To put it plain and simple. I use fox farm ocean Forest a d I don't add any nutes for the first 3 weeks. Every time you water you are releasing nutes to your baby. A plant that young simply cannot take that much that early. He says its not even 1%. That itself makes me laugh. He obviously doesnt know what hes talking about. Go back to your hydro buddy. Baaaahahaha

go ahead and listen to this guy
its ur choice
ur light schedule is fine
Read dude. It says coated slow release nitrogen. Explain to me exactly why this newborn plant needs any more than that. You can't because it doesn't need any more N. You've been a big help to this poor guy. Geez. Let the soil dry out. You'll see the green come back. I promise. Then repot in b
Soil without time release nutes. I'm not arguing with this dude no more. I'm not here to prove I'm jorge cervantes or to prove my dick is bigger.

if its slow release or not,,how long do u think a plant can live on .21-.07-.14?

ok so i asked on a different thread how dry dry the soil out faster.
One person said to put it out in the sun.
Another said to replace the wet soil with dry soil and the replant shock would be quickly overcome.

What says you?

your little plant looks like it needs more people to comment on what it needs. Then and only then will the real answer be revealed to thine own deserving eyes.

u should ask on that thread what the problem is with ur plant
Transplant it to better soil
hahahaha:lol:
its funny how someone hears mg and automatically assumes that is the problem, without looking into the facts of the particular problem

I think me and you are having the same problem. My little young one is a bit older than yours. But it sounds about the same. The lower leaves are looking really yellow and it's getting this rust looking spots on it.plantproblem 003.jpg

thanks a bunch moash, how would i go about gettin my baby some nitrogen?
I use Mircale-Gro plant food. It's really supposed to refill this thing that goes on your water hose, but I just emptied the bags so I can mix to what I see is fit. I usually use a the small scoop for a whole gallon. It's "Water Soluble All Purpose Plant Food by Miracle Gro." It's 24-8-16 24% Nitrogen (plenty of that) 8% Phosphate and 16% soluble potasssium. It works great. I have 12 babies and only one is acting funny. Good luck man

I've said it a thousand times before and i'll say it again. Your problem is your soil. There will be growers on here that will say, " i use miracle grow and look at my journal". Bla bla bla. For a newbie it sucks. You have to learn to use it. And then your dealing with chemicalz that release every time you water. Your babies cant handle it. You are burned my friend by the soil. Period
I disagree. I use Miracle-Gro and have always used it and with the Plant food I buy, it usually works out fine for me. It's a weed, used to grow naturally...it's not really hard.

yea rohan that looks exactly like mine does. today i scooped some of the wet dirt and replaced it with dry mg soil. its the only soil i had to use. it wasnt much, just maybe some off the top like
maybe a few inches. i figured it would help. did u keep on watering after u saw the yellow and brown areas?

im using mg soil, here in the uk, my plant has the same rusty brown spots, and also its getting rather bad, the new leaves are fine but i suppose thats because they havnt had time to get fuckd yet, but the lower leaves havve brown spots, and now they r turning very pale green in some areas, almost like the 'skin' of the leaf has been melted away, they r only 2 weeks old, but they seem to b pretty huge, im guessing that its made the most of the nutes and now its just fuckd. n e other uk growers here? cus i need to no what soil i can get to repot x

Hmmm. I guess its just a coincidence that all these people with the same problem are using miracle grow. Hmmm. When I started growing I used mg. Yes its possible to grow healthy plants in it. I'm not saying that. I did it myself numerous times. My point is this, then i'll shut my mouth. When a plant is young it doesnt drink that much water at all. So the soil stays moist for a week maybe longer all the while releasing nutes. Babies cant handle that. Why put all the time, risk and effort into growing your own just to put it in a $5 bag of soil from walmart when you can buy a 50 lb bag of fox farm for just $15 more. If you want to spend all your time watching your plants turn yellow and beating these forums to death trying to figure out whats wrong with your plant, knock yourself out. One love
