I am a new patient in SE Portland looking for a reliable grower who can help me out. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

try the local MJ clinics, they almost always have a post board of people looking for patients. just be care full and meat a few and stuff before you let them be your grower. alot of growers are stingy and charge out the ass. if you look around and mabye have a small interview with some to see who fits your needs the best. i went through about 30-40 different growers cuz i wanted to find the right one. and i did i found a grower with dank meds, had a qp for me at the time i made him my grower, got a qp every month in the summer and then received what was mine at the end of summer and he didnt charge me at all

from what iv learned in the process is that growing is expensive!!! i don't understand why people think its ok to get something for nothing. i have no problem helping people out but there are serious costs associated with growing plain and simple. if you don't believe me then set up a grow and find out how expensive it is. sure there is a lot of bad apples just like in any other industry but when you get a good one understand that this is not a cheap thing to do and just help out. im sure you can work something out that works for both of you. i understand everyone is going through a hard time but everyone also includes the growers.

There's not that much upfront costs, if you plan out the grow room before hand. Sloppy preperation can be a headache for you and your wallet.
You can get a 600W HPS, seeds, Fan, Carbon filter, nutes, and growing supplies all for less than $1K. With that setup you can easily grow 6 plants and get a LB every 3 months.

Thank you! You are so fucking right! I have told my patients that if they are not happy pay my bills, or grow it yourself and have fun along the way. All these people feel like it is so cut and dry like going outdoors. I have a full time job so I am not trying to make a killing but everything involved cost $$. People just don't get it.

i dont think a grower should ever ask for money, if one ever asked me for cash i would stop them from being my grower and not give them a dime, now if they do a good job and supply me with good meds then at the end i will donate to the grower cuz he did such a good job and was so nice and on time with every thing.
MOST growers are in it for the cash right now even if they say their not cuz it all leads back to them wanting cash

purple i noticed you say a grower did grow for you. if you ever came to me with that attitude i would laugh at your face and tell you to get the hell out of my sight before i **** **u* ***. where do you get off saying if a grower did this and a grower did that then i would maybe possibly think about paying some change but probably would'nt pay ****. I bet you don't tip when you go to a restaurant either. your the guy that every waiter/waiteress hates. you think people owe you and they don't. why don't you grow for me and i won't pay you jack. give me a qp right away and then a qp every month and then more because im special. then mayyybbeee i'll think of paying you some chump change for all your hard work. or not.

sounds like you got a shity deal on your end and are butt hurt. i get off saying i wont pay unless they say what they will do cuz i am not going to pay for shit meds, and not very much and especially if it is not on time. since he did a great job though he did get payed.
and i usually dont tip a waiter or waitress unless they provide good service witch most now days do not. i do not think any one owes me. but when a grower is growing six plants and easly gets 6 pounds or more and only gives theri patient 1 pound that is bullshit and the patient should not pay, cuz what the fuck is the grower doing with the rest? and this is what my grower offered not what i asked of him, so it was him who set how much i get,when and for free.
im sorry every one is so mad at me cuz i got a great grower for myself.
it seems like this whole oregon threads are nothing but arguing about ogf and hating on me cuz i got a free grower

I get my stuff at a reasonable price but I am also my own grower! I wont give shit away for free, there is way to much money that goes into it to give freebies! You get what you pay for! But all these people who don't grow don't understand and it is a waste of breath to debate the issue.

it does cost to grow i know this.
But when some one is growing for you and lets say promises 3 pounds at the end of harvest, but you know that 6 out door plants can produce way more then that and i know my growers plants produce much more then 3 pounds. I do not know for sure what he does with all the extra and i dont care i got what was mine. Now most growers do this and keep alot for them selfs and then turn around and sell to other meds patients and non patients.

I do give my OD stuff away, those are just for play! I understand about the side work, How long have you been growing or purchasing bud? I am sure it was before the cards started coming around. I know I was scared to become 1 of the statics. I don't give a shit what other people do with their bud, but if you want what I got it isn't free. So since you get your amount that you want why do you care about were the other shit goes, poor guy has to make his money back some how since you want yours for free!! If a grower wants to give his shit away I will step inline for charity... I remember getting shit ass shake for cheap as a kid, but the good shit cost $.

This is whats funny about OMMP people..When you ask any of them to donate for meds they call you a blackmarket drug dealer...when you ask them to help with grow cost none want to help,and say well you grow lots more then you gave me..so then its ok to sale the exter to cover the cost you asked them to pay..so its ok to be a blckmarket drug dealer as long as its their cost you are covering,but ask any of them to help cover the cost and they all sound like purple..

i did help him cover the costs because he did what he said he would do. and i do not know if he sells the extra or not, what im saying is most growers do.
