my question would be, why? its more expensive and not as effective. if it was more effective there would be thousands of pages of info on it just like molasses. its not like its a "new" product.

i am pretty sure molasses is natural too.

btw, i know tons and tons of information about using apple juice and how it has increased my yield by 389%. but i will refrain from talking about it.

Check this thread out. It may give you a bit of insight on why people use Molasses. Smoke a fatty first. It's kind of a long read. Enjoy!:weed:

I think that molasses is the way to go. I'm not an expert but i think the simple sugars in molasses are exactly what that bacteria culture wants to feed on. - anyway molasses works VERY well, so i'll stick to it.

............that's because it probably is molasses.:weed:

when i give my plants molasses they look at me with those big batty eyes and say, "mmmmm, me luv molasses".

its weird too because they always sound like the cookie monster. but they look more like kermit. accept the blue hammer i grow. it looks a little like cookie.....

i know nothing about apple juice. never heard of anyone using it. it was a joke.

i cant see anyway it would be more effective than molasses. you would have to use it practically straight and that would cost an arm and a leg. and i have no idea what the ph would be.

way more sugar per spoonful of molasses and its a proven aid to growth.

i have a brown thumb and stick to proven performance. remember, we arent the first guys to ever grow weed. all this shit has been tried before. so unless its some sort of new product, ie ceramic metal halide lites, led lites or something like that, its more likely a wives tale.

K I S S. its farming. people have been doing it since adam and eve.

Honey has antibacterial qualities.

Not the best thing for your beneficial bacteria, not to mention the cost.

Actually, you're wrong here. Honey has 17% MORE sugar than molasses. However, honey has virtually zero nutrients in it whereas molasses can have small amounts of potash, sulfur, and a variety of micronutrients. Honey is naturally sterile as it's pH is in the 3's and would need diluted when used to feed to soil, which is what molasses is used for.

EDIT: I think you may have been talking about apple juice now that I reread the quote.

389% - thats a pretty precise statement.

Why ´refrain´ from talking about it if it works??
