Scrogging da pineapple.

Hello and welcome to my first attempt at a journal here on the forum. Id like to take a minute to thank all the multiple threads and journals I have read through here for all the useful information I have gathered as well as all the ideas and helpful members around the site. This is my 4th grow attempt.

Here are a few details about my grow:

1.) I will be running TWO different strains. here is the lineup.
1x 3 gallon Magus Genetics MOTAVATION
1x 3 gallon Barneys Farm PINEAPPLE CHUNK
15x 1 gallon Barneys Farm PINEAPPLE CHUNK CLONES

I got these beans back when Attitude was doing there "biggest promotion yet" or whatever and I received 7 free seeds, after a few weeks of temptation n finally getting my Pineapple Chunk mother plant going I asked my buddy which bean I should try to start with from the 7 and he chose this one....looks like a winner to me

The 3 gallon Pineapple Chunk was originally my mother plant, But due to some space restrictions within my area(the thing was out of control even after tying it down several times) I have no choice but to flower her. I took clones off her for months before this attempt, all of which I can say to this day I have never lost a clone. Ive had cloning success with my simple DIY bubble cloner as well as DipNGrow and RapidRooter starting plugs under a humidity dome. I will explain how I clone later in the journal with pictures.

2.) Secret Jardin DR120 (4x4 tent)
3.) 400wHPS 6" aircooled SunSystem Blockbuster (covers a 4x4 area)
4.) ill be using the General Organics line up as well as some hygrozyme and Bat Guano tea which ill be brewing up myself.
5.) I use Plant Warrior growing containers.
6.)I used floros and floros only to grow out all that you will see here before there adventure under the 400w.
7.)I put everything you see in the tent on 18/6 for 1week before switching to 12/12.

The 3 gallon Pineapple Chunk is what I am scrogging. The screen was constructed of a simple kids soccer net frame and some twine that i had lying around the house. the screen is approximately 33"x33". ten tied peices of twine on one side, and ten on the other. i have it suspended from the top of my tent with more twine. heres a few pics of her from the 13th of september and the most recent was October 17th.

How is the smell and flavor on the pineapple? Does it taste very pineapple?

I dont know if it tastes very much like pineapple but it definitely has a sweet, almost lime like smell when dried and cured. all I know is that when you open up the jar it is like heaven.

And here is Magus Genetics Motavation 1st pic is from 9/19/10 the second is from 10/17/10, grown under 4ft floros. I started this seed on the July 17th.

I use a 13 site DIY bubble cloner. Its a 10 gallon cloner. I use one capful of Hygrozyme per round of clones and havent lost a clone yet, they root every time in about 7-9 days. once they all root I keep them in there for an additional week to get atleast a handful of roots. If theres not a handful I just transplant them with what theyve got. I do not worry about PH or PPM.

Heres the after transplant pictures, theres 20 in the pictures but I only ended up with 15.. FoxFarms Happy Frog soil/perlite mix. 1 gallon Plant Warriors.

The first two pictures are from 12/13/10. This is when I started a week of 18/6 for the 15 clones. the last 4 pictures are showing how out of control my 3 gallon pineapple chunk mother was. She was then put into flower after taking 13 final cuts from her on 12/20/10.

And heres mommas Babies after 1wk of 18/6 and 1 week into 12/12. This is a really stretchy strain. You can notice the difference dramatically in size after just 2 weeks.

Heres Magus Genetics Motavation after 1wk of 12/12. still short and bushy, she looks amazing. managed to get 2 clones off her as well, both rooted

And here are the 2 Motavation clones that I managed to get to root, and yes that is a seedling sticking out of one. I have no idea how this happened?? I am puzzled. What should I do? remove the seedling or let it grow?

Thought I would share some pictures on my last Pineapple Chunk harvest, I only got to run 4 clones of this last time, But I got a little over 1oz and a 1/2 between them all. I am excited to see the end results of 15 of them. These 4 were no where near as big as the ones I have now either. I keep the PH at 6.3 for this strain and I maxed the PPM out at 989, I probably could have gone higher. The last 3 pictures show root-ball formations from my Plant Warrior containers.
