right. the men and women at the very TOP of this country. the people making the decisions of war and peace DON'T KNOW ALL THE FACTS.

they just listen and repeat the words the mysterious puppeteer says to say. right.

bullshit. the entire administration knows perfectly well what a sham this war is. it is a for profit venture by the owners of this country, just as every war before it in this century was, and probably before.

the proof is that anyone of the administration who spoke against what they were planning, and susequently spoke out against it was canned.

you talk about her and her character like you know her. but you don't. admit it. you're sticking to her and your president out of party loyalty. you cant see the damage they are doing to this country because of party attachments. come back and join the people of this great land. we need your help.
can't see the damage? sticking to my president out of party loyalty?

dude, i haven't been around for a while but surely you can't be serious about this stuff...

haven't you ever heard that knowledge is power? IF the dark conspiracy to which you subscribe is remotely real then there are brokers of knowledge that are well over the president's head. the best paid actors fuck up their lines from time to time and you're willing to consume the notion that Bush, W, is a top level government "actor/director"????? that's utter nonsense. look at the previous clown he hired for AG, i mean, seriously, if that is the kind of move that is defined by duplicity i'd hate to see his game face.

Come on now 7X, that is her fucking job, to lie,. People don't get to where she is by telling the truth and that my friend, is the truth. She may have started out as the wide eyed shiny idealistic young intern, but along the way, she got a passel of lies stuffed up her ass and told to pass them on. Now if she were the heroine you espouse, she would have walked, but the promise of fame and power led her down the path just like all that came before, Hell yes she lied, and with a smile on her face. If you are too blind to see this, then just go back to your sand pile and insert head.
to spin and "re-tool" rhetoric - yes, you're right about that but it's not the same as knowing one thing as truth but telling the public something else.

My good fellow, lying is lying, no matter how tall the tale. It is the nature of the political beast. Some are better at it than others. And Condi is up there with the best, Remember, she is friends with GW and that slimeball Cheney. Both Liars extrodanair.

i agree, the war is technically illegal. the problem i have is with "legal" war. that's a pretty massive problem in my book - legalized war? you leftists think that anything "legal" is ok. what a joke and what a testament to your "sheep" like characteristics also. when war is all that is left there is no need for a law stating the obvious. taking human life is by default criminal unless that human has volunteered for death; as is the case with murderers, people who point guns at our soldiers, etc.

i just can't believe you'll accuse her of lying with no evidence and no pattern to establish that she's a liar.

the best you could do is say that she repeated lies told to her by some mysterious puppeteer but to keep insisting she lied to us on purpose is ridiculous. people don't work as hard as she did to get where she is just so she can lie. people of her character would rather quit and start over than lie.

can't see the damage? sticking to my president out of party loyalty?

the top post was what i was responding to. you must really respect condi to honestly STILL believe she is not lying. statements of her a few months before 9/11 directly contradict her later statements. bush's no.1 priority was to invade Iraq. They all lied. 9/11 made his goal possible.

but i don’t where you got that i thought bush was anything other then a buffoon puppet being fed lines. 9/11 and the war on terror wasn't his goal so much as the bankers and businessmen. however, he is evil because he knows perfectly well that his policies show little regard for the sanctity of human life and liberty, to U.S. citizens or foreigners.

the dark conspiracy does exist. the players and puppets all know the rules.

Nope, I'm not saying she's a liar, anymore than I'm saying the Dems lied. What they did was to rely on information they received from those they trusted. That's a far cry from lying. Here's what bothers me though ... The Dems completely disregard the fact that most in the Congress and Senate, including the Dems, said the very same things about Saddam's WMD, but have conveniently "forgotten" this to further their agendas. The "Bush Lied" mantra doesn't sell anymore. Its false and dishonest.

Vi
I was going to respond. But, then I read what closet wrote. Just read his last two posts, that's all you need to know.

Vi, i gotta disagree. not with what you posted, but with your opinion. we're all aware that 'intelligence' from here and other countries were said to implicate Sadam's WMDs. That was the case made by this administration. Where we differ is that you BELIEVE the the administration, I do not.

Just months before 9/11 Rice and Powel are on record as saying Sadam was a nobody with no capabilities. After 9/11 he's suddenly public enemy #1. The charges trumpted up against him were false. Powel said so later.

Its painfully obvious that the 'intelligence' against him was not wrong, it was a lie. Senaters and representatives are on record as saying that there was two sets of briefs going around. one saying that he has no defences and the other saying he was a threat because no one knew what he had. sound a bit like the case being made against Iran right now, doesn't it?

You and I dont know only but what they tell us. but i refuse to believe that the best intel money can buy & the best men and technology in the world can fuck up so badly. The U.S. has good people in intelligence. The president simply lied. Its happened plenty of times before, it happened now.

i think you're succumbing to party loyalty here. if a dem president did what bush did, you'd be screaming bloody liar, by now.
Yup, no doubt, about that. I don't understand these hardcore GOPers or Dems. They're both jokes to me.

I think what is emerging is a better understanding of the mind of a megalow-maniac. Sadam bluffed to the hilt. Some information suggests that his scientists bluffed him into believing there were WMDs close to deployment.

So the question in 2000 was this, do we go to war to cut off a mad man or leave him alone? This was the question people ask about Hitler in 1938. We will see it again in the next 20 years.

So, are you condoning the war? If so, I suggest you might want to see a psychiatrist. Before you commit a trillion bucks and 150,000 men and women to a war, you may want to get your "facts" straight. There will always be a straw man for the war profiteers!

No, I do NOT condone this war policy. What I am saying is this; megalo-maniacs are very dangerous and hard to understand. We made many bad mistakes here. The problem appeared similar to Hitler in '38. But, actually, it was very different. In the next twenty years, we will see another mad man, like Saddam. We must handle him better.

My dear friend, the meglo-maniac is seated at 1600 Pennslyvania avenue, Where he indulges in drunken coked out orgies. His "lovely" wife has reportedly stated that she is leaving him as soon as he is out of office, Yeah I know this is inuendo, but of all the things he's done, this would be the least harmful to the citizens of the world or the USA.

Unfortunately, you are correct. But, that is a side issue. My question still remains, did we learn anything useful here? You Nam types used to call these "after action reports". Do we let crazy men go, and see what happens, or at some point do we take preemption? This crazy situation will reoccur. Probably in the forseable future.

Look, as long as the crazy men aren't invading other countries or actually have the means to attack us long range, I say let their people deal with them. It has a way of working itself out with enough time. Most countries that have had dictators have eventually overthrown them to, guess what, meet the new dictator! We can not sustain being the worlds policemen. We have not the blood or treasure to continue.

Anyone who thinks that Sadam + Iraq were a genuine threat that needed to be taken out A.S.A.P. is really out of touch with reality. All Sadam wanted was to quietly live out the rest of his life spending his ill-gotten billions. Not saying he was a good guy or anything, but that's pretty much what it boils down to. He wanted to stay off U.S. radar and just do the coke and hookers thing for another 15-20 years.

There are at least two or three other countries that should have been attacked before we bothered with Iraq.

You see, the guy wasn't all that smart. That posing thing was to fool his neighbors, problem is, it backfired on him when the Bush-Cheney crowd came to town. They were looking for any excuse to put Haliburton to work and secure the second largest oil reserves in the world

If that's true, then where in hell is the oil?

It's in the pipeline. Their plan is to secure it for U.S. private businesses. Chop up the Iraq nation into U.S. corporate portions. Its so damn obvious, dude.
Good! Right now demand is outstripping supply and the gasoline prices are to damned high. Hopefully, the Iraqi oil will bolster our supplies, gasoline prices will go down ... and the Iraqi people will be working their little asses off in the oil fields making great money and creating a good life for themselves without Saddam's rape rooms and torture chambers in operation.

hopefully, but not likely for prices to go down.

it's called inflation. the government inflates our money supply and then waits for natural disasters, war or political unrest or the like to claim lower production of oil, and therefor higher prices. ever notice the price never goes back DOWN afterwards?

that's the government hiding the inflation THEY CREATED in the cost of energy. its the perfect culprit to hide inflation in because higher energy cost equals higher cost for every single commodity available.

another factor is peak oil. even if more is suddenly available, we are at or close to peak oil. with the supply on the down side, market forces demand a higher price.

demand is high and our (U.S.) money is quickly losing its value. the price of oil will never go down. don't even think about it.
