Morning peeps! I was unsure what I was going to run this time around.
I've opted to run 2 Nirvana FEM Auto Northern Lights in each of the 2 AeroGardens.

I just received my 120w LED QUAD
660nm Red, 460nm Blue, 610nm Star Burst Orange, and Full Specturm High K White
Red :76 leds, blue: 12 leds,orange: 12 leds and white 12 leds

I've got the Seeds germinating now and I expect to drop the germ'd seeds in by Friday.

I'll get some pics up tonight or tomorrow of my cabinet with the new light setup.

Looking forward to this grow! 1st time with these new Auto's from Nirvana.

A quick update;

*Note: I've used Tap water in the past to germinate my seeds; I used Distilled water this time and I kid you not, one day's worth of Germ yielded on average 2-3 CM tap roots. Gotta Love distilled water; at least I do! :>*

Starting up tonight!!!

I'll be following this. Thinking about ordering some auto NL seeds myself, but haven't heard much about them. Let us know how things go!

Hmmmm... I realized that I cannot run the 2 AeroGarden Hoods and the LED at the same time.
Came home from work just now..... The water was close to boiling in the RES.

I've since taken the Hoods out.. the Led remains.. i may supplement with CFL's later on......

I hope I've not killed all 4.... :<

I'll update again tomorrow.

Killed one Northern Light Auto. I've since germ'd a (Nirvana Auto) Bubblicious Fem. She's since Popped her Seed casing.
The 3 Northern Light Auto's and the 1 Bubblicious are doing well. I'll take some pics on Friday.
I've opted to use only the LED in this grow. 120W Quad band.

Only 120 watts? Will that be on 1 or 2 plants? I would not do any more than that with that amount of lighting, especially LEDs. They are good. But you need a good spectrum, the good led lamps have 10 or more colors in them, and cost a shit load. I tried an LED grow only with 3 90w ufos. They did good for veg. But couldnt flower them properly, I went for about 8 weeks, and then put a 600 watt hps in, the growth tripled in size on my autos that were almost finished before I put the hps in. And my regulars took off like crazy too. After seeing the difference first hand, I wont waste my time with LEDs anymore. That being said, you are doing autos, and not a lot of them, so They might do ok under your light.

All 4 will do great!

Again, with 3 UFO's.. I take it you got a Sweet deal on them. I Highly doubt that the quality was up to standards... Would you buy a 600 Watt MH/HPS for $150.00? I sure as hell would not.

You get what you pay for .. Based on your comments, I'd say you got 3 Flying Causers full of LEAD not LED's
I assume this based on the plethora of successfully LED Grows which I've observed both in person (as of late) and via this and a variety of other Online MJ Growing resources.

Try providing some useful information in the LED thread about the Brand and model of your UFO's; being that LED's are becoming more and more prevalent, why not help?

The expensive ones do well, for small areas. I said that. But they are just that, too expensive. I wouldnt pay $1000 for a 600w hps either. I also said compared to hps they are not worth it. I saw the difference with my own eyes. I cant remember the brand all that shit. I do know they were quad band ufos, the company that made a certain color I dont know if it was the white or blues was bridgelux. But maybe Im wrong, and if I am you will get around an ounce dry from each of those autos, because thats what people that are using hps are getting from them, sometimes twice that. Considering you are using 120 watts with 4 plants, that would be amazing. Hell thats supposedly comparable to a 600watt hps so you should be fine. I have seen just as many LED grows as you have Im sure. I did my whole research stint on them, and bought some just to try out. In the end no matter what you say, or anyone else for that matter, hps wins in the end. Though I expect LED tech to get much better, and come down in price, or it will just phase out. No one wants to pay that much for performance when better performance can be achieved with lighting that costs half that. Its just not consumer friendly at this point. I am still using my LEDs, but for veg. I wouldnt waste my time flowering with them again. The grows I see doing good have a good 600 watts to 1000 watts crammed in a small area. And they are not able to get the yield that you can get with hps because of light spread and penetration. Less light spread, smaller possible canopy size, less penetration, smaller, less dense, meaning lighter buds. Potency is fine, just not worth the expense or risk for such a minimal yield. Prove me wrong. I would love it. I like learning new things. But having gone from forum to forum myself, searching youtube, and seeing several LED grows myself, they just cant compare to hps, even watt for watt. I am trying to help you, you dont have to be a smart ass. I am trying to save you time, and not have you waste it on the LEDs. I understand you are probably mad at yourself for buying such an expensive piece of shit. I was too. Dont feel bad. If LED was so good at a low wattage, dont you thing all of the big medical growers would have LEDs across their rooms and not hps, saving themselves money on cooling and ventilation. Hell if they worked as good as they say, everyone could run a thousand watt LED system, and pull in several pounds easy, from that one light. Dont fuck around and act like you know all this shit. I have been there, done that. LEDs, at this point, at their price, are SHIT. The best one are homemade any way. Even the top companies dont use the best LEDs available on the market. If your going to use LED you might as well do your research on individual diodes. You will need at least 10 or more colors, red, far red, uv, different blues, orange, white. All that good shit. I do know what Im talking about, dont think Im one of those idiots who doesnt put time into what they do.

I'm amazed with how fast they are growing. I wonder how much better LED's are in the Vegetative phase.
I'll post up the pics of the 4 ladies tonight.

Just under 2 weeks since they rose from within the aeroGarden Sponges.

The bubblicious, which was started later then the 3 Northern Lights is catching up. Yet, is growing in a less dense fashion.

1 x 120 Watt Quad Spectrum LED
2 AeroGardens used as a reservoir only.
1 x Air Stone per Aerogarden 1 x Air Pump per Air Stone
Feeding 1/3 Suggested Hydro Veg (NL) 1/4 Suggested Hyro Veg (bubblicious)

I was expecting some stretch, yet they have all remained rather dense (The bubblicious is a tad "looser" then the Northern Lights.

Looking good, I too am running 2 plants in an aero for the res, not sure if you've done grows before or not, but how do you flush and clean your res? I used pantyhose hoping to containing the roots but in the end that didn't work well and last time I cleaned res, day 33 of flower, the roots pretty much filled the entire res and when I removed them held the shape of the tank but were then a bit@@ to put back in due to the various plastic pieces standing up. So if you've done before and have any hints please share.

Retris: Welcome! I will certainly be populating this thread with pics tonight. The 4 ladies are doing well.

Blueberryblitz: Last grow I did in one of my Aerogardens I did flush the res and clean it out.. I did so through the first 4 weeks of Veg.
I found that the manner in which the AeroGarden res works inevitably results in the roots being tangled. I've since Broken and removed all the Internal structure/Pump etc from the AG RES and now I only have My AirStone's in their with the Air Line. I am not planning on Cleaning out the Res until after I've harvested. In my case, with Auto's; I don't foresee much buildup, etc..etc.. If need be, I'll clean it out.

My Roots would come out as one mass. I've not taken the time to separate 'em all. Too much of a pain in the arse, ya know.

Do you think separating the roots would make that much more of a difference or do you think the nutes will find their way to the roots/vice versa?

i heard the nirvana auto's arent really autos, but im subscribed to see :) .. they really do need to change the description tho, that shit is just plain lazy, their auto strains have the same exact description as their non auto strains that raises a flag for me right there what kinda shit is that.. forgot where i seen the thread but it was on here somewhere and it was the NL-Auto that wasnt autoing

I have a blue mystic auto growing right now. This is my 2nd, both flowered at about 2 weeks. The one I have now took longer due to some stress.
