 4. I am worried about this girl but I have high hopes! If she does not make it till transplant I think I will grow either Motavation or Blue Cheese.

I made a very small order so the only extra Freebie I got was "Rocklock" but since it wasn't quadruple thunder free I did not add that in.

Will add pictures as soon as they have more than the 1st serrated leaves!

hope this grow works out for you as i heard what happend to your last crop. we live and learn and become better from our mistakes if we pay attention

People working over the system is not a cool thing to do, especially to a company that is already hooking you up. They gave everyone $100 or more worth of free seeds for spending like $35. They did not make any money off of this promotion, but they did earn repeat customers which is what they were looking to do. But they expected us to be honest.

They will probably never have this kind of promotion again due to the fact that they got screwed over by people when they were doing it on the honor system. We as a growing community need to not rip off the people that are taking care of us. People already view us pot growers as shady individuals, and to basically steal from someone who is doing you a favor is pretty much proving them right.

I have spent plenty of money w them, 14 extra seeds isn't that big of a deal. Not to mention I paid shipping on all 3 orders. You are too much.... hahahha

lol, the worst part was is when I ordered I didn't see where it said ONE ORDER PER CUSTOMER, ANY MULTIPLE ORDERS WILL NOT RECEIVE THE FREEBIES! It didnt say it on the flier just on the home page. So I lucked out, I wasn't trying to take advantage of anything, just looking for a deal like anyone else. I am sure the markup on seeds is thru the roof! LOL f'n guy

i know i told you bout that rule . you got some freebies they got some money its a win win. i saw on here where a guy decided to pollinate his auto flower to harvest seed. he claimed to get 400 + seeds from a plant that only yeilded 9 grams and was uder a foot . i can only imagine how many they would get from a regular sized plant

niiice. =) seems like alot of ppl are growing the same freebies. =) and thanks for respecting the rules as well. if u want. u can tell us what the other seeds were.. i just meant pics and updates i only want done on the freebies. =) oo yea, and you can do pics/updates for the Rocklock as well.. since EVERYONE who ordered had to have got the rocklock as a freebie.. every1 has it and willa t sum point grow it. =) spp i would like to see pics adn updates on that one as well. =) thanks

yeaa exactly.. its pretty much the same as if he made 1 order... and 2 other ppl made orders. =) and holy SHIT thats alot of seeds!! i had a plnt go hermie on me before.. and i probly got like 200 seeds from it.. sum were immature.. but still.. and it was only 1 1/2 ft tall..

Wow, finally got my seeds on Friday. Had to drag my ass down to the post office because on the tracking it said it should have arrived Tuesday morning. When I got there, the lady said the delivery man just didnt drop it off at my house; it was still in his cart. Oh ok, so it's my responsibilty to come to the post office every time I receive a package? Fuckers.

Yeah I was pretty devastated about my first grow but I made cannabutter yesterday and used it on toast this am (it is an aqquired taste I assure you ) but it was also the first time I had ingested any THC of any sort in about 20 years so I did get a decent bit of pain relief in my back!!

Ok, on to the grow, since I am allowed to talk about Rocklock, I germed 3 of the freebies in my grow of 4. Sensi Star is FINALLY trying to break thru, I did what someone suggested in another thread and dug her up and helped her crack and she seems to be zooming along now.

I had to order a new camera so you'll be gettin cell pics for the time being but I am going to wait till the hubby gets home as his camera on his blackberry is way better than my el cheapo phone.

I have started a grow journal on this grow that I will be writing SOMETHING in everyday, it will also have some comparisons to my last grow and where I think I made the mistakes. They pay at least 50% of the price they are charging for the seeds. Yes there is a huge markup on seeds, but there is the same markup on all other products too. They do these promos to earn more customers in the future. They figure if they at least break even, the customers they earned for the future will make up for it. But when people take advantage of things, it makes it much tougher to make these promos work. I have owned businesses before, I have a degree in marketing, so I have a bit of an idea as to what is going on here. They didn't make any money on this promo. They are hoping that because they got everyone's order out to them in a timely matter and in good condition, that you will order from them again when you are making your next order and you will recommend them to other people asking about seed banks. The money doesn't come from doing the promo. The money starts to come in after the promo is over and they now have a bunch of new, repeat customers.

But if you guys all want to think I'm just some moron, go right ahead.

I get exactly what you are saying, before I was hurt I managed a seafood restaurant. We made no $$ on Monday night all U can eat crab legs anyway and it made me Irate when someone tried to "Split" an All U can eat with their 13 year old kid who could eat like a horse.

Here is where my opinion differs slightly, We as managers took steps to avoid this from happening.

Attitude markets to people who smoke pot, some medically,some casually, some like fiends and some who sell it also. It is not a large stretch of the imagination to think someone might try and take advantage. Should they? No. Will they? Yes. That is business. I also took my fair share of marketing classes and I am SURE attitude not only thought this might happen but expected it...

Now MAYBE we can get the thread back to what it was set up for????????
