They have those at HomeDepot and Lowes , but only up to 16" round . Found that one at a local nursery . Most nurserys around here have a section for indoor gardens .

I moved the next gurl up to flowering . She is another Pineapple Express .
They all got feed last night too. Top dressed with Peace of MInd 5-5-5 and high P bat guano . Gave them 1000 ppm Age Old liquid bloom ,Liquid Karma ,and Protek Silicone supplement .

Thats the heaviest feeding I have done to date , they look happy this morning ,hope they liked that feeding . They are sucking up some moisture looks like I,m on a 4 day cycle right now . I could get 3 days using a heating pad under the pot ,but I only got one so 4 is good .

how does that screen work? I have seen that on the site but I thought they were higher up. What does putting it so low achieve?

Lucky man! Every garden store around here pretty much sucks, and the nearest indoor garden store is 500miles haha... I depend on hardware stores too much.

Beautiful plant bro...the ones are at Home Depot are 16" but do they have 2" Squares for a screen or 1" squares? I need to get one of those immediately if it is 16". I have a plant I want to veg and fill it up and then figure out when to flower for the stretch. Looks impressive, damn I want to try that bucket ScroG...

Peace

Your thread is rocking with awesome info!!!! I am learning lots watching!!!

These screens have at least 2-3 in squares but you could get some rod and weave in your own custom size ? I decided to go with the screen because I was growing out the bucket and needed somthing bigger around to fan her out wide . I got 9 or10 good heads popping up and many small ones it worked good . Will be waiting to try it on the rest of them , I want to see if it's worth it after harvest. 20in screen is 8 bucks .
and yeah 16" was the largest at home depot
And thanks bekindbud , it's a blast for sure !

I was at the Nursery yesterday and discovered that today is a class on Indoor Organic gardening . I think I will be checking this out ,but probaly already read everthing they are going to teach .This nursery does cater to MMJ growers so I think it will be cannabis based teachings without saying so . you know " tomatoes " or " foilage " I hate it when people ask , I was looking at mason jars at walmart the other day and some lady asked me what I was canning , I was stumped like a deer in the headlights . I think it was my girl who spoke up and said vegetables . LOL

Ikea believe it or not has better deals on Mason jars...I understand the feeling or stumpness, why do people buy mason jars...cure weed or jar jam or jelly i think...LOL Have fun at the class, sounds educational, even if it is tomatoes base driven I am sure you will get something out of it. I am going to Home Depot to check out one of those bucket screens. I did some research on ScroG style and it seems its all about timing when to flip the switch for flowering so you can have a full screen for a nice stretch with many colas..seems you got it down bro. Cant wait to see that bucket in 2 weeks. Looks amazing now but is only going to get better.

Peace

When doing LST at some point you end up at that point where you are limited to the diameter of the pot in terms of attachment points for tying the plant down .Granted the plant over all will be bigger in diameter than the pot but your still limited .

By adding the screen which is 20" in diameter you have many more options for fanning out your heads wider , easyier than tying branches down , easyier for height control , cleaner ideally no growth under neath etc could go on .I must mention I keep my plants portable and with this screen its ideal .That plant is bigger round than the 20" screen now ,the middle of the plant is exsposed allowing " mini heads" to get light and become normal sized .Doing this I,m going to fill an area with 3 plants ,that i filled with 6 before .

EDIT : It simply has 3 stakes that go into your pot . I need mine as low as possible , I'm trying to save space for 1 and # 2 I,m flowering with a 250w and I want it as close to the plant as possible,250w diminishes in a shorter distance than the norm 400w .
LOL realized I did'nt really answer your questions just was blah, blah, blah

Damn I've heard of backwoods , but sounds like your waybackwoods , LOL , I bet it's nice though ! Look online at grow supply sites and look in height management , I believe I have seen them online . The first time I saw them it was in a magazine IDR which one but it was about that kid Jacob that has cancer or somthing sorry CRS , anyways he was allowed a MMJ license for extenuating circumstances and in his garden he had 2 plants with these screens . It was a pretty good story he is like 13 i believe.

I must also not that I just came up with the screen idea and that screen was slipped over the plant very carfuly at over almost 3weeks into flowering . So this plant didn't grow into this screen but was manipulated into it . I could just see the benefits even this far in and decided to chance it on , I didn't cause any damage and it has continued growing so luckily i didn't stress it .

So to make it clear the obivious benefit I saw was spreading her out wider and opening up the middle easier .I think i will still need additional support as they grow tall , so here soon I will put in some bamboo stakes , .

Ideally for my situation in the future I will install the screen as soon as I transplant to the 5g buckets and plug in 4-5 bamboo stakes , i do this 2 weeks b4 flowering. This way it has time to veg into the screen and you can get her trimmed up underneath the screen b4 flowering . Placing the stakes at this point doesnt disturb any of the roots. Then at the end of that 2 weeks she is ready for the flip with everthing already done that could delay flowering , excess trimming, screen and stake instalation.
So this is a learning process in the making to sum it up.
