Yielding 1 lb / month?

I'm a new grower looking to yield 1 lb / month. It's all non profit to supply myself & a few family members who are disabled & or ill. I know that certain strains and environmental conditions are a must but with my setup what is the best method to fullfill my needs. A perpetual SOG, or a scrog? Or just a perpetual lst of 6-9 ladies? I'm currently running a 125w cfl blue for seedlings/clones, a 400w MH for veg , & 2-600w a/c HPS . My veg cab is 2'x2.5'x5', & my flower tent is 4'x4'x6.5'. Would I be able to reach my goal in this tent or should I buy a 4x6 . That would probably be the max tent size my room would allow. Would hate to split the 600s up but also thought of buying 2 3.5'x3.5' tents with a 600 in each. This would give me more space to work with and also allow me to alternate the flowering tents light schedules to keep electricity suspicion down. I like the idea of 2 flowering tents but I hate the idea of separating my twins. Any advice would be appreciated.bongsmiliebongsmiliebongsmiliebongsmiliebongsmiliebongsmilie:leaf:

i grow in a 4x4x6.5 tent also and use 1 400w hps light with this i get about 1-1.5 lbs every 8wks. my profile pic is one of an average plant. so i think you would just need more space. What im doing this time is putting a shelf 2ft high in my tent and mounting cfl lights to the bottom. im using cfl b/c of less space and less heat. i will put my clones in the bottom until they get to big then move them to the top where the big light is. this will double my grow space while taking up the same area. i think you could benefit from a setup like this. i also have limited space and am working on a pound a month. the lights in the tent will all be on the 12.12 cycle hope this helps

also i think you could cut one of your lights out alltogether in the tent you are using now. the max lumens you need is 5000 per square foot and my 400w comes close to that. you could cut your electric bill in half for your grow-op. also the shelf i mentioned earlier is a new idea im trying a friend says he does this and it works but we will see.

Really?!?! 117 views and one guy can give his 2 cents... I've done my best to help anyone with a concern or questions wether I knew the answer or helped research.. That's really terrible!!! But whatever.. I'm adventurous enough to figure it out. Fuck off to anyone who read my thread that could have helped but didn't.

in my opinion a lb a month is unreachable in a tent that size,i have 3 1000w hps over a 4x12 table and do a lb or better a month, always switching plants,1 comes out 1 back in. figure a lb a light( 1000w if your at the top of your game and veg 2 months)i veg for 4 to 6 wks.just cant see it under 600 s and that small a spce.oh yeah agee with unortodox dont be a dick and yu will have more response, maybe the views on this thread were newbies like u hoping there was an answer where they could learn too or guys that just didnt know smoke one and fuckin relax

And I'm being a dick how. By being disappointed that out of 150 views I get 1 opinion. As I said if you read my thread and could have helped but didn't, then fuck off. I think I have a right to that. I'm not being a dick I'm being honest.. You obv have no real opinion on topic so lay off bro!

I think you've got me confused. Again you started out on the right track by you have yourself turned tO the dick you speak of.. If you read my post it states if you could have helped out and didn't then I say fuck off. I never said anything about newbs not replying.. So when you able to comprehend a little better then maybe you could one day give a helping hand. Until then .... Peace

No chance you'd get a pound a month with that tent, you'd need to grow 900grams every 8 weeks to do that, with another flowering tent you could probably do it if you knew what you were doing. (1 bulb in each, 8 week strain, 4 weeks veg, batch 1 into flowering room #1, 4 weeks later, next batch of 4 week vegged plants go into flowering room no#2 ) Means you'd have a 600w flowering tent to harvest every 4 weeks, after a while Im sure you'd get it up to a pound a month. Gonna take alot of work tho.

Thank you for your opinion sir. I figured it may be a little far fetched but was worth asking to get a few opinions.. I will have to reevaluate my situation and figure out a plan of attack..
