fuk yeah man. i love all the different shades of green in the bud. what lighting are you using, because it works well. i think you have mentioned it before though.

I am useing a 1,000 watt HPS cooled light, and a 40 watt 8% UVB light.

I can not wait to see how this stuff taste once it is cured. Northern lights is known for not smelling very much at all. But it is starting to get a Skunky smell. I love that stink. I grabbed one of the buds in my hand before work the other day. I was smelling the buds for hours after that.

okay cool, thanks for the info. what are your feelings now of the uvb, worth it or not?

Not sure about the UVB light.. But i do think I will start useing it before i start flowering next time. Or at least right when i start flowering.

sweet looking ladies im growing NL aswell mine is still in the veg stage took one clone off it, ive also heard about UVB and its qualitys i use MV for my veg and HPS for flower the combination works well i also have been growing Purple Kush ive noticed that the NL naturaly grows bushyer, i took the one clone planning on terning it hermie and polinating itself and one Purple Kush i dont waste time sorting out males and female fem seed is just more efficient, but i have a question on your NL you said the stems turned like a purple color was this a result of over furtilizing? cuz i have seen the same symtoms

I am not sure. I have seen other strains have purple stems also. What ever it was, I am happy with what my plants have done.

Nirvana stated that NL does not have very much of a smell to it. Well they are really starting to get a nice sweet stinky smell to them. Not so much that I have to start freaking out over my neighbors smelling them though. But then again, I still have over a week to go until they get the AXE.

Took a few shots while they were sleeping today. The first shot shows the red hairs pretty well. I can not seem to get the lighting correct to show the true color and trichs. The third shot, is a close up of the top of the second shot.

I noticed in the third picture, those objects that looked like they might be seeds. I plucked one off and checkedit out under the magnifying glass. They are just the swollen areas where the seeds should be.. Wooooooo...... At least they better be... hehehe. I have seen them swell before, but not crack on the side like that. Most of them also have hairs coming out of them. What do you all think? I have never had a hermie before, i am figureing it should be comeing someday though. Guess I am just lucky.

Northern lights is not supposed to be a very strong smelling weed. But today when I walked into the room, I was so very pleased with that sweet spicey smell. I would love to rub my self in that smell. To make love to a woman that had this scent,, she would need medical treatment afterwards. DAM I LOVE THAT SMELL!!!

I HAVE WON THE BATTLE AGAINST THE WORST OF THE WORST!!!!

I even started this thread just to try and show that a guy can fuck things up bad, and bring that sweet baby home. The buds now all have sugar on them, not just some of them, and the Sugar is all of them....

If i could do this grow all over again.. I would do it EXACTLY the same.. Minus the Humbolt Counties BushMaster. But Bushmaster might have it place in a grow.. But not in mine.

hey Lord D,,looking nice ,,my buddy says that it is hermie,,those are swollen seed sacks,,keep an eye out for solid sacks,,not producing the hairs,,other than that he says you just may end up with a few seeds in it,,hope this helps

Well today is the day. I will be choping down one of my ladies tonight. Maybe two. I will hang them, and then tomorrow I will ccut another one. I will not be cutting them all in one day. This is an exciteing day. I love Harvest day. This time I will have harvest day for like 4-6 days in a row.. and a bonus harvest in about 2 weeks. SWEET!!!!
