Ak-47

Here are a couple photos of our AK-47 mother at 3 weeks old from seed. She is in a Happy Frog, Vermiculite, Hydroton, Coir mix with a buried airstone in a 5 gallon container. 500 watts of blue spectrum light at 72 degrees f. We are deciding what to cross her with. What do you guys think?

Yeah, But they still sketch me out a little... I want to believe that they have that crazy yielding stuff, but it doesn't seem likely. I haven't heard anything on their super strains...

The reason I was asking is because I just got done selecting a good female from an 11 pack of AK47 from serious seeds. Your 2 plants look a lot more indica dominant than the beans I grew. It's too early to tell but you're sure off to a good start. If you could update this thread with the progress of your grow, I'd be very interested to follow along. In about 40 days, I can show you what the AK47 product from serious seeds looks like just for you own info.

No "other" choice? It's not my fav, but I wouldn't call it crap either. High to mid-grade maybe, depends alot on the grower too. Not the best, but very, very far from the worst.

I go back and fourth as to whether I'm a better brewer or grower. I enjoy both and as I'm sure you can attest to, creating something yourself makes things taste so much better . Too bad there aren't any homegrown competitions, .

HomeBrewer- We are brewing in 55 gallon drums all around our grow room... The plants love that CO2!! and we love beer I think that we will be alive to see national homegrown competition.

Sounds like you have a 2 barrel brewery over there. What's on tap?

you have an airstone, in the soil? hows that working for ya? does it get clogged?

Cross it with some afganhi strain. i hear those strains produce desne ass nuggets.

The airstone is wrapped in a natural sponge and it works well. Here are a couple pics at 4 weeks


7 gallon bucket, her roots are pokin out the bottom. Internode every 1/2 inch... She is doing well

Your plants look good but unless they are Serious' Seeds I don't know about that connoisseur quality.

Also there are many steps between crap and perfection.

good looking plant. I have Ak47 going as well but from Serious Seeds. I'm interested to see how this turns out.
