Pc grow 2nd week flowering chronic or hash, do i have a boy or a girl?

Chief, I have to ask. I am a CFL grower, and if I read right, you are using CFL'S too. Am I going to have to flower for 3 months before harvesting? Is that a basic time from for CFL'S? Any insight would be appreciated, I am on my first grow. Your plants do look nice for sure!

AllForIt, flowering all depends on the strains that you are trying to grow! some strains, such as Auto's go from seed to harvest in as little as 3 months whilst other flower for only 8 weeks and the flower period can go up from there! mate, what are you growin? whats ya strain? and you should post a few pics of ya grow space too mate! would be good to see your space!!!

I will definitely be growing in my pc case again and will make sure I do 12/12 from seed to ensure they don't outgrow the case. I will like to grow some true autos again because these auto blue mystics I'm growing now are huge (well over 2 feet tall) and just began flowering a week ago. I'm know you are going to enjoy growing in your pc case, make sure that light strip is very secure, I had those lights fall on my plants twice.

so are you looking at doing any more auto's in the grow case? when i grow all i am going to have is that pc grow case cause i got one coming from mr grow pro

Thanks for stopping in and the compliment Allforit, like my man Dan Nash said, it all depends on the strain you're growing. I'm growing a sativa strain and this strain has a long flowering time which I found out the hard way. I was growing in a pc case, so imagine my surprise and a 1st time grower at that! I was using the CFLs on Sassy and the Blue Mystics until they 1st outgrew the pc case then the closet, so I purchased a Tent 36Lx20w62h for $75.00 and a 150w HPS for $80 off eBay. They have been in the tent for about 2 weeks. I'm growing the clones and the RSH in the closet using 650w of CFLs. When you order your seeds check the flowering time then add 2 weeks to it. Flowering begin when the sex of the plant is determined. The lights you use determine what size buds you will get but it does not determine flowering time.

Chief, how do you reckon the 150w hps would go in the grow case? or are the fans not good enough to extract the heat put off by the light?

I really don't know but Crazytrain somehow rigged his pc case and have some serious lights in his. I know the 150w HPS would be too big for your pc case and you would need more fans for sure. Checkout Crazytrain's thread and ask him.

yeh CT has a 125w CFL or 150w cfl i forget but im pretty sure its the 125w cfl and he pulls off nice plump buds from his pc case

Hey NoNk0, thanks man, your low rider is looking good. I can't tell this was your 1st grow and in a pc case at that. I started both Sassy and the Blue Mystics in my pc case. Sassy is a sativa strain so she outgrow the case and the BMs were suppose to be autos, but turned out to be a bad batch and outgrow my pc case too. Can't wait for your harvest report.

I've been growing Sassy since May 22, 2010 and no one's first grow should be this long I'm seeing lots of red hairs on Sassy so I hope that means the end is near.
