Me and my wife had a child he is now 4years old, but before she got pregnant we were heavy marij smokers. I convinced her not to quite because she was pregnant . we didnt we smoke nearly 10-20 grams aday. My son was super healthy and very smart .. he is learning at a high rate higher than the other 4kids it seems.. those who the mom didnt smoke during pregnancy.. Mt argument was smoke couldnt harm the baby since the chemicals of marij was fead thrgh the ambilical cord thrgh blood ... how would smoke transfer to there and hurt the baby . I knew thc was good for us and the baby. It proved that it help the baby grow and learn etc..... the governement lies and commits fraud by saying marij is harmfull ... this was done not to prove the government was wrong but because marj is a religious tool i use .. and knew all along that marij helps you not hurts you ... period ... hiw can i sue the government for liying commiting fraud and not allowing me my freedom of religion. so any one expecting a baby .. dont stop smoking and make sure your wife smoke heavy .. it helps the baby not hurt the baby ........THE GOVERNMENT ARE BIGG LIERS AND ARE FRAUDULENT....

its illegal not b/c of the smoking aspect. well at least in the 30s.. when the bs laws passed....however the hemp ...industry..paper ,plastic, oil, flower, fuel...clothing..the list goes on and on..the cotton growers back in the 30s realized this...with the invention of a mechanized reaper in the 20s to streamline the brake down of all its usfull things... it would of took en over cotton farms and taken money away from the cotton farmers.so they pooled all there money ...lobbied the newly formed DEA ..who was a cotton backer and they passed the hemp tax stamp law that didnt actual ban hemp/weed just made it so u have to have a tax stamp.
.to get this passed and hoe they did it without riots from all the hemp growers :they told them they would give them the stamps... however ..they did not give them the stamps.and over night hemp farming was made illegal..even though henry Ford had a hemp plasic car in 1941 and it ran on hemp oil...he envisioned the world running on clean fuel not oil base..then big business took over ..and there u have it... big pharma, big cotton, big lumber ( paper ) and now all the 800K people into the private prison systems soo all the prison companies cna make millions... plus to to mention 43 billion dollars a year the Government spends eradication it..... Its too big of a business and it effects too many of the ceo's pockets/ legislators .its one of the biggest conspiracies .. however its soon being realized..however 73 years later.... trillions of dollars wasted for a plant that is less harmfull then aspirin....

In many religions, they require psycoactive states to be altered in order to have a greater expirience, understanding, and relationship with god.

You did not know for a fact that there would be no dangers to a developing fetus. Facts are things that have been proven to be true and you only assumed there would be no danger to a developing fetus and now are again assuming that there was no danger since you have not yet visibly spotted signs of any problem. Hopefully there will never be any signs of problems but regardless of what you want and need to believe you did gamble and your child was the chip you gambled with.

You know, I know quite a few people that smoke weed during pregnancy b/c they had horrible morning sickness and couldn't ever eat, it helped their appetite and their babies are perfectly fine too;
In fact, they prescribe medical marijuana to pregnant women in some states to help with morning sickness.
The only health risks weed has when your pregnant is that it can make your child more prone to ear infections.
It really doesn't fuck with the baby.
But anything the mother takes in the baby does as well.
Smoking does get to your baby when you are pregnant, once weed enters your bloodstream, it passes through the umbilical chord onto the baby; that's how it works with other drugs even cigarettes too.
But truth be known, if it was so bad for babies, they wouldn't prescribe it to the mother.

Gonna have to agree with this as well. And as Mr. Brick Top said, you *did* gamble with your child's well-being, which makes me very sad. If you can accept that we are naturally built to reproduce, then perhaps introducing 10-20g of marijuana into the reproducer's body each day for 9 months may not be the smartest thing to do... If ever there was a call for some self control, I'd say these 9 months would be that one time.

The point is: I don't know. You don't know. Nobody knows...yet.

If I was the mother (maybe I am biased, because this is coming from a man's point of view), I would do everything in my control to maintain the absolute best health possible during this time period (avoiding even over-the-counter drugs and most foods).

Smoke cannot reach the baby only the chemicals through the blood ....the thc , is a chemical designed to make you more aware and physcoconnected to god and the supreme being. That is a fact ... People if you gonna smoke marij then know why you are smoking it ... Of course it seems recreational because connection with sun earth and the supreme being is fun and delightfull even if you dont know that is the reason ....... I have this debate a lot myself b/c my sis smoked with her baby too.
And my nephew is perfectly fine!
People just think it's bad b/c weed is considered a drug.
They don't know b/c they never experienced pregnancy most likely lol.
And trust me, if you were puking your guts out everyday you'd wanna get high too.
My sister's morning sickness was so bad she would cry and ask why it wouldn't stop and freak out lol.
It definitely does help more then it does hurt.
And it would be greatly appreciated if no one would make negative comments on my nephew or my sister.
I know a lot of mom's that did the same thing, and their babies are totally fine.
