Im still swimming in untrimmed branches though... if thats what you meant by wet.... sorry about lagging on the pictures.... there really is SO MUCH that has been going on in mine and my families lives the last couple months..... hopefully I can get some posted soon....

Maui Skunk X Blueberry (stoneymontanas)
History-
I grew the blueberry Outdoors in the spring/summer of 09. I grew the Maui Skunk Indoors in the winter of 09. Pictures and commentary of both are in previous journals.

This Year-
This plant was started in the early spring, and was put outside in late May. I didn't get it into a box until halfway through June or into july. It grew out wonderfully, bulky and dense. Put out pink pistils early on, and then white towards the end. Just one plant of this strain was grown, no other seeds were made.

Harvest Report-
Most of this plant was stolen. And it was still harvested a week and a half early! 2/3 of it was stolen I would say, and I still yielded a little over a lb. Still got some 8-10" solid colas (solid as in there are NO breaks betweens nuggets, no open spaces). I pulled as many fan leaves as I could as I cut the branches off (was only able to harvest Lower 1/3 of the plant), and then it hung dry in a greenhouse outdoors. Still have a bunch of this to trim actually. Didn't get to start trimming it until after the Sensi Star, Purple Kush, CCxHJ, and CCxJS had been mostly trimmed (still have nuggets of all those to trim too, lol). Once in the jar though, that familiar Skunk shit out of a pineapple smell permeates out of the jars :).

Smoke Report-
Taking a rip, its sweet and smooth going in. There is a warm sourness to the taste as well. Not really earthy, or bitter, but mellow. Then on the exhale you taste the sour a little bit more, stinging the nostrils just slightly, and can taste a warm skunk smoke coming out of your mouth. The high lasts about an hour and a half (for me), and creeps the first ten minutes, then it wraps you like a warm comforting blanket, allowing me to relax, focus and accomplish goals, increases good vibes and feelings, and get the mild munchies. Two rips gets you high. 4 or more and your RIPPED. a bowl smokes a good while, and just a little black and grey ash remains at the bottom.

Ratings-

The pure Maui Skunk plant was completely stolen, sorry no pics or report. It still hurts. I have no more maui skunk, or blueberry maui skunk. :evil:
This plant had the potential to get 10 out of 10 in every category, had proper care and conditions occurred.

ChemoCindy X Hi Jack
History-
Both Chemo Cindy and Hi Jack were bred by riu stoner grower breeders, :D. I have grown Chemo Cindy both indoors and outdoors in the past, but never grown Hi Jack.

This Year-
I had two plants of this strain this year meshed into the solid wall of plants that made up the center isle. One was certainly better than the other. Unfortunately the better one is pretty much smoked and given away, and I only have pics of the other one. But that doesn't mean this isn't quality. Both phenos displayed different structures in the plant and buds, both smelled slightly different, but they had similar traits as well. The both grew extremely fast, tripled size in flower, and yielded heavily. They both smoke similarly, but don't necessarily stone you the same way. None of this strain was stolen.

Harvest Report-
Harvested along with the Sensi Star, Jacks Surprise X Hi Jack, and the first nggh plant. This was hung dry in a greenhouse and trimmed over three weeks, and then stored in rubbermaid bins and is still being trimmed to this day. Total yield between the 2 plants is 4 lb.'s so far and what looks like one more to come, so about 5 total. As you can tell, this was not particularly trimmed up to my usual standard. But then again nothing at the end of this season was up to my standard. I honestly let a lot of things go and just let it be.

Smoke Report-
As you light it and smoke it, the taste starts out like a sour lemon, but soon sweetens until you finish drawing it in. If you try to hold it in for awhile, it expands and you cough cough, tasting a bit bitter sour on the way out. If you let it out slowly and smoothly, it stings your nostrils just a tiny bit, but otherwise is hot and sour. One plant is uppity, the other more drop you on your ass. Neither creep, both are imediate in relation to the hits you take. Three tokes and im high, 5 or more and im pretty high, a whole bowl gets me baked, and thats when I like to watch tv and eat ravenously, yep its a big munchie strain. I noticed when I smoke it in the evennings it really couch locks me, :).

Ratings-
Look- 6 out of 10 (7 when trimmed better, 10 when harvested properly)
Smell- 5 out of 10 for one plant 10 out of 10 for the other
Taste- 7 out of 10
Stone- 6 out of 10
overall- 6 out of 10

Note-
I don't think I have anymore seeds for this strain, though there is some original CC I think I still have access to :). These plants could have been significantly better had the end of the season gone better, :/

Purple Kush
History-
I have been growing this strain for years. Its all over my previous journals. This strain is clone only.

This Year-
I started my Purple Kush plants early this year. Tended them inside until mid May. The almost went into flower, but swung away from it. I put more PK in my garden this year then anything else (accept nggh perhaps). MOST of my purple Kush was stolen. I still yielded 7 lbs total (1 whole plant, 1 half plant, and the remains of the other two.), though more than half went to patients, and there is still what looks to be a 1/2 lb to be trimmed. about 15-17 lb.'s of this strain was stolen (the bulk of what was stolen).

Harvest-
Nothing about the end of this outdoor season went according to plan. Whoever ripped the garden is certainly not into growing herb. They ripped off most of the PK when it still had a little over a month to go!! I harvested it a few weeks early myself. It hung in a wood shed to dry, and was trimmed very slowly over a period of time. I highly stress that it is these kinds of conditions that will adversely affect the bag appeal of the harvest. The comparison you will be seeing is enough proof of that. My Harvesting, Drying, Trimming, and Curing process this year greatly degraded the final outcome (in my pot prick opinion). It could have been better, has been better before, and will be better again :).

Smoke Report-
For the smoke report I defer to the smoke reports of years past. Nothing has changed. Maybe a bit more sour this year. Just as stoney as ever, :).

Ratings-
typically this strain is about 10 all across the board.

Note-
I was able to get most of the plant in the first pic, and got maybe a couple grams off the big PK tall (2nd pic). There is much much more PK to come ;). I just need to get my shit situated.

Sensi Star
History-
After growing and loving this strain for years, I have no more. The person that got clones let them die. Sad Sad thing. maybe be priviledged enough to find some more some time.

This Year-
For some reason, and I can't quite remember why.... I only had this one Sensi Star this year. It was very foolish of me to only have the one, and more foolish to not have made sure to clone it myself. It was about 4 ft I think** when I put it out?? maybe 3. It did beautifully of course. Its the house favorite, and yielded over 3 lbs. Its all gone save for about an ounce that I have still yet to be trimmed (where the bud pics came from, I trimmed up a little bit, its been sitting for quite a while now, almost forgotten).


Harvest-
This years harvest was supposed to be staggered by strain. And based on the development of the plants in the climate they were in, it would have worked out perfectly. Circumstances in my own life cause bulk harvests, as well as not the greatest drying and trimming conditions. The same goes for the Sensi Star (sadly). Though she still smokes, tastes, and stones just like she always has.

Smoke Report & Rating
Again I defer to years before, though more sour and couch lock then before.

She has always been my favorite. I feel like I have lost a loved one in not having the strain anymore. nothing more to be said.

This bud came from a sister plant to my Purple Kush SR-71. It was a clone I gave to a friend, their first time growing it. It looked almost identical to mine when it was on the plant, but obviously fairly different after harvest. This showing how much of a difference the harvesting drying trimming and curing processes actually makes. My friend did a very good job! :).

Man, there are so many different kinds going around..... its like being in a weed tornado!

I have a hard time going back and reading through it all. This year has quite possibly been the most difficult and confusingly regressive in my entire life. Were I single, the failures and horrible befallings of the year wouldn't matter so much, and moving on would be incredibly simple. Im not though.... so now, my family must endure along with me on this unknown road of fear and pain, suffering in their innocence. Of course I feel like its all my fault, and I must have done something wrong somewhere. I don't know what though, and am highly critical of my past actions and activities. And everything that is going on in the rest of the world is not encouraging either. I feel a wave of terror at the pains people are facing, and going through, and how many people are in similar or worse positions than myself. Most, I am sure, have similar stories to my own as well, but their own of course. So many empty houses and vacant lots, so many homeless and jobless families, with every will and desire to earn their own good living, spiralling down in the cyclone of our society. We live in a time that nor supply or demand is truly at issue, but more the system of intercourse between the two, and how we measure ourselves in the world.

At this point I don't honestly see myself with much of a garden this upcoming year. I feel I would be stoked for a small one at this point, with enough to provide for smoke for myself for a year. As much as I love to grow, I don't have the resources in direct sight. The tower I wrote about not a couple of months ago has certainly crashed around me. My world has been shattered, and I am cutting myself on the pieces remaining, trying desperately to piece anything resembling a decent life back together.

But I have more than hope. For hope I do possess, I will carry on, and I do have choice. And it is in the power of choice and free will, that I may continue on with a smile, knowing what I have in this world that can never be taken from me, that it exists inside of me, and is me. There are good people in this world, and maybe we will get some help. Not a handout, more like opportunities. Opportunity that is real, and won't fuck me and my family over in the end. I know that I will do whatever it takes to achieve those realistic dreams I have, and that I should, in all rights, get there someday.

So whatever garden I do have, I am sure I will share. But as to how, or when or where..... who knows everything is up in the air. Life will show me my way, as surely as it has always done, every day. So with tears in my eyes I make the choice to smile..... and hope that people feel the tender love.

Glad to see you ended up with something, life's plans don't always accomadate our wants but she'll supply our needs. That friend has some bunk stuff, jk Good job Treeman.
