I can't.
I really have nothing to compare my Kessil lights to and I'm not likely to be buying others so I can compare.
Maybe I just bought into all the hype about the lights being the only LEDs developed specifically for horticulture when every other LED uses generic LED bulbs - some bigger and brighter but just bog-standard LEDs.
My first grow has suffered badly at my hands but is developing nicely with dense compact buds.
I can't even compare the plant to others as it is my first knowledgable grow.
I have sampled the plant as it is growing, but I can't campare the smoke with other smokes - before this plant I hadn't smoked for 5 years (and I'm still waiting to get truely wasted).
So basically, I can't back up anything I say about LEDs and may as well be talking out of my ass ... which I may actually be doing.
PS. I think I am talking shit, I sampled the Red Dragon an hour ago and fuck ... that is going to be a great smoke when it is ready.

After seeing your pix, It's apparent your problem stems from your Kessils being much to close to your plants. I'm just now learning how best to manage these lights, and I've learned the hard way. The light from Kessil LEDs is deceptively intense, and too close will set things back.
I'd lose the CFLs, they are unnecessary.

Thanks, KMan, but it's early in my learning curve. I've learned just enough to know that the controversy deserves a more level playing field than the LED haters would have us believe.
Even though there are success stories, durability remains an issue that only time will resolve. So far, there's no reason to think that slowly but surely LED technology won't will restore its reputation as a viable grow platform, yet this IS the frontier.

Cannot answer your question completely budlove909 but my last grow was a hybrid grow with 300W LED and 400W T5. It most certainly did produce huge dense potent buds.

had to go recheck the forums first pic was 120w and second pic with the closet full was a few 150w units im happy with what my 90w is doin so far

I can assure you that Kessils can match that pic. Just don't let them get too close.

Yea thats a good point. But with everything I have heard on LEDs im ready to give them a try for sure. I was thinking about getting a Pro-Grow 180 (Selective Switch) and maybe a Kessil to go along with it because they seem to be great, but i would go with 2 kessils if only they had the selective switch. Something about having the control to change the lighting seems so appealing to me, I just gotta try it out.

I suggest you try the ProGrow and see if it is all you need. If you hang a panel like that with a Kessil, at the same distance from the foliage, you might have some problems. If you raise the Kessil up to a safer level, the panel might block the Kessils light. It depends on what you have in mind for a set-up . I'm just saying the panel can be much closer to the foliage, for optimal performance.

my veg area is really cold now that i have eliminated all hid lighting, i am considering running the hid exhaust from my flower chamber into veg chamber in order to bring some heat in

Sooooo just for the record... I am one week into flowering with my blackstar 240watt and beginning my eighth week flowering overall and it seems to me these lights kick ass. I got big chunky buds popping of the sides of these girls. I cant wait to about 10 more days and Im gonna start chopping

How big is your grow? I think I'd start with the smaller panel, and add another if I liked it.

My Grow with LEDs hasent started yet. But the space that I am going to use for it will be roughly 5' (56") by 2'. I am going to have an aero grow and have a minimum of 6 plants but very possibly more.

get you a 300w that is rectangular like the common 120w just longer so it will cover that area better 10 square feet 300w led you should be good to go
