how to Moving weight?

so say you grow a few pounds during a season. how the fuck do you go about locating someone with enough cabbage to buy all of it?

I would just try moving up the food chain from a small time dealer that i know, but that seems a lot shadier than i want to deal with.

It's all about who you know. Network. Don't make it seem like you're the guy.

You know a guy, who you can get this stuff to them for X. I think working up the ladder is a good way of going about it. You need to get plugged in to someone that can push it on the streets, who has the customer base, if you don't have one yourself.

I knew a guy who just kept his stuff curing and moved what he could when he could. It took 2 years or so, but he built up a pretty good reputation in Santa Cruz and "we" were moving over a QP per day at a point. Start small, self employ if at all possible, and always remember...

Find a kid that sells a lot of dimes tell him to contact his supplier give his supplier the #s you want either hell rob u kill u or make u rich

You won't be moving any type of 'weight' if you're not already connected with someone or have a huge clientele list. Personally, I would be cautious of someone I don't know who's offering to sell me pounds at a time.

if you dont know anyone to sell pounds to then why are you growing that much? this all seems much too risky to me. the more you move the higher the risk and that risk usually depends on who you are dealing with and who knows. maybe i am paranoid, but i dont think i would trust a stranger enough to sell them anything.

Always keep in mind the smaller you break it down the more $ you will make, but also the longer you will have to spend, and the more people you will have to deal with.

more time and smaller pieces = more people and more risk... the reason that this guy wants to move weight, is that while there is more risk with the one time deal, it is also very limited liability (lightening only needs to strike once, but you're only doing one deal at a time, presumably with someone who also has a large amount of risk involved as well... moving weight is far less risky than say: dealing dimes and nicks to college kids or other similarly risky deals times 100... it makes sense that one would want to do one big deal at a time, however: be careful... just because it is one big deal at a time doesn't mean there is no risk... just not the day in and day out grinding risk of street deals...

well said. this is why craigslist is a bad idea...think about it...even though its weed and not $$$ its still like meeting a stranger and telling them you have 3 grand on u...think about it!

what i think is crazy is theres hella people with ads on craigslist selling it in my area, they have pictures of it posted up with there cell phone numbers and everything, they deliver it to people all day, i guess. i mean i live in a med state but thats still a little too risky in my opinion.

im a newbie as well and lol i happen to be running into the exact issue the OP is talking about. i know more than a few people that smoke but not nearly enought to get off what i have, tough problem, i know:-P......anyways my plan is to just keep going by the ''if i, or someone i know, knows u'' moto, until this next batch 'Rocklock' is done then im gonna take it to dispenseries.

when i first got my medical card (im in a medical marijuana state) i went through craigslist to get meds instead of going to a dispensary (as i thought craigslist would be quality buds at better prices). this is before i started growing my own keep in mind.

i just went through add after add on craigslist and tried to find one with someone i felt comfortable enough with meeting...


i avoided certain things...like those who would say they have "kush" or "purple" or names that appeared to be made up as i figured this was just a dealer trying to take advantage of cl...its easy to spot those ads..."i have fire kush og dank" for 340 per zip" and all that bs.

i only went through one guy and he was very cool. never had a problem with him and he'd carry (9 times out of 10) some top shelf or at least grade A meds at affordable prices...his ounces never surpassed $250 even for the top of the line. and he'd have it low as $200 even.

i suspect he was a grower parting out his bud himself because after a few transactions he had me go to his house...or more like a street over as i'd always see him come running from the next street over...this made me believe he grew at home and didnt want me to know...

either way dude was straight forward everytime. never sold me something that wasnt what it was supposed to be.

however you do have to watch out because there are people there looking to rob you. i think you have to worry more if you're the one selling on CL as it would be easier for a robber to respond to your ad rather than post one of their own (since CL now requires an email/phone number on file that you must verify). however im sure some people dont care...im just saying...


and if the club wont take ur stuff i think you're best to part it out urself to other med patients...i did that with a half of something i only wanted 900 for and the clubs werent interested (they said 600 for half p!!! can u believe it?) so i parted it out at a big discount and still ended up with over double what i originally wanted. i honestly just wanted to take the half p to the club to get some money to cover electricity (my bills are about 600-800 to pay for the grow from start to finish) but since they gave me a hard time i just got into contact with medical card holders (most of which were friends or friends of friends) and just gave them a cool deal...everyone is happy.

those clubs are so full of it to begin with. they are out to give you the least they can and sell it for 3 times what they paid for it.

I'm just curious, I see all these accounts of truly massive grow ops and i was thinking to myself, how the fuck would you even be able to sell all that product.even just a couple of plants could potentially generate alot of pot. it just doesn't seem feasible to me.

plus the laws.. im in michigan so we just went legal for medical but most states that it is still ilegal in i do believe a qp is a whole new crime. try looking for someone that has oz's of good stuff for sale.. test his stuff, smoke some of yours with him and tell him you can get your sample for $$ per w/e you trying to move.. take it from there. 1, he is already selling so he prob aint a narc. 2, he is already selling so he has the clients and you can just go thru him and not see anyone else.. be pateint. Get too greedy too fast, get busted..
