thats alot rasta m, these girls are looking so good!! a week and a half and they go in there final big pot. cant wait, LoL.
day 17 and everything looks great, i made some changes to the lights, since i was only using 2 bulbs in the veg box, i took a bulb and a Y and put them in the flowering box to give me 9 bulbs and 3 bulbs in the veg box, 2 6500k and 1 2700k. im gonna work on the fans now, i havent had time to do this so i'll get it done today. the 2 new fans will go in the veg box and the 2 in there now will go into the flower box, kinda of a bummer tho, i only have 4 12v wires for 6 fans, gonna have to do some rigging here to make it all work.

GROW NOTES:
10-29/4 pm, The seeds are here!! I'm going to get the things I need at Lowe's, and WalMart to start the grow in just a little bit. First up will be the Blue Mataro and the Medical Collection Afghan Kush x White Widow. I plan to start germinating them later tonight.
10 pm, I put 2 of the seeds into a wet paper towel with a few drops of the ortho seed strater mixed in some rain water i had left.
10-30/10 pm, 24 hours and no sign of taproots yet, i will check in the morning. i did go and get the jungle growth soil at lowes tonight.
10-31/4 pm, ok, everything is setup and ready, things are rollin along now!! i got the soil, $5 at lowes for a 1 CF bag. all the stuff in the one pic, bulbs, Y's and timer from home depot, $29. soil is in the pots, and the seeds are still germing, but the kushwidow is in the lead with a little white shoot just starting to pop out. the veg box is ready with 4 bulbs, fans running, timer set to 18/6 and pots setup with of course, the world famous gravity fed water system. i took 1 of the 6500k bulbs from the flower box and put it with 2 i bought, 5 minutes later, it was out. it some cheap ass bulb the city gave out free. so the veg box has 2 2700k and 2 6500k's in there and 7 2700k and 1 6500k in the flowering box, the 10 bulb deal will have to wait a little longer till i get some more Y's and a couple more bulbs. i cant wait to see green sprouts pop up!!! i still need to get the fox farm trio, so i might have to veg with the jacks classic all purpose 20-20-20. i have no problem using this for vegging as that part has always worked great, nice big bushy plants in 15 days. its just the flowering stage i worry about. i dont want to use the line up i have been using. more later.
7:30 pm, im hoping to put the seeds in the soil in the morning, they should both be ready by then. nothing from the blue mataro yet tho, but the kushwidow is showing a little more now, in the pic, you can just see the tail popping out the bottom. i hope the blue seed is good?! it will be 48 hours at 10 pm, so i think there right on track. wait till you see these girls in about 15 days, there gonna be bushy little bitches, im gonna top them at about day 10 or 12, and then they'll really take off. well, they stll have to go in the dirt first.
11-1/6 pm, well, not much to report yet, but atleast i can see some progress with the blue mataro. the shell has cracked and started to open, the kushwidow is still just showing the little tail, maybe tomorrow they'll both be ready for the soil, lets hope!! im also gonna use molasses on this grow, heres a link to grandma's molasses and it has a $1 off coupon. didnt work.
11-2/9 am, im still waiting, its been 81 hours right now, still nothing from the blue?? just the cracked shell. might have to put the kushwidow in later today by itself. ive always done it this way with the wet paper towels and never had any problems, im starting to get a little worried now, it has never taken this long. the kushwidow has a tail sticking out, so i think it will go in later today, but im sweatin on this blue mataro.
12 noon, i am putting them straight into the soil, these are 1 time grows, no clones and no mother plants, if they turn out ok, ill just get more seeds if the strains are good. still just the little tail out of the kushwidow and just the crack on the shell of the blue mataro. if i put them in the soil now, do i still leave the lights off for now and just wet the soil down to get it moist.
1:15 pm, the beans are in the soil, lets see if this goes any better. i fluffed the soil up where the beans would go and mixed in some worm castings, i made holes about a 1/2 inch deep, lightly covered them with loose soil and then watered them and put them under the lights, man i hope this works.
7:30 pm, still nothing yet, i just watered them again to keep the soil moist. i added the 8" fan on medium in front of the passive intake to help keep the heat down, when there were only 2 bulbs it was ok. with the 4 bulbs, its getting up into the 90's. with the door cracked open, its in the high 80's and the soil dries up quick. man, i hope i see something popping up soon or im gonna be pissed. tonight at 10 pm will be 96 hours since i started them in the paper towels. i'll just be so happy when i see these things start to break ground.10 pm, man im scared right now, i hope this happens, ive used the paper towel every time and it worked fine also. i dont know why it didnt this time but we'll see what happens now that there in the soil. the temp is down to 91 with the door closed.
well, went to walmart, they had 1 jar of grandma's, $2.24, the $1 off coupon didnt work. i was get water and a gallon of milk, but then i looked at shoes and they had a killer pair for $18, so i put the milk and water back cause i only had $22. i put the 1/2 inch of cardboard in the left shoe and man what a difference, i can almost walk right, much better!! the 5th will be 9 months since i busted up my hip and knee and atleast im walking again. some of you might remember what happened, i got thrown out of a golf cart at 30 mph at the race track back in feb. so, thats the story on the shoes, LoL. which led to me to start growin and finding this site when i had so much time just layin around.

11-4/9:30 pm, wooo hooo, pics of of the new grow, dont the babies look awesome, thats the blue mataro in the first pic and the kushwidow in the second, man this is gonna be some killer shit. i cannot believe this, 6 days and still nothing!! this just blows!! i should have just joined treeZ and thrown some bag seeds in party cups. now im not sure about germing the kandykush and rocklock, if they dont work, i pissed away $52 for nothing. sorry guys, im so disapointed.
10:30 pm, i just moved the soil around and theres nothing happening, the seeds look the same as they did when i put them in the soil 3 days ago, except now the tail is gone from the kushwidow, now i really dont know what to do. i bet i could throw 2 bag seeds in that soil and they would probably pop within a few days, this sucks. now i dont know if i should germ the other 2 seeds with a paper towel or just put them straight into the soil, gonna sleep on it and decide in the morning. my hope now is that atleast 1 of these other 2 pop and i can get some clones maybe, fuck!!!!!
12 pm, well, i guess these 2 seeds are just no good, they germed for 3 day and have been in the soil for 3 days and nothing. they just dont look like there gonna grow, i mean the tail is gone off the KW and the blue did nothing but crack the shell, it just dont look good. so i put the rocklock and the kandy kush in to germinate at 11 pm, im using the wet paper towel again. its the only way i ever germinated seeds and has never failed me till now. i thought it would be so easy since i was getting good seeds and in a couple days i would have some nice little green bushy girls. i'll leave the other 2 in the soil just in case until i see what these 2 new ones do. in the pic, look how small the KK is, but it does have good color and markings. well, lets hope again.
11-5/11:45 pm, good news!!! i put the rocklock and kandy kush in the wet paper towel last night at 11 pm and i just got home from working on the race car and BAM, both have 1/8" tails already in just 24 hours, dam you dont know how good that made me feel. they should both be ready to go in the soil mid day tomorrow, i'll put a couple pics up when they do. the othe 2 in the soil, nothing, man i really wanted that blue mataro, but the rocklock should be just as good.
11-6/1 pm, RockLock is in the Soil, well, this is what i just found just now, taproot gone wild on the rocklock!!!!! just 36 hours, so, in the soil she went, now the kushwreck, thats a different story. she still has a very short tail, so i'll wait till i get back from the races tonight to see how see how shes doing. if it still short, i guess i will put her in any ways. i dug a small hole in the middle of the jungle growth soil and put a small amount of hyponics soil i had left to fill the hole, its just a lot fluffier. then i gently put rocky in the hole and covered her up, lets all do the a prayer to the mariuana gods. i took the blue and kushwidow out of the soil and put them back in their bags, so disapointed with those 2. i'll wait till tonight and put it in regaurdless and hope for the best, atleast the rocklock is on its way. and i really hope this kushwreck makes it.
11-7/3 am, the kushwreck is in the soil, when i just got home, she had a nice ass tail stickin out. so, in the soil she went. the 2 girls will only be about 12 hours apart. now im really pumped and cant wait till i see green popping up.
5:30 pm, well rocky is up and out of the soil!! i moved the soil off her a little while ago and now she's popping up. choo choo, isnt far behind as i can just see the seed again, should be up and out by late tonight or tomorrow morning so today will officially day 1 for both plants.
11-8/4 pm, day 2, well good news, both girls are up and out. choo choo popped up over night and rocky spread out and opened up, there on there way now. im fixing to write to herbies now to see if they'll do anything about the other 2 seeds, i'll let you all know. heres a couple pics. the last pic is of the empty seed shells i put back in their bags.
11:30 pm, tap water ph test, ok, i just tested a gallon of tap water and the ph was just about 8. i started out with 10 drops of ph down and then did 10 drops at a time and it took 40 drops to get it at 6.6. i have plenty of ph down, so i guess i will use tap water. anyone have any thoughts on this?
11-9/2:30 pm, its day 3 for the little ones and there coming along nicely. choo choo is a little behind rocky but im sure in a few days there will be no difference.
my veg box ranges from a low of 73 up to 86 and the humidity is 20 to 30% right now. lights off, low temp, high humidity. lights on, high temp, low humidity. which is to low for vegging. it went down to 46 here over night and the humidity was high, about 70%. now its 71 and the humidity is less than 30%. kinda like in the box. with the lights on, the humidity goes way down, with them off, it goes up. i just put a pie pan full of water in there to see if i can raise the humidity some.
3 pm, just checked, i put a pie pan full of water in there and the dam humidity is down to 16%, wtf? it was 23% before i did it, guess thats why im not a weather man.
11-10/3 pm, day 4 and the little ones are doing great. the soil has nutes in it and ive been watering them with rain water with 1 tspn of molasses mixed in a gallon jug, they look real happy. the temp is right at 86 and the humidity is 25%, last night it went to about 75 and 35%, its all good.
11-11/4 pm, well here we are at day 5 and things are still looking great, i just watered them with plain water. there next watering will be at week 1 saturday morning before we go racing and they will get a very mild mix of nutes and goodies, 1 tspn of molasses, a light sprinkle of 1-0-0 worm castings on the soil, just a touch of jacks classis all purpose 20-20-20, 3 drops of schultz 10-15-10 and 3 drops of GH floragrow 2-1-6 all mixed in a gallon jug of ph'ed tap water. then we'll see if these babies take off. i'll be sure to check ph again after i mix up my jug of super helter skelter grow all nute juice. this sholud get me through till i get the fox farm trio. the nute mix ph'ed at 6.4 to 6.6, that should work. i'll wait a week before i start with that mix and just give them water.
11-12/2:30 pm, its day 6 and the sprouts are looking great, bright green and healthy. choo choo is still just a little smaller than rocky. i gave them 1 shot of that nute mix just to see what it does and will go with plain water for a while. well, no nutes today, my boy wont get our checks till tomorrow, so i wont get paid till sunday and i hope to order the fox farm trio on monday. the humidity is up to 41% now in the veg box.
11-14/4 pm, day 8. they seem a little behind my bag seed grows but are still healthy looking.
5 pm, i was just looking back at pics from my other grows and they all a litttle ahead of these 2. heres old bean, new bean, 1-1, 2-1, and molly all at 8 days, all bag seeds, and all females except old bean. the only difference up to this point is the soil, i really think the scott's hyponics is some good stuff.
11-15/1 pm, day 9 and the plants are looking very happy today. there getting bigger, soon they wont need a booster box and i'll turn on all 4 bulbs. the pan of water seems to be working good as the humidity is between mid 30's to low 40's. you can see in the pic the way the air is drawn across the pan and up over the plants. temps are running at 82/84. everything is going great. my plans are to put 4 - 4 footers, one in each corner of the box. or maybe just 2 footers at plant level in each corner for side lighting. that should work with the 10 bulb fixture hanging from the top. biggest factor being heat. im gonna have to think about it, i really want some side lighting this time in the flowering box, i'll figure something out.
11-16/2 pm, day 10 for the girls, choo choo is still lagging behind rocky a little but all is looking good. man, the temps are such a battle, its going up to 90 sometimes in the box and thats only with the 2 bulbs on. humidity is good at just over 40%. im working on the temps but i really dont know what to do. im still giving them just ph'ed water for now.
3:30 pm, its 83 in the house right now and my sister wont turn the air on, she says well your room stays hot cause of the boxes, so im more or less fucked right now. i took the fan out and it only has the 2 80mm fans sucking air out and its still stayin at 90, so still not sure what to do.
11-17/1 am, ok, being the ghetto master i am, heres what i just threw together with shit i had layin around. 3" inlet at the window, pipe was just the right lenght and didnt even have to cut it. elbow down to the floor and reduced to 2" cause thats all i had. a couple more elbows and small pieces of pipe and BAM!! right into the box. im gonna get a 2" to 3" elbow tomorrow and put an 80mm fan on it to suck the cool outside air into the box. i was using that 1 sitting in the box for the exhaust but when i fucked with it to put it on the pipe, it quit working of course. so then i took 1 out of the side of the flowering box and used it and now both are running on a full 12v each. i also went on ebay and ordered 2 more 80mm'sb for just $7.22 shipped. the temp is still at 86 but im sure ill get a couple more degrees when i put the fan on the end of that pipe. i got only about a quart of relly clean rain water and i mixed in a few drops of the schultz 10-15-10 and fed the girls just to see how they take to it.
2 pm, heres the girls today, day 11. there looking strong and its getting close to do some topping on rocky. i put just a few drops of the schultz all purpose in about a quart of fresh rain water i got last night, just till i get the dam fox farm trio,
6 pm, its working but not as good as i would like. when the temps drop a little more, it will be ok. its 77 outside and its 88 in the box, i'll figure it all out sooner or later. heres the fan on the end of the pipe, i still need to try it on the other end and see which way works best.
i went to home depot to get the elbow, while i was there i did some looking at the T5 light fixtures, they arent cheap, all of them come with bulbs but they dont have a cord. i looked at the 2 footers and 3 footers in a single and double bulbs. thats 14 vs 21 watts, and double that for the 2 bulb deal. all came with soft white bulbs but they do sell bright white, there all between 6 to $10 each. they also had a 120 watt and a 300 watt cfl's.
i also looked at the MG african violet soil mix, this stuff really looks good for growing pot, it has mild nutes and its ph'ed between 6 to 6.8.
7 pm, its getting there, 86 degress, makes me a little happier, i hooked the fan up to a 12v wire, so all 3 fans are running at full speed now, had to steal 2 fans from the flower box, but the 2 new ones should be here soon and they'll go in the veg box and i'll put the other 2 back in the flower box. the temp outside is 72 and when i started writing this the box was 86 and now its down to 84!! its heading in the right direction, YES!! i cant wait till its in the 50's and 60's to see what i can get it down to. high 70's would be awesome.
11-18/1 pm, well, heres the girls at day 12. everything is going great and im gonna top or F.I.M. rocky as soon as the next set of leaves pop up. the temp is down to 82 and thats great, humidity is right around 40% so all is going good.
12 midnight, so i just got home and looked in on the babies and the temps down to 77 with the lights on, man this is great!!
11-19/3 pm, its day 13 for the girls and evertything is looking great. temps are down, 73 at lights off and only 84 during the day and as low as 77 at night. when i got home last night, i clipped the tips off the 4th set of leaves just starting to come up, i think i got just right, we'll see how it works. the timing with work out perfect with picking venus next friday, then the new girls will go into the flower box but still be on 18/6 till december 4th. then i'll flip the lights to 12/12, that will be 1 month of veg, and 8 or 9 weeks of flowering, its getting good.
6 pm, just looked in on the new girls and everything is going great with these 2 new plants. the kandy kush a.k.a. kushwreck is just a little behind the rocklock which is looking very sexy after getting clipped. temps are great in the veg box with a high of 84 and down to 73 last night in the dark, just great!! i gave those girls some rain water with a few drops of schultz all purpose 10-15-10, they're loving it. checked the run off water and it was 6.4, perfect. oh and i did sprinkle the soil with the some worm casting.
11-20/5 pm, heres the girls at 2 weeks old today. these babies are looking awesome!!
7 pm, shes really taking off, cant wait to feed them this shit. the fox farm trio is ordered!! $48.98 shipped for 3 qrts! it should be here by the end of the week. and i got the 2 new 80mm fans for the veg box in the mail today. those were just $7.22 shipped. ebay is great!!
11-21/5 pm, heres the girls at day 15, everything is looking great. tonoight when i get back i will snipped the new growth off choo choo, the 4th set is just starting to pop up.
10 pm, i have really high hopes for this grow, its all going great so far. i just clipped the 4th set of leaves on choo choo, hoping for 4 or more new shoots. heres the pics. the temp is 82 and the humidity is at 46%, all looks great.
11-22/5 pm, its day 16, i have now fimmed both plants so we'll see wnat happens next.
6 pm, on the jungle growth soil, i have no problem with it at all, maybe add a little perlite to it, i watered yesterday and the soil is still damp, not sure if thats good or bad. but you cant beat it for $7 for a big ass bag.

12 pm, well, i guess these 2 seeds are just no good, they germed for 3 day and have been in the soil for 3 days and nothing. they just dont look like there gonna grow, i mean the tail is gone off the KW and the blue did nothing but crack the shell, it just dont look good. so i put the rocklock and the kandy kush in to germinate at 11 pm, im using the wet paper towel again. its the only way i ever germinated seeds and has never failed me till now. i thought it would be so easy since i was getting good seeds and in a couple days i would have some nice little green bushy girls. i'll leave the other 2 in the soil just in case until i see what these 2 new ones do. in the pic, look how small the KK is, but it does have good color and markings. well, lets hope again.
11-5/11:45 pm, good news!!! i put the rocklock and kandy kush in the wet paper towel last night at 11 pm and i just got home from working on the race car and BAM, both have 1/8" tails already in just 24 hours, dam you dont know how good that made me feel. they should both be ready to go in the soil mid day tomorrow, i'll put a couple pics up when they do. the othe 2 in the soil, nothing, man i really wanted that blue mataro, but the rocklock should be just as good.
11-6/1 pm, RockLock is in the Soil, well, this is what i just found just now, taproot gone wild on the rocklock!!!!! just 36 hours, so, in the soil she went, now the kushwreck, thats a different story. she still has a very short tail, so i'll wait till i get back from the races tonight to see how see how shes doing. if it still short, i guess i will put her in any ways. i dug a small hole in the middle of the jungle growth soil and put a small amount of hyponics soil i had left to fill the hole, its just a lot fluffier. then i gently put rocky in the hole and covered her up, lets all do the a prayer to the mariuana gods. i took the blue and kushwidow out of the soil and put them back in their bags, so disapointed with those 2. i'll wait till tonight and put it in regaurdless and hope for the best, atleast the rocklock is on its way. and i really hope this kushwreck makes it.
11-7/3 am, the kushwreck is in the soil, when i just got home, she had a nice ass tail stickin out. so, in the soil she went. the 2 girls will only be about 12 hours apart. now im really pumped and cant wait till i see green popping up.
5:30 pm, well rocky is up and out of the soil!! i moved the soil off her a little while ago and now she's popping up. choo choo, isnt far behind as i can just see the seed again, should be up and out by late tonight or tomorrow morning so today will officially day 1 for both plants.
11-8/4 pm, day 2, well good news, both girls are up and out. choo choo popped up over night and rocky spread out and opened up, there on there way now. im fixing to write to herbies now to see if they'll do anything about the other 2 seeds, i'll let you all know. heres a couple pics. the last pic is of the empty seed shells i put back in their bags.
11:30 pm, tap water ph test, ok, i just tested a gallon of tap water and the ph was just about 8. i started out with 10 drops of ph down and then did 10 drops at a time and it took 40 drops to get it at 6.6. i have plenty of ph down, so i guess i will use tap water. anyone have any thoughts on this?
11-9/2:30 pm, its day 3 for the little ones and there coming along nicely. choo choo is a little behind rocky but im sure in a few days there will be no difference.
my veg box ranges from a low of 73 up to 86 and the humidity is 20 to 30% right now. lights off, low temp, high humidity. lights on, high temp, low humidity. which is to low for vegging. it went down to 46 here over night and the humidity was high, about 70%. now its 71 and the humidity is less than 30%. kinda like in the box. with the lights on, the humidity goes way down, with them off, it goes up. i just put a pie pan full of water in there to see if i can raise the humidity some.
3 pm, just checked, i put a pie pan full of water in there and the dam humidity is down to 16%, wtf? it was 23% before i did it, guess thats why im not a weather man.
11-10/3 pm, day 4 and the little ones are doing great. the soil has nutes in it and ive been watering them with rain water with 1 tspn of molasses mixed in a gallon jug, they look real happy. the temp is right at 86 and the humidity is 25%, last night it went to about 75 and 35%, its all good.
11-11/4 pm, well here we are at day 5 and things are still looking great, i just watered them with plain water. there next watering will be at week 1 saturday morning before we go racing and they will get a very mild mix of nutes and goodies, 1 tspn of molasses, a light sprinkle of 1-0-0 worm castings on the soil, just a touch of jacks classis all purpose 20-20-20, 3 drops of schultz 10-15-10 and 3 drops of GH floragrow 2-1-6 all mixed in a gallon jug of ph'ed tap water. then we'll see if these babies take off. i'll be sure to check ph again after i mix up my jug of super helter skelter grow all nute juice. this sholud get me through till i get the fox farm trio. the nute mix ph'ed at 6.4 to 6.6, that should work. i'll wait a week before i start with that mix and just give them water.
11-12/2:30 pm, its day 6 and the sprouts are looking great, bright green and healthy. choo choo is still just a little smaller than rocky. i gave them 1 shot of that nute mix just to see what it does and will go with plain water for a while. well, no nutes today, my boy wont get our checks till tomorrow, so i wont get paid till sunday and i hope to order the fox farm trio on monday. the humidity is up to 41% now in the veg box.
11-14/4 pm, day 8. they seem a little behind my bag seed grows but are still healthy looking.
5 pm, i was just looking back at pics from my other grows and they all a litttle ahead of these 2. heres old bean, new bean, 1-1, 2-1, and molly all at 8 days, all bag seeds, and all females except old bean. the only difference up to this point is the soil, i really think the scott's hyponics is some good stuff.
11-15/1 pm, day 9 and the plants are looking very happy today. there getting bigger, soon they wont need a booster box and i'll turn on all 4 bulbs. the pan of water seems to be working good as the humidity is between mid 30's to low 40's. you can see in the pic the way the air is drawn across the pan and up over the plants. temps are running at 82/84. everything is going great. my plans are to put 4 - 4 footers, one in each corner of the box. or maybe just 2 footers at plant level in each corner for side lighting. that should work with the 10 bulb fixture hanging from the top. biggest factor being heat. im gonna have to think about it, i really want some side lighting this time in the flowering box, i'll figure something out.
11-16/2 pm, day 10 for the girls, choo choo is still lagging behind rocky a little but all is looking good. man, the temps are such a battle, its going up to 90 sometimes in the box and thats only with the 2 bulbs on. humidity is good at just over 40%. im working on the temps but i really dont know what to do. im still giving them just ph'ed water for now.
3:30 pm, its 83 in the house right now and my sister wont turn the air on, she says well your room stays hot cause of the boxes, so im more or less fucked right now. i took the fan out and it only has the 2 80mm fans sucking air out and its still stayin at 90, so still not sure what to do.
11-17/1 am, ok, being the ghetto master i am, heres what i just threw together with shit i had layin around. 3" inlet at the window, pipe was just the right lenght and didnt even have to cut it. elbow down to the floor and reduced to 2" cause thats all i had. a couple more elbows and small pieces of pipe and BAM!! right into the box. im gonna get a 2" to 3" elbow tomorrow and put an 80mm fan on it to suck the cool outside air into the box. i was using that 1 sitting in the box for the exhaust but when i fucked with it to put it on the pipe, it quit working of course. so then i took 1 out of the side of the flowering box and used it and now both are running on a full 12v each. i also went on ebay and ordered 2 more 80mm'sb for just $7.22 shipped. the temp is still at 86 but im sure ill get a couple more degrees when i put the fan on the end of that pipe. i got only about a quart of relly clean rain water and i mixed in a few drops of the schultz 10-15-10 and fed the girls just to see how they take to it.
2 pm, heres the girls today, day 11. there looking strong and its getting close to do some topping on rocky. i put just a few drops of the schultz all purpose in about a quart of fresh rain water i got last night, just till i get the dam fox farm trio,
6 pm, its working but not as good as i would like. when the temps drop a little more, it will be ok. its 77 outside and its 88 in the box, i'll figure it all out sooner or later. heres the fan on the end of the pipe, i still need to try it on the other end and see which way works best.
i went to home depot to get the elbow, while i was there i did some looking at the T5 light fixtures, they arent cheap, all of them come with bulbs but they dont have a cord. i looked at the 2 footers and 3 footers in a single and double bulbs. thats 14 vs 21 watts, and double that for the 2 bulb deal. all came with soft white bulbs but they do sell bright white, there all between 6 to $10 each. they also had a 120 watt and a 300 watt cfl's.
i also looked at the MG african violet soil mix, this stuff really looks good for growing pot, it has mild nutes and its ph'ed between 6 to 6.8.
7 pm, its getting there, 86 degress, makes me a little happier, i hooked the fan up to a 12v wire, so all 3 fans are running at full speed now, had to steal 2 fans from the flower box, but the 2 new ones should be here soon and they'll go in the veg box and i'll put the other 2 back in the flower box. the temp outside is 72 and when i started writing this the box was 86 and now its down to 84!! its heading in the right direction, YES!! i cant wait till its in the 50's and 60's to see what i can get it down to. high 70's would be awesome.
11-18/1 pm, well, heres the girls at day 12. everything is going great and im gonna top or F.I.M. rocky as soon as the next set of leaves pop up. the temp is down to 82 and thats great, humidity is right around 40% so all is going good.
12 midnight, so i just got home and looked in on the babies and the temps down to 77 with the lights on, man this is great!!
11-19/3 pm, its day 13 for the girls and evertything is looking great. temps are down, 73 at lights off and only 84 during the day and as low as 77 at night. when i got home last night, i clipped the tips off the 4th set of leaves just starting to come up, i think i got just right, we'll see how it works. the timing with work out perfect with picking venus next friday, then the new girls will go into the flower box but still be on 18/6 till december 4th. then i'll flip the lights to 12/12, that will be 1 month of veg, and 8 or 9 weeks of flowering, its getting good.
6 pm, just looked in on the new girls and everything is going great with these 2 new plants. the kandy kush a.k.a. kushwreck is just a little behind the rocklock which is looking very sexy after getting clipped. temps are great in the veg box with a high of 84 and down to 73 last night in the dark, just great!! i gave those girls some rain water with a few drops of schultz all purpose 10-15-10, they're loving it. checked the run off water and it was 6.4, perfect. oh and i did sprinkle the soil with the some worm casting.
11-20/5 pm, heres the girls at 2 weeks old today. these babies are looking awesome!!
7 pm, shes really taking off, cant wait to feed them this shit. the fox farm trio is ordered!! $48.98 shipped for 3 qrts! it should be here by the end of the week. and i got the 2 new 80mm fans for the veg box in the mail today. those were just $7.22 shipped. ebay is great!!
11-21/5 pm, heres the girls at day 15, everything is looking great. tonoight when i get back i will snipped the new growth off choo choo, the 4th set is just starting to pop up.
10 pm, i have really high hopes for this grow, its all going great so far. i just clipped the 4th set of leaves on choo choo, hoping for 4 or more new shoots. heres the pics. the temp is 82 and the humidity is at 46%, all looks great.
11-22/5 pm, its day 16, i have now fimmed both plants so we'll see wnat happens next.
6 pm, on the jungle growth soil, i have no problem with it at all, maybe add a little perlite to it, i watered yesterday and the soil is still damp, not sure if thats good or bad. but you cant beat it for $7 for a big ass bag.
11-23/4 pm, day 17 and everything looks great, i made some changes to the lights, since i was only using 2 bulbs in the veg box, i took a bulb and a Y and put them in the flowering box to give me 9 bulbs and 3 bulbs in the veg box, 2 6500k and 1 2700k. im gonna work on the fans now, i havent had time to do this so i'll get it done today. the 2 new fans will go in the veg box and the 2 in there now will go into the flower box, kinda of a bummer tho, i only have 4 12v wires for 6 fans, gonna have to do some rigging here to make it all work.

well both boxes are done, all the fans are running again. all of those little fans for both boxes run off one $13 12v computer supply from ebay, thats a total of 7 fans plus the 2 elctric fans in the flower box. the temps up a little in the veg box from having that soft white bulb on, its goes up like 4 degrees from just that one 2700k bulb. i might just use the 2 bright whites for vegging to help keep the temp down under 86. i painted the air intake at the window flat black for that stealth look, LoL.

you know though, i feel like an idiot for not seeing this sooner, but your temp/humidity meter has the sensor on the front. so when it faces your lights it is registering the radiant heat, not just the air temperature. your plants can withstand more radiant heat than a steady high air temperature, this of course depends on the fans circulating the air well. spin the meter around in different positions and see what it does.

well, heres the girls on their 18th day, they are now legal in the state of florida, LoL. these 2 are looking great, im gonna give them a drink in a little bit. i tried the 3 bulb deal but when i moved them around, they started leaning back towards the bright white bulb, so im just gonna use those 2 till they go into the flower box.

I would go Full strength BigBloom and 1/2 strength GrowBig!! Bump up the grow big once you see your girls are taking it in without problems. Just basically follow that FF feeding chart to a T and you will be good. I add a little more tiger bloom to my girls once they get some thick buds going. I'll be checking back in to see if you got it later!
