sprinkled yesterday a little bit, but was mostly sunny.... sunny today, plants are loving it.....

Just a quick word in on my lunch break, more later.... seems like Im barely holding everything together, getting things done.... work work work.... family love....

And the most important recent discovery.... it has been confirmed, my daughter is a leader, she will do great things..... sigh..... I couldn't imagine my heart feeling any better than now.... but I know as time keeps passing by, it will swell and burst, swell and burst, its capacity increasing with each swell, with each wave I ride in life.... my children leading me through.....

There is a whole post dedicated to the process I go through in putting the beds up... in my journal a few pages back....

The dimensions of the holes I dig for them are:

18-28 inches deep
4 - 4 1/2 ft wide on all four sides, even wider for the more shallow beds.

The wood for the beds is 2"x12", doug fir, I buy it in 12 to 16 ft boards.

The larger beds are 3'x3' squares, the 2"x12"s are double stacked, so the beds would stand 2 ft off the ground, but I set them into the ground about 6 inches, so they stand about 18" up from the ground.

When I put the bottom layer of the beds in, I nail the two layers of "chicken wire" to the base of the wood, and staple using wood staples in between the nails so no gofers or moles can get through in between the nails. I lay the "chicken wire" down so its bowl shaped, extended at least 8-10 inches below the bottom of the wood for the beds, to provide for a larger area for the roots that is protected against the moles and gofers.

and in the private message I sent you I forgot the dimensions for the smaller raised beds.

They are also made with 2"x12" that are set 6 inches into the ground nailed and tacked to chicken wire. But they only come up out of the ground about 6 inches, the holes are smaller in width than the larger beds, but the holes are just as deep as the larger beds. The sides are 2'x2'

Shit I wouldn't have even gotten out of bed this morning, but Lavenderstars "motivated" me .

But if you get down and dirty the night before, you will both be exhausted come morning time....... besides, evening time is for transplanting, hehehe

See, it works, Im in a great mood, and anxious to get out and to work.... hehe

Have sex in the morning before you go out to work, not the night before..... I have found that I work best when getting some in the morning, and am happier to be working.

For sure brotha for sure Thats the best even when you dont go out to the garden or off to work...

First order of business I lost 11 girls cause one of my little grow rooms I had set up in a friends room were discovered by
his significant other and thrown out! NOT happy about that.... so I still have 9 auto's a sharksbreath and some NL bag seed left to grow... it will still be a fairly good grow for this area, cause it is really hard to find a goor location without a vehicle to travel longer distances but I will never give up this crop is my life blood right now and am hopin for at least a half pound, I just dont know what the grow seasons are gonna be like cause its so hot and dry all the time during the summer months! I will deffinately post my journal when its ready i just had a few set backs................................... and i still persevere

So curious as to what exactly this discovery of leadership entails!

his significant other and thrown out! NOT happy about that.... so I still have 9 auto's a sharksbreath and some NL bag seed left to grow... it will still be a fairly good grow for this area, cause it is really hard to find a goor location without a vehicle to travel longer distances but I will never give up this crop is my life blood right now and am hopin for at least a half pound, I just dont know what the grow seasons are gonna be like cause its so hot and dry all the time during the summer months! Twisted up a couple ounces of fat stinky nugs into joints..... Purple Kush Colas lined up for smokin, got the bong and a couple pipes ready to go. The brews are chillin in the cooler.... Hash is ready to be puffed on too..... 3 BBQ's lit up and starting to coal..... pork and beef Steaks, chicken, ribs, hot dogs, hambrugers, lasagna, pasta, cheesy potatoes, baked potatoes, chicken salad, potato salad, chex mix, chips, dip, and fresh home made salsa and veggies to snack on, fresh hand tossed salad, fresh fruit, home made pizza, tons of soda, home made sun tea, sprinklers on, plants are reaching for the sky.....

And no ones shown up. BBQ was set to start two hours ago..... guess Im just going to have to start puffing nuggets and running through the sprinklers..... if no one shows up we will smoke ourselves into a coma! Its upsetting to me though..... its not about me, its about this BEAUTIFUL, wonderful, smart, funny, sweet little girl..... she deserves the world..... she deserves to have fun with other kids on this day..... she seems content to play with daddy though, to stare into my eyes, and creep into my soul..... my precious baby girl..... today is your day, fuck everyone else .

Damn man, no one showed up for her party? Fuck them man, she will remember this birthday with her Dad over the rest for sure. I can picture the two of you running through the sprinklers with your little girl and it makes me smile and a little sad at the same time. My little girl stays with me every summer, except this one. She didn;t come out this year, breaks my heart. The precious moments the two of you spent are much more meaningfull than the a party would have been anyway. i do feel bad for her and you though my friend, some people just don't appreciate all the hard work it takes to host a party. I have a quick question tld im new to the site but been growing outdoors for many years but never had anybody i could ask questions. im growing in homade compost and at 4 months they are 5 to 8 ft and get about 11hrs of sun light , they are starting to go into full flower. I have sum flowering nutes and the npk is 0-10-10 do i need sumthing wit a little nitrogen or is that o.k?
