oh i was thinking they were just those circle tomatoes screens. I have one of those and was going to give it a wirl, they have little sticks to hold it up, but now that i look at my plants i think it would make them to big and i would lose to much space.

lol I have no idea but they work great. I just cut them down because i had 8 plnats, I didnt have to use them on the BBs. The full size woul be killer on a big plant. I would like to grow 4 big ass plants in that tent...hmmmm, my mind never sleeps lol

Thinking ahead for about 8 months from now. Want to run at least a 30 amp...about 30-35 ft long total maybe? 240 or 120v would work either way. 10-2 for 120 or 10-3 for 240 should be sufficient for 30a rite?

ya 10 is fine for 30, i would go 240v its so much nicer having the ability to have 4 1000w on a single 30amp breaker and still have room for fans and other things.

Thats great you can go smaller, that saves $$$ but if you allready have the 10-2 wire you can run 120v 30 amp up to 90'. At 40' total length 12-2 is fine for 30 amp at 120v and at 40' 240v you can use 14-3 for 30 amp. This will make sure there is no votage drop at your equipment...

I wanted to run 100' so to have a 30 amp I need 8-2 and that is $$$$ so thats out lol

wow.. nice few pages of info/pics. that sharkbreak looked pretty cool man.. even with the yellowing colored leaves. hope my sharksbreath comes out with the buds lookin like that! looks awesome! =D my full moon clone is growing out of control!!! lol. its wayyyyy too big. idk wat to do with it... i think im gonna have to flower it.. maybe even 2day.. its huge already. cant wait to grow that BB too. =) and the big bud. im hopin for a male from the BB so i can make sum seeds of my own.

The yellow on the lower fan leaves was from me FnUp with the nutes. That pic was harvest day. Fade is good at the end of flower means the plant is using up all the stored sugars and stuff in the leaves...crispy is not...pluss leting the temps drop at night gets you the colors...heres some bud shots...

Fed the 40oz and put them in the tent and dual arc...they stayed droopy for several ours, not normal, until I cut the ballast back first to 600 then to 400 and after about 8 hours they perked up and some had grown an inch by morning. I think with the watering and the brighter light they just need to catch thier breath...

Stayed like this for HOURS! But then Whalah!!!

I wonder why mine don't droop on transplant like that? Maybe the hydroton allows more O2 to the roots so they handle it better. All droop not caused by underwatering is caused by lack of o2 to the roots.

Thanks SG15, I am getting excited just thinking about flower. Another week or 2. Just want more height. Going to up pot to 3 gal fot flower. I cant wait! lol

I think your right, it was mainly because I just watered them in combo with the light intesity. They are sucking the water up I put 40oz in the 2 gal pot every other day...some of the smaller ones get less. I go by the weight. Thats all I can come up with. Just grow and learn right SG!!!

i have never measured how much i water, i just usually make a gallon and split it between two gallon pots, i just water slowly til i see drainage. ps. im ready to see ya flower too

They are lovin the light...Ready for another watering today. I hate to see what they are going to drink in flower. They seem to be very HAPPY! Here is a few shots from this morning. LS grew over an inch in like 18 hours YIKES! lol Im interested to see how big they get in flower. With this topping technique might be able to put 16 in here without crowding them together too much for my taste.

I water / feed them again and they did the same droopy dance. After doing some research and reading a couple of UB's threads I think I am overwatering the little bitches...lol have some leaf spots / curled tips going on on a couple of them witch was described as a symptom of overwatering. Once they dry out they perk right up but it takes s few hours and me turning down the light. Every time I put the light closer than 24" they seem to pout...I thought I had a feel for the dry weight of the pots but I must have been wrong. So Im going to watch them close today, they feel light again, watch for signs of thirst, calibrate my feel again and and use less water...

The lemon skunk is 14" it has grown 4" in 2 days...the others have grown 2-3". If my dumb ass dont F'm up they might turn out to be killer! lol I cant hepit! I tend to push things...

Oh and those 3 gal root pots are much smaller than the smart pot 3 gal...they are about the same size as the 2 gal smart pot only like 1/2" in diameter wider. wtf????
Have to go pick up some 3 gal smart pots at the hydro store. I will transplant tomorrow getting ready for flower. I had planned to start flower today but will up pot and wait til next monday. Hopefully they will all be between 16" to 18" tall by them. They would be closer if I could control my hose!!! lol

Sounds like a plan, they look pretty healthy anyway though. What soil did you use? Maybe consider adding some additional perlite to the mix next time for increased air retention.

I have been using only FFOF. This grow I am using 2/3 FFOF and 1/3 FFLW. I was going to add FF chunky perlite too but all they had was a freakin huge ass bag...I think the Light Warrior is holding more water than Im use to...drowning the poor girls!!! Damit Son! lol

Im changing to subcools super soil next grow or when I get the funds. Need to make it now because the SS has to sit for 60 days...I have viewed several SS jornals and I LIKE what I see. The SS mix last the whole grow with adding watering only...

Basic clone dome, tray, 1.5" tappered rw plugs, soaked in Dutch Master APS, used clonex but knocked the shit over and didnt get to coat them as much as I like, seed mat heater. Dont know the temps but its warm. Have a towel under to hold the heat, the cups hold the T5 up to reduce heat. just check often, keep misted when dry, just been lucky, all tops are doing well SLH2 is strugglin abit...

They are one week old today...I topped on the 23rd...

UPDATE...DO NOT USE CLONEX (cloning gel) WITH Dutch Master APS!!! More is not always better. I did it again, had great results with just APS in the rockwool, thought if I added clonex it would really ROCK! Wrong...

This past tuesday was 14 days...WTF no roots coming from rockwool???? They were mostly green, some leaves turning yellow, reaching for the light, I could see a couple of little roots poking out the top. But there was a slit up the stem, it was swolen, little white knots like the roots were growing but back up inside the stem???? so I pulled one apart, looked the same all the way down, just a knot of white root bumps that was spliting the stalk and not growing out... all the tops where like that and the others were just starting to, anyway I threw them in the trash and went to the hydro store yesterday. They said NEVER mix root gel with APS.... something about the chemical reaction between the two srews up the roots...No SHIT! lol oh well just grow and learn...just thought I would share so someone else doesnt make the same mistake...since I was bragging how quick and simple my cloneing was.

I was ticked and threw them away...sorry I didnt think about pics until it was too late...

UPDATE on ROOT POTS...I up-potted from 2 gal to 3 gal last night, 5 smart pots and 4 root pots, in my bathroom, man what a mess, lol, and although the smart pot 3 gal does hold more soil, the roots pots are close, they hold a lot more soil than I thought by looking at them. So bottom line is I am ok with them. They are 1/2 the price....

I was ruff as hell with them, could not help it. The roots attach to the sides and a few of them had roots growing through the bottom 2 -3" long. I used my long thin scissors to run around the sides to break it loose and I had to grip the bottom edge of the pot with my fingures and pull while pushing on the center with my palm to tear it loose. The other hand I held the plant between my fingures and had to pull....I thought man they are going to be in SHOCK for a week...Didnt fucking faze them... I could not beleive it. I had to be forcefull to get them apart. I gave them 20oz of water. A couple, the finiky WW, LS and BK4, were a little droopy nut not much, the others didnt even flinch!!!! 4 of them I added Roots Organic to try it out. They hydro shop had a bag someone ordered and didnt pick up. I only had enough OF for 4 of them. This morning they looked perky and after 7 hours light this morning the are LOVIN IT!!! See for yourself. Snaped a couple pics...Tallest is over 15" and will start flower on Monday at the latest...
