Riot Seeds a Scam?

Stonedmetal I am simulataneously growing Riot Sid Vicious and Riot sweet OG. Both look as good as the Russian BLue pics above. This early in bloom I did not think more pics would be usefull.
For perspective the plants average 40" tall and have numerous bud sites. Funny colors are cause this is an LED grow.

The real question I'm asking is: Even though the seeds are good, are they truly his genetics or are we being sold a lie? More well-established breeders like Sensi, Green House and TGA don't charge nearly as much for excellent seeds, so why do six seeds for Riot's Sputnik 3.0 (http://www.cannabis-seeds-bank.co.uk/riot-seeds-sputnik-3-0/prod_2905.html) cost more than 10 for TGA's The Flav? I don't have a lot of background info, so feel free to fill in any details that can be backed up (e.g. "I heard" doesn't count) if I'm wrong. I just feel like something's off here.

I don't know if I would use Greenhouse and Sensi as examples of reliable seedbanks. Greenhouse uses names like Bubba Kush, which they don't have, to sell there new genetics and there old lines are F2's or S1's of the originals via Shanti and Neville and Sensi's quality has dramatically dropped due to losing the original parents for a lot of there lines.

i grew a couple of ghs seeds myself and the shit is dank hawiian snow,arjan ultra haze,super lemon haze, bubba kush,white widow and more

If riot gear is or isn't a rip off thats a matter of opinion and every knows about those. I don't think it is a rip. I like it and it looks like fire so far and I'm sticking with it. I get Riot gear through a U.K. bank and will continue to do so until I come across something I don't like about it.
Unless you Own a seed company Who cares what the guy dose or dosen't do you get to buy it and try it if you chose like all other brands. If you your self have never grown Riot Gear then you really don't know anything but what you READ so until you try the gear

Heres one for all the people that think this guy stoled something. at this point, he is an overpriced Nirvana seeds, he wants top dollar for seeds and hardly anyone has heard of him. just because he supposedly has good genetics , it doesnt mean he is a good breeder. he has to earn respect, then maybe charge top dollar

Don't personally know the guy and I bet if he doesn't grow then he has someone that knows what there doing. What dose a good breeder consist of in your opinion? If he Isn't good at it then he won't be around

How in the hell can you say if he isn't good he wouldn't be around? Look at people like yourself where no matter what is said here you still insist on sticking up for the breeder in question and implying he is god. Seems to me that's how a breeder would stay in business PLAIN AND SIMPLE........ a sucker born every minute duh.

Nobody needs to take it personally for Matt Riot. He can stand up for himself if he wants.

I haven't tried it so I can't verify, but should I really blow $90 + international shipping on something I REALLY REALLY want if I can't verify what he says it is?

Think about it this way: You're in Nevada. You walk past a bordello and you see a sign up that says "Today Only: Sex just one dollar!" and you think to yourself, "Gee, I have one dollar" and decide to walk in and get some.

You walk inside and inquire about the special with the madame. She says "That's right. Today only: Sex will only cost you one dollar!". You give her your one dollar and she provides you with a copy Sex by Madonna. You don't get the sex you were looking for, even though $1 may be good for a book full of dirty pictures. Even though you got something cool, you'd probably still feel like you had been tricked.

Even if the seeds are good, I don't want to think I'm getting the Blue Dream I know and remember fondly and end up with something similar, but not the same. Unfortunately, Riot hasn't yet responded to any of my emails asking their Blue Dream is the same as the clone-only strain of California fame. Has anyone here actually gotten a hold of their seeds or an answer to my original question?

I wasn't saying you wouldn't find anything good out of his gear I was mainly talking about Arjan's ethics. His Super Silver Haze and Rhino aren't the original because he doesn't have the parents yet he charges top dollar because of the GHS name which Shanti and Neville built up.

True enough. I'm not trying to talk shit, I'm just viewing this as a perspective customer. I really really REALLY want to believe that's true Blue Dream. It's my favorite strain and I've been saying they need to find a way to make seeds for a long time, but it just seems to good to be true. And the fact that I'm not hearing anything back from Riot isn't helping.

I know they're sold out, but I wouldn't buy them if they were in stock until I got some answers from Riot. No picture on his website is going to sway me because as far as I can see, they aren't accurate photos.

You are correct that many of the photos are not of finished grows of the strains listed. I am not sure why Matt has not had good photos of some of his strains when they are released. Ask him yourself. He will probably answer.

Blue dream is also one of my all time favorites. So much so that I will stick with the clone only version. Any seed based version, even an S1 will have multiple phenotypes. Even if all of the phenotypes are excellent finding one as exceptional as the clone only strain would be a challange IMHO.

The general experiences of those growing the Riot strains has been very good based upon what i have seen on his website and my own grow so far. My trust is not easily earned but for now I have full confidence that Riot is producing some very good strains using the genetics he says he is. He is the new guy on the block and a little rough around the edges at time. I sincerely hope his breeding activities continue as I believe in his product and enjoy his website.

and do you think its right to take a 29 dollar pack of seeds and a clone 10-20 dollars tops and sell seeds of that for 200+ DOLLARS?
That shit is nuts i dont see how people can do business like that.
