Made Me Some Honey Oil

Bought a butane honey oil extractor on E-bay. There were 2 choices on there and I got the one with a tripod. that came in very handy when filling with butane. The whole unit freezes and it takes a few minutes. I wouldn't want to hold it for that long.
I used 30 grams of some Fine Red Dragon bud ground up and dried well. packed the pipe loosely and put the rubber stopper back on and pounded it down good. Got three cans of 10 oz./300ml of butane. I put the unit in a pyrex baking pan and put that in a bigger pan with hot tap water to help evaporate the butane. used 2 and 1/2 cans.
This product worked like adverised. before you buy one look at this one and it would be easy to make yourself.
I got 5.4 grams of honey oil and by my calculations that is 18 % of the pot I put in. I have been told that this method gives you 99% pure THC. if this is correct my red dragon is some kickass dank.:weed: Any thoughts or comments on this??IMG_0545.jpgIMG_0546.jpgIMG_0548.jpg

looks beautiful! 99% is probably high though, most honey oils average 70-80% pure but thats still awesome! Nice work!

this is the honey u just drop on a bowl right? when i was in venice i saw they had bong attachments that you could smoke honey in. some had like heated glass thingys

i made some honey a couple of months back, with a bottle of isopropyl alchohol, same principles. altough i only used the trimmings from a friends grow it was amaizing only got a couple of grams but that coated every single rizzla in my pack, sooooooo BAKED.
