would your ideal bowlpack/joint consist of rock hard dense nug or soft fluffy weed?

My weed get's ground up so that it has the highest possbile surface area, it all burns evenly and nciely. Soft or hard has no bearing with me in how it smokes.

Fluffy has no argument for it's case other than someone who prefers to be lazy. oh, and fluffy will have a higher stalk to bud matter ratio

surface area wtf are you talking about. smoking weed not building a brickhouse.(u could with those nugs i bet) as far as stem ratio its a non issue. my fluffy stuff gets as big as my arm. my dense stuff puts out cannonballs if anything id say theres a higher ratio of stem on the dense plant

i would say that the little dense nugs are the way to go. when you grind the shit up it still looks like just as much as the fluffy ones.

But looking at the 71 threads you've started it's pretty clear that you are NOT AT ALL KNOWLEDGEABLE about anything regarding growing. Here is my case for density: when I grow a crop, I use good clean nutrients. I add a reasonable amount of HID lighting in a controlled environment. By paying close attention to their wellbeing, at the end of 9 weeks or so, I have rock-hard buds. Why? Because that's how they grow. So you tell me: how can I get these legendary fluffy buds instead? How do I have to fuck up my grow in order to get your results? Harvest 4 weeks early? Grow in a 95 degree closet? Piss on my plants? What?????? Let us in on the secret. Just grow Haze? Everything else is shit? You are just on RIU to get into bun fights. Get a life.

Higher surface area will mean all of the plant matter will burn evenly, and you won't be left with unburnt globs of shite and that lot. Very basic physics. Hence the reason you don't take a 2g nug and drop it straight into the bowl, by the time you are burning the inside, the outside is a burning charred skanky mess that shouldn't be smoked

As to the stems, you take a dense bud, you will have X amount of stem, and the rest is bud, you take a fluffy bud, you have the same amount of stem, but say half the amount of bud, you have more stem per bud. stem is shitty to smoke.

its strain dependent smart guy. yeah i know nothing im pulling a pound and a quarter out of a 3 foot closet perfect green but yeah im not knowledgeable it doesnt take a genius which proves your stupid if you think its so hard!

well dude, first - dense nugs are "better" because most of the time, you find a dense nug - its going to be a very nice high - very potent bud.
now with the fluffy weed, SOMETIMES i find that SOME of my fluffy weed is actually a pretty decent high.. its not that great, but you know it gets the job done. VERY VERY rarely do i get my hands on a fluffy type of weed thats really good. and almost ALWAYS i get weak fluffy weed, where the high is very low and you need a couple bowls or kief to top it.
so i think why everyone prefers dense nugs is that your 90% guaranteed its gonna be some bomb ass shit. but then again, its all personal - like where do you get your weed? what type do you get? do you always get bomb fluffy weed - or like most other people - just shitty fluffy weed?

2nd, just because its soft and fluffy doesn't make it easier to smoke,
i find that its almost impossible to milk a bong with just breaking up a hard, dense nug with your hands - thats prob what your experiencing.
but have you tried putting it in a grinder? the whole thing with surface area, is true. i dont know why you have to insult people, but its true bro.
try grinding a hard nug, and then loading that weed in..

TBH it's a stupid poll/thread. It isn't about liking dense or fluffy, it's just about preference of strain of weed! Not unless there's a way of making all plants fluffy?

And it's already been said, fluffy or dense, it all goes in the grinder. Smoking fluffy in a bong is a waste if not grinded, just like dense.

i actually find growing different strains that i always prefer the softer bud strains to hard ones- thats including about 6 strains. power kush blue hash candykushxskunk for me any of these flavors beat a strain like blue widow simply because they are softer buds. b wid even has a great taste too in the bong and all the crystals. but bags of other strains look twice as fat at weight and fluffy just burns right no break ups no grinding. world of difference. surface area is just silly if its in your bowl and on fire, surface or depth, it makes no difference. (watch out for fire going around your dense nug and down the pipe hole leaving you with a half-shit pack.) i think what it is is that i have the bombest fluffy weeds (pk and bh) and ill never go back to having to grind shit ever ever again unless im rolling a joint. this poll is pretty much a bust i cant believe its so one sided its probably the wording im not talking about some not put together leaf bud or something, legit soft nugs when i say fluffy. this is worth some pics its day 50 harvest timeish so soon you crazy kids!

i knew from the other thread that, yes, the masses were dense. i didnt realize the extent. i dont see how arm size nugs of power kush and blue hash is improperly grown when blue widows always get cannonballs grown side by side. try some strains boy. and yes approximately 10% of people are smarter than the rest

yeah i only grow bagseed under nightlights so i have no clue about different strains. look at my join date old man. i've never grown power kush but i've grew out some skush and some pot of gold which are both skunk crossed with afghan kush so it sounds pretty similar in genetics but yeah they grew hard nugs. you keep mentioning 2 strains over and over again sounds like you might want to try something new.
