thats a bit high to dry at. i usually see 30% RH when im drying.

Be careful of mold, if the humidity is too high, the plant wont dry well.

Thx JP sorta thought 50%ish was too high...I'm trying to get my hands on a mini dehumidifier locally but not looking so good so probably off the net here tomorrow.

i am also drying in around 50 percent humidity (but im a newb and dont know what i am doing!) do you guys think i should leave the door open to the drying closet, so the humidity stays down? even if it lets light in on the buds? i dont really see another way to dehumidify

Mine worked out at around 50%. I left mine in the bathroom with the exaust fan on 24/7 with another oscilating fan blowing on them on low. After 3 days most of the smaller nugs were dry to the touch and another 12 hours the bigger denser nugs were ready too. I periodically turned the lights on when I had use the bathroom but not for an extended amount of time. I would personally just leave the closet closed and keep them out of the light. If it helps to open the door maybe use a blanket or something to keep the light to a minimum. I'm no expert but just some suggestions.
