How far above the top of the canopy is the light ?
Sometimes the stretch is them trying to get more light.

If any thing I've got the lights to close, I've got my 600w HPS around 6 inches from the canopy so I don't think it could be that, and if it is that I'd be reluctant to lower the lights anymore anyway. I don't know

So not much to report, the buds are starting to put some wieght on now, i reckon at the moment my biggest nugs are around 0.25-0.5g dry wieght (if that makes sense?). It is also gettin frosty in there aswell, my fingers are starting to get sticky.

Also I started to strip a PC down with a friend last night (He is goin to try a 1 plant LST grow). We looked at a 125w dual specrum CFL, Has anyone had any expirience with these dual spectrum bulbs? I love my 300w cfls for veg but i dont know about how good the dual spectrum bulbs are for both flower and veg? I said I'd chuck him a bean if i wasn't ready to give him a clone so he will probably be growing snow white either way. I think i might try to pursuade him to SCRoG instead of LST as it would be easy to manage. Also he wants to go dwc but the res would have to be quite deep to accommodate a net pot then, a 2" gap and then the nutes/water. So i was thinking of filling a 5" deep tray with hydroton then sitting a netpot half way dow the tray so its sitting on hydroton and then fill with nutes/water to around 1" deep and let the roots grow thru the hydroton to the nutes. Obviously there wont be no bubbles but it think he'd be alrite with that. Anyway here are a lot of pics, some good, some not so.

So I finnished converting the PC into a grow box for my friend yesterday and i'm quite happy with the finnished product. I had an old pc lying around so me and my mate stripped it out on saturday night, we took the motherboard, power supply hdd, floppy and CD drive out. We salvaged the fan off the CPU and that was it for that night, we tried to get the housing for the hdd/cd/floppy drive out but it was riveted in so we had to wait untill i was back at work to get a drill bit to drill the rivets out. So on monday i picked up one of the reflective car windscreen things and brought the tools home that i needed. Monday night i tried to drill out the rivets and it didnt work so i tried a couple of different methods of gettin the rivets out to no avail. then i tried banging the bottom of the rivet with a flat head screw driver and the rivets come straight out. I then went about lining the inside of the case with the reflective stuff sticking it to the case with a glue gun. Then i cut out for the fans and forgot that i should of run the wires under the reflective stuff so i ripped that up, run the wires then relaid the lining. I hooked the fans up to mobile pone chargers and they run like a treat. I have 2 smaller intake fans, one large outtake fan and a massive fan circulating the air in the case. Anyway heres som pics

So I fly out to Amsterdam half four thursday morning and all my friends are staying here tomorrow night so we can all leave together in the morning. I probably wont post tomorrow so this will be my last post before i come back on monday, although i might post some smoke reports while i'm over there if i get bored. I will give a smoke report on the best weed/hash on tuesday.

The grows going well, the growth has slowed right down now so i think they may of had an extended stretch period. More and more trichs spilling out everywhere and the buds are really piling on the pounds (or grams should i say?). So here are some pics to make up for update that would of been on sunday.

So i got back from the dam last night at around 11:30. 5 days of pure heaven. Smoked a lot of different weed and was stoned all the time so i cant really give an acurrate smoke report but my favourite was Jack Herer so i also bought some Jack Herer seeds whilst i was out there. I also thought Santa Maria tasted really nice but couldn't find the seeds anywhere so i will have to find them online. Pinapple Express is a really nice smoke too. I didn't rate any of the haze's, Amnesia/lemon/silver/super silver, they were quite harsh on the throat. Also i didn't like any hash either and thought it tasted to much like the 'soapbar' stuff i used to smoke as a kid. We stayed at The Greenhuse Effect hotel/bar/coffeshop and was more then happy with our stay there. You get 10% off at the bar/coffeshop including weed. You also get a VIP area reserved for hotel guests.

So i come back to my grow and fuck me is there some noticable growth. The nugs are really starting to put the wieght on. It looks like jack frost has been has been staying in my tent while i've been away, there are trichs everywhere. I'll upload some pics later today, I think i've got a bout of tonsillitis coming on and i feel like shit and do not have the energy to get out of bed.

Also I've started those JH seeds. They are in the paper towel ontop of my snapping turtle tank to keep the beans warm. Done some research into greenhouse seeds last night and did not like what i read. Not heard good things but we will see what happens ( should learn my lesson). Also the genetics of GHS JH(Haze x Red Skunk and mainly indica) is not the same as sensi seeds JH ( i'm sure NL#5 is in there somewhere) and there is only 1 indica pheno out of 4 different pheno's (so its mainly a sativa strain) but the JH i smoked in amsterdam was listed as an indica. So i'm hoping i'll be growing what i was smoking in the dam. I'm going to start a new thread for my new grow (see sig) but i will carry on this thread right upto the smoke report.

So I've finally managed to motivate my baked arse to post an update. The buds have packed on the wieght and are loooking very fat. The canopy just gets more and more frosty as the days go on. Cant wait to chop in 2 weeks exactly, gonna dry and cure untill new years eve (obviously have a cheeky 1/4 for xmas) and I'm gonna start smoking it then. My other grow is starting to take off now i want to keep it separate to this so check the sig. Here's the peep show

So today is the day i took on the task of flushing my DWC tanks. I pulled the plants and then scrubbed and scrubbed the nute residue off the side of the res's. This is a laborious task that took over an hour. I wanted to make sure there was not any nutes left in the tank so i could get my ppm's down to the lowest they could be. Harvest in 10 days time.
