Haha, micro man good idea! Your girl is looking really nice. I think you'll get quite a satisfactory crop once she finishes up. I will indeed be cutting the screen. My goal for this grow is of course the elusive 2 oz mark, so put up your dukes!
Okay guys, I finalized my future plans and started ordering things tonight. Needless to say I'm pretty pumped, so I thought I'd go over a rough outline of my plan from here on out. I have a closet that is deep enough to easily fit a GrowLab GL40 grow tent (16"W x 16"D x 47"H) into which I'll put a 150W HPS and a 4Gal DWC reservoir. This is by no means a large grow tent, and really isn't a whole lot more room than I have right now, but it will give me slightly more square footage (1.8sq ft, still under 2 which I think is a good cutoff for truly "micro" grows) and over a foot more headroom.
I'll have this set up by mid/late December, by which time my Barney's Farm LSD seeds should have arrived in the mail. I'll start one LSD in the new grow tent as a test grow to see how long I need to veg to fill out a ScrOG and maximize headroom without burning. Currently I'm planning ~4 weeks veg, ~8 weeks flower, so about 12 weeks per plant. A couple months from now when this new Easy Ryder is finishing up, my first LSD should be well into flower in the GL40. After I chop the Easy Ryder, I'll start another LSD in my PC system. From this point forward, I plan on using my PC as a clone/veg box, where cuttings and/or seedlings will spend four weeks vegging while the previous grow is finishing up in the tent. After the plant fills the PC case and the tent LSD is chopped, I'll transfer the PC LSD to the compatible DWC system in the tent. This method will allow for some overlap and achieve optimal harvest times (on par with or faster than autos). Theoretically I'll also be able to more than double my yield. I read a 150W HPS DWC ScrOG journal in which the grower achieved a harvest of 3.5oz dry in a very similar space as what I'll be working with.
I also have an old PC case that I used to run as a linux server box but is now cluttering up my closet. I'll be converting this into a mother box. It'll just be a simple grow case with a couple CFLs to maintain a small mother in soil from which I can take a cutting or two every eight weeks.

Feel free to critique, etc. I'm not entirely sure how much space LSD takes up in the first 3-5 weeks of veg, but that's one variable I'm really not set on yet. If I manage to veg for only two or three weeks, I could potentially shorten my harvest time down to every 5-6 weeks instead of every 8 weeks. I'm not sure how much this will affect harvest though (how much veg will be needed to fill up the 16"x16" screen?). I'm also not sure I could contain a flowering photoperiod plant in my PC case for more than a week or two. If anyone has any insight into these types of questions, please pipe up!
