Over 500 actual watts of cfl ... Yield ?

2000watts of cfl just doesnt seem to make sense if u did 400w of hps and mh u would get a better yeild if not just as good from what i herd

well its 484 actual watts got 10ozs dry weight off my last grow it was hella dense im estamating atleast a pound if not a pound & a 1/2 this grow all my friends that actually seen my shit were amazed that i did that off a cfl grow

I yielded 5.4 oz with 6 small plants off 388 watts. 500g off 700w of CFL as well. I know a guy that runs a 10lb T5 room... You can yield just as much of the same quality bud with CFLs/floros as HIDs if you do it properly.

I think it's great to have pro growing commercial fucking guys on a CFL journal without any proof of what there saying. Fuck they probably don't even have a light socket to plug a light into but they come on a CFL sight talking shit. sorry godamchamp about the previous reply those guys fucked up my good Cranberry Kush High. Your plants look great under those CFL and you probably aren't planting for the dispensaries anyway so plant what you are going to smoke and if you get more great smoke more. Always plant to your pesonal usage. For me I only smoke 1 ounce a month or 1 1/2 depending on season, I always smoke more in the winter and with all of the family and holidays I always go thru more, so plant to needs and you'll be happy

Wait a min are you trying to say 2 oz off cfl??? i know of someone who had a 400w hps and did 2 plants and got alil over an 8th of an oz dry weight basicly wasted his time and electric id love to see a cfl plant give a half oz even that sounds unrealistic. i have 3 120w eqv 24w and one plant/aqua t bulb. Im currently in flowering and i just dont see more then an 8th ounce total out of this. Its almost not worth it and ive used nutes tryed some proven tricks and the thing is barley over a foot. 600w of cfl on a 15 amp circuit everyday would eventually heat up the wire and poof your home gone?? 600w even on a brand new romex could be dangerous i would think. Id add more light if i knew i would be safe but this is 40 year old wire atleast

lol my first grow ever with random bag seeds and MG soil and nutes i got well over half an oz. per plant (2.3 oz from the 3 i had growing) and i stressed the hell out of them and only flowered 8-9 weeks under about 200ish watts of CFL. No LST no topping, plants around 28-30 inches with 4 weeks veg from seed. im sticking to CFLs for one more grow until i get a bigger place but im expecting to do considerably better than my first attempt.

looking good check out my grow 2000watts cfl getting a great yeild my last harvest 2 sour diesil under same setup gave me 5 oz's of some dense firery nugs had nugs over 2.5 grams each

2000watts is not the actual wattage.im running 420 watts or so and i just harvested a 187 gram wet weight single small plant.

These are 1oz plants in 1gal pots that were vegged for 2 weeks. I was running 8 of these at a time under 388w of CFL. I was yielding .52 g/kWh which is the equivalent of yielding 1g/w with a 1000w HID and a 6week veg (I don't know many growers that can hit 1g/w with HIDs with less than a 6week veg - unless running a ton of plants very close together).

Dont we all want proof of something . The setup ive seen used recently is just an old light socket wall fixture that has a plug on the front screwed a double bulb adapter into the socket so theres 2 24w warm cfls plugged in one is screwed in the socket and there is 2 outlets on the sides i just picked up a socket that u can just plug into a wall outlet or whatever 50 cents each plugged that into the socket adapter one side used the other side to plug in my lamp cord socket. Then the main socket thats attached to the wall is really old so the outlet that comes out of that is not made for polarized plugs so i couldent use any plug that had a big and small prong so i just plugged my t fixture into that so makes for a total of 3 24w going with one desktop flexable t fixture temps are from 68-72 with a fan that is blown on it occansionally. Basicly i could have bought a metal clamp light to hang over instead i just picked up a corded lamp socket for 2 bucks not $10 and ived hung it over the plant and slowly raise it. Sometimes closet rods work for something other then storeing a bunch of unused rusty coathangers. Either way id like to see this big yeild some of you talk about of qp plants off cfl lets see actual pics you shouldent come on here and be like i got 500g off cfl dry and then have no proof . If your going to post a pic dont waste our time with some dried colas in a wooden screen box or a glass jar thats not proof of anything sept u have bud from somewhere. Come and say im stupid etc or this ones a dumbass if you did hydro like i did or use plant rocks etc etc u would get x amount. Well prove it to us dont hate on someone if u dont have any proof allot of ppl on here talk big time. Well lets see a real cfl setup with real buds not a story of how ur buddy pulled 2lbs off some cfls how we know u aint posting a cola u purchesed or just grew under hps. In one of the pics i had posted u can clearly see how basic my setup is what kind of lights they are etc no mysterys. I dont have ne reflectors at all however i was thinking about trying the cut in half heater pipe with a double socket fixture cfl trick ive herd those work good

/e Going to work on pics of the 10lb T5 room but really don't think he will ever let it happen - super paranoid guy (might understand this if you knew anyone that actually grew and I don't consider myself a real grower). Out of curiosity, what would someone gain from growing a buncha pot with a HID to jar and take pics of so that they could go on a forum and pretend they grew it with floros? Why wouldn't they just admit to growing it with HIDs to begin with?

wow jhod that setup was truely decent looking in that video i deffinitly believe you my buddys plant has very crystaly buds as u described in the vid as one of yours. mine look kinda like gastankers pic idk recall what strain is in the pic there but ill have to post some new pics of my own its gelin and crystaly more then before. Whats funny is i had em veg for a month and the .52 ratio does not apply to me lol shit 163g i outta be getting we can all dream right. Around 40-45g sounds more realistic to what i should have been able to pull with the right conditions one plant which if you could get that kind of harvest every month would be enough for your head anyways. Jhod obviously has the sockets and the space and prolly wireing thats not 60 years old if i had that kinda space id deff try your setup. I must ask however are those buds say the sour diesel will it still be able to get as strong as medical grade even though it done with cfl light ???

Here we go i think its closer to 55-60 days flowering but the owner says no its only been 30 days idk i think it looks almost done and the sad part is theres nothing here. Its a bagseed plant which i believe is one of the haze/lights strain its hard to say it however has the same thick wide leaves as the Haze/lights strain. Could be midgrade though who knows ive seen mids with tiger striped seeds

Im hoping in another week or 2 they will fatten up the tric are not amber yet but most hairs on the buds appear orange or red i prolly got 2 more weeks idk i plucked a lower bud to dry and sample i mean the plant is still fairly green as u can see. Every other time ive seen pics on here and from my last grow the leaves had yellowed from bottom to top towards the begining of the budding stage. I decided to flush incase of any lockup or too much nute. anyways thanks for looking

I had similar yellowing with my GDP, adjusting the ph helped me. I was locking out N. Too much nute will usually make the yellowing and get crispy.

I've got a 200 watt 2700K. Your plants need more light bro, like bassman said your nodes are way to spread out. Try keeping the CFL low and surround your plants around the light. The key is to get the light as close to your girls as possible.
If I were you, I'de ditch your current strain once this grow is completed. You never know, you could just have really bad genetics. I would definently rearrange your lights though.
