That's what i do, It's not 100% pure kief but still amazing to smoke. I place a quarter in my weed chamber to help break up the frozen weed. then i shake the hell outta it. Unpressed i get one hit per pipe load so its best to press it to make it burn longer.

theyre not expensive... you could just make a sifter real easy though... essentially a screen that you shake your buds on... only particles as small as trichs can pass though the screen if the screen is the right size...

The shaker box I recently acquired was pretty shottily made.... I got it for like $5 bucks I think.. It's just some balsa wood glued together with a screen mesh in the middle... really super cheap but works a charm

I have yet to see one on here...there might be an old one around somewhere.

By kiefbox you mean a simple sifter to filter out crystal/trichomes?

All you really need is some silk screen mesh or aluminum mesh....About a 75 micron opening works best for maximum trichome recovery. I think in silk-screening they go by a mesh #. For 75 microns, i think its like a #200 mesh.

man...i work in the plastic industry. we use screen packs in extruders. these packs have various mesh aluminum screen layers stacked on top of each other. i cant believe i didnt realize this. i could easily pull a 200 mesh screen outta one of those.

This is the shakerbox I have, no I didn't make it... but someone made it by hand....

Literally make a little wooden frame, glue the mesh to the inside... and create a lid and a base and voila... If you own a band-saw or a scroll saw and buy a couple sheets of balsa wood you could have one made in less than 20 minutes.

And yeah!!! Should be getting that hash today... except I don't have as much money as I did a few days ago... so I won't be able to get the full ounce (splitting with a friend) :finger: but oh well. I'll post back when I get it... about 1.5 hours

So I did get that hash, yee niggaz... It's super soft, and really pliable... and SMELLS so stanky... fuck its good shit!! It was .5 short... but he wanted $205 for it and we only had $200 bucks so...

Anyway enjoy the pics...
