Hey guys and gals,

Numbers:

pH: 6.1
PPM: 600

I topped off my reservoir with RO water earlier today which brought the pH up a bit and the PPM(TDS) down. Adjusted the pH back down to where it is now. Looking fairly stable. I can definitely use full strength nutes next flush, if not even more to achieve my comfortable PPM max (currently ~1000).

Okay, okay Haydoon -- I still haven't enlarged the holes in my screen! I tried, but they're much harder to clip through than I thought they would be. I found a solution for a different screen with perfectly sized holes that I'll try to swap in tomorrow. Stay tuned!

Not much progress on the severed branch or wounded ones either. The wounded branches are still looking good, but I haven't noticed any growth or healing tissue starting to develop over any of the open wounds on the plant. Any thoughts? Does this just take time?

Smell keeps becoming more of an issue, so I ordered two Fresh 2 Ti bulbs today. They are 23W 2700k CFLs, so I'll put one in the case in place of the 30W 2700k and one in the lamp on my bedside table. Hopefully this will pick up any slack from the odor neutralizing gel.

Pretty picture:

Good numbers. No adjustment necessary.

I was able to mount the front light fixture today and reinstall a 30W 2700k bulb. I found out that the 125W 2700k just shipped today, so I'm expecting it later this week.

Not much else to say for today. I didn't get the new screen installed yet. I'll do it as soon as I have a bit of spare time. After a tight training session today, I'm realizing bigger holes will be much easier to work with.

Here are some pictures:

I had to adjust my reservoir pH up a bit today, as it had drifted down over the last 24 hours.

Nothing much new today. The smaller damaged branch isn't looking too great. I think I may have re-damaged her yesterday when I removed the sling to move the main stem a bit. The base of the damaged section is still looking good, but it tapers off and starts to wilt halfway up the branch. Hopefully it will heal... I'll give it some time.

why is your ppm lowering? haha
Haha :). I've been transitioning to full strength flowering nutes, so it should be higher after tonight when I do a flush. As for why my PPM is dropping between flushes, the plant has been drinking a lot lately so I've had to top off my reservoir with ~1 liter of RO water every two days or so. My RO water has a PPM of roughly 300. Hopefully this is a good enough explanation :).

Thanks for looking out!

Hi everyone,

So we're four weeks from seed today, and she's looking great. She has SO many flowering sites! I think she's right on the verge of exploding with bud growth. Training is going well. I haven't had any more injuries. A lot of what training involves lately is tucking under leafy branches, which brings to mind the question: When is it okay to start trimming undergrowth? Now? When she starts flowering in earnest? Never? There's more and more every day!

Numbers:

pH: 6.0
PPM: 1300

I flushed my reservoir today and replaced the half strength flowering nutrients with full strength flowering nutrients, hence the PPM boost. It is a bit on the high side of my allowable PPM, but I think she'll be fine. The PPM will go down a little over the next couple days, and I'll have to top off the reservoir eventually as well. Hell, a week ago she was sitting in PPM1000 water and did great. I also refueled my CO2 generator. I'm almost out of dextrose; I think I'll go to the homebrew shop this weekend to pick some up.

Hi friends!

Numbers:

pH: 6.2
PPM: 975

I topped off my reservoir with some RO water today which brought the PPM down. There was a tiny hint of nute burn on the tips of some of the upper developing leaves, so it looks like I caught any ill effects early and hopefully neutralized any issues which may have arisen.

Exciting news today: Both the 125W 2700k CFL and the two 23W 2700k Fresh2Ti bulbs arrived in the mail! I installed them as soon as I got a chance. The case has a much warmer yellowish afternoon glow now instead of bright white. The jury is still out on whether the Fresh2Ti bulbs are having any effect on the smell situation. One is in the case (giving me 148W of 2700k total) and one is in my bedside lamp. Both have been on for the past ~8 hours and I really can't tell if they're working.

The plant is looking great. I'd say more than 50% of the holes in my grid have flowering nodes in them now. Tons more are still developing. I expect bud growth to fire up within the next week.

Good night, RIU. Thanks for stopping by.

Hi everyone,

I read as much as I could find about trimming under the screen in ScrOG grows. From what I gathered, it sounds like anything that isn't going to make it to the top of the screen should go. I decided to take away some of the obvious veg that was just getting in the way of good ventilation. I haven't gone very far up branches yet, but it looks much cleaner now and I'm sure there's better air-flow. I'll see how she reacts over the next couple days and then do more if it looks like she's fine.

Hi folks,

Numbers:

pH: 6.25
PPM: 1000

Numbers are looking good. Didn't have to change anything today. Not much to update since trimming this afternoon, but here's another picture because she's pretty. The one large branch sticking up above the rest is the one that I broke a few days ago and is still healing at the base. Some scar tissue is forming and it is feeling much stronger now and looking good, so I'll probably be able to tuck it under in the next few days which will even out my canopy.

Have a good night, however you spend it!

Hiya,

Numbers:

pH: 6.1
PPM: 1150

Looking good, but my water level is getting a bit low. I'll probably do a flush tomorrow.

Nothing new other than that. Here's a picture. Tomorrow I'll take a photo before training as well so you can see how she's growing!

:) I haven't got it in yet, but I still plan on changing it out at some point.

Numbers for tonight:

pH: 5.5
PPM: 950

I flushed nutes tonight and used 3/4 strength flowering nutes this time to keep my PPM down for a few days (she's still recovering a bit from the high PPM after last flush).

The plant is looking really good. I did quite a bit more undergrowth trimming today to clean things up, make it easier to work under the screen, and most importantly allow little buds to get as much light as possible before flowering! I have taken off a few popcorn buds along the branches that are obviously not going to make it to the screen. I'll be doing this regularly as she flowers, I suppose.

Here are three pictures: One after a little pruning but before training, another after training and more cleanup, and a third of the plant structure.

@ piss (lol) - It's an autoflowering, they are smaller plants. Google "autoflowering cannabis" for more info

Really nice looking stem system you've got going, I'm subbed.
