Pistils generally start to show ~ 2 weeks into flowering so I would guess that you are at about week 7 give them a week or two depending on the high your after. If you intend to grow this strain again and want some fem seeds give this a read.

cheers for that link chunky, i want to breed some seeds soon with my triploid plant hopefully get triploid seeds,
im still trying to read up on breeding just gotta give it a go.... well away from the sinsemilla ofcourse as for this strain, whatever it is lol (bagseed)
i wont be growing it again, however im not disappointed in it, taught me alot of things
i've got awesome strains ready to get going once this one is done, some already thriving

Wow man, u count flower from the day you switch 12/12. I was going to say if you have buds like that in 5 weeks - GIVE ME A CUTTING!!
But to see that @ Week 7 is about right.

there is so many mixed opinions on this site when to really start counting flowering time lol
but your right, from now on i will count from the day i switch to 12/12

From the day you flick seems most logical. If you base it on other things then it becomes too subjective.

On a more +note tho they looking nice and frosty dude so keep it up!!

QUESTION:
Are the hairs meant to be so brown? Or does it depend on the strain you use?

hey skiz it seems to be throwing a few more white hairs out now, so im guessing its getting fatter for me?
i don't want to harvest too late though so im gonna keep a close eye on it for the next few weeks of it's life
i will start to flush this week and next until i chop, i'll post more pics come harvest time cheers guys

I heard they will brown up even after you cut them, so i guess a flush now ready to harvest would be a good idea. 7 weeks is pretty far along anyway as most strains seem to be done in 8-10 weeks (according to the seed banks).

on a side note i cut ONE of my hermis down just for fun......shim produced a fair amount

Nah its 2 plants under a meter outdoors....
(im hydro though, AG closet grow)

But i thing having only 2 plants is sufficiant evidence that i'm not planning on dealing or selling for drug money.

im pretty sure in vic anything over 10 plants u get done for cultivation but under that is just personal

i seen a post the other day where some1 on these boards used denrtal floss but man i dont know bout that i would think the dental floss would cut into the branch

yeah thats why i never tried with dental floss, if you got a old hoody or something you dont wear cut the string that is there to tighten the hoody, it should work well and you dont have to worry about it cutting through

2 screen too late
3 I have 4 6 foot plants in a scrog
talk about 3 ways to fuck a grow, now I gotta screw lights to the ceiling
I'm such a tard hammer

yeah thats why i never tried with dental floss, if you got a old hoody or something you dont wear cut the string that is there to tighten the hoody, it should work well and you dont have to worry about it cutting through

even old undies cut into strips or an old tea towl. Potatoe sacks cut into strips work well too. I use all of those methods for my tomatoes (no not as in code for weed but real ones) and they work great on the lil stems

Too late six week but hey they are getting close to the bulbs so fuck it should just cut em but I have been told don't do it you asshole
