Looks awesome man. Don't think I mentioned it but I'm Colombian myself, spent ten years in Bogota... either way, I was very young at the time so I never saw any weed or anything over there, and I'm probably too young to even have been smoking age when the Gold was prevalent.. anyways, are you thinking or re-vegging the Gold? Maybe even start a breeding project?

Hey upthearsenal, World of Seeds claims the "Landrace Colombian Gold is a crossback 25% indica/75% sativia landrace from Colombia, giving as a result a mixture of pure lines come from santamarta zone". That's what they say about it. All I know is I'm liken it, smokin it and enjoying the hell out of it, makes excellent cannabutter and hash oil as well. Very sweet to smell and smoke, very smooth and the buzz is simply awesome...

After this regrow, the plan is to keep it growing either by clones and/or transplant the mommas in soil. I plan to start a whole new grow w/4 different strains after I harvest this re-grow....

Quick update: day 52 in flowering... Burning 1280watts, 83,000 lumen of CFLs on a 10/14 light schedule, boosted w/pure blend bloom and trics on the BW is 90% clear/10% cloudy, LCG is 100% clear..... figure another 2-3 weeks at best...

btw, took a sample of the Gold to day, gonna give her a taste later

How many cfl's is that? I know i've asked you before ,i just cant remeber. also what is dimensions of your grow space, and how many plants in that space?

im putting plans together for a new grow, gonna use your grow lights style, moving small cfls daily, rather than buying more of the jumbo cfl's I had been using before..

Hey DarthD3vl, I have a total of 22 CFL spiral bulbs in a 12 sqft closet.... currently 4 plants, 3 Landrace Colombiam Gold and a single Blue Widow. My 1st grow I had 6 plants in the closet.... good luck w/the upcoming grow.... moving CFLs in the flowering stage, specially the last 4 weeks or so, you can enhance fattening and ripening.... it has worked for me....

did a photo comparison from the original grow to the re-grow on day 60 of flowering .... both photos are nearly identical, so it appears harvest may as close as 6-10 days, at least w/the Blue Widow..... plan is to go into the rinse this Sunday, let those roots rinse for 6-7 days before I take my 1st cut.... plan is still to hold out for lots of amber on the Gold..... switching to the 8/16 light schedule this Sunday as well.... perhaps in a few weeks I'll kick-off a whole new grow w/2-4 different strains.... been waiting for the new one to get underway....

Thanks Dropastone, checking trics today, both the BW and LCG are about the same, 40-50% cloudy w/a hint of amber or 05%-10% amber maybe. I may be cutting sooner than I thought..... don't believe it will be much longer... according to the spec'd of both strains, BW flowering time is 7-8 weeks, the LCG is 8-10 weeks and they are in day 61 of flowering.... just waiting for that 40%-50% amber level on the LCG

Also I need to decide what strains I really like to get up and running on the next grow. I've narrowed it down to NL#5, Skunk#1, Royal Haze, Parmir Gold for sure, but also plan to get some regular seeds as well of Medicine Man, White Rhino, OG Kush.... the church, Kandahar, perhaps Black Widow.... later bro

thanks Dropastone and DarthD3vl, it's been overdue for a new grow.... the re-grow has been interesting tho, but can't wait to get a new strain up and growing..... at day 66 on the last grow I had harvested my gals..... checking trics today, pretty much 50% clear, 50% cloudy w/alittle amber.... so it will be a little longer, got them rinsing right now and on the 8/16 light schedule.....

Hey guys, been a while since my last post, the wife and I are trying to get our house ready to put it up for sale this upcoming 2012.... like that’s going to go over like shit w/the housing market these days.... anyway we want to move back home to Iowa, I’m so sick of city life, the crime, the bullshit.... our roots stem from small farm town living or in the country..... biggest event during the year up there is the local tractor pull and rumors of who’s doing who.... going to the only 1 horse bar in town to play quarter ani poker or pool, lick her up front and poke her in the rear: uhmmm old bar sign joke....
trust me my fatboy is moving up w/us, gots to keep that 1 fearless county cop busy....lol


So what of the grow??? yeah I’m getting to that, harvest day was on 6-5-11..... lots and lots of C.Gold, the BW did ok, not as much as her 1st harvest at day 66 of flwr..... this cut was at 77 flwr days at 70% cloudy, w/+40%-50% amber...... the Gold felt heavier this time during the hanging process, hopes by holding out for more amber this run and going to the 08/16 light schedule, perhaps fatten those colas up w/more resin... we will see in a week or so..... going to jar them little sooner than last time, and cure them on a 6-8 week cure, 1st week turn/burp 1 hour per day, 2nd week for ½ hour/day, 3rd week 15 minutes/day, last 3-5 weeks pop them for 10 minutes per every 3 days.... then the monthly 15 min belch & turn, btw the turn means turning the bud around in the jar, not turning the jar.... might store all of it in my bar fridge, being I don’t drink anymore....do like my O’Doul’s now and then...

also no 2nd re-grow, I shut everything down after this cut, got a couple Gold seeds and w/my upcoming seed order, I’ll get some Blue Widow feminized seeds

Anyway in a few days I’ll post the yield dry weight, amount of pint jars, smoke report... see if achieving more amber has created the knockdown power I’m looking for... curing makes one hell of a difference, even my 1st harvest of the Gold and what little Blue just gets better and better....

Damn DarthD3vl, I think ya got allot of seeds there buddy, like to put an order for a clone each from your strain selection when you take cuttings.... still have not ordered my Skunk#1, Royal Haze, NL#5, Blue Widow..... might use attitude this go around, I used single seed center last time, gotta a couple freebees which included my Blue Widow.... thanks Dropastone, hope it has the knockdown power.... checked on them this am, those CG colas still feel heavey, I dry them until I can get a main stem to snap when bending it.... but heard if you let them dry to much, curing may be useless so I'm checking them everyday....

thanks Pipe Dream, next grow will be NL#5, Skunk#1, Royal Haze and White Rhino. I have allot of harvested CG on hand, but not a whole lot of Blue Widow, so I'll most likely grow from seed on that BW strain again only to create a full pledge momma in soil, in fact depending the successful germination out come from the new strains, I'll make mommas out of all of them to grow in soil as well. Then from cuttings I'll grow clones in my aero-hydro set-up. Like to set up a vertical grow, just need to find some 10-12" diameter PVC tubing or square PVC, like fence post perhaps, seen some kool set-ups on those vertical grow..... But it won't be until later this summer before that grow gets underway, might even get a 400watt hps, but I'll continue to use my CFLs as well

thanks upthearsenal, should be able to post a smoke report this upcoming weekend...the BW actually showed some blue color, but for some reason the photos don't show it that much... when I do start my new grow and if I end up using tote boxes instead tubing, I'll only have 3 grow-pods per tote or grow-box. Also each grow-box will house just one particular strain, not mixed strains in one box like I've done since I've been growing, hence multiple grow-boxes this next run... anyway thanks guys for all your support....

That's great news on the extra seeds DarthD3vl, never had critical except I did get some critical kali mist when I ordered my last seeds... need to get over there to check your journal out....

regarding my harvest on the re-grow I'm curing 16 pint jars of Gold, 3 pints of Blue and 2 large ziplock bags of trim/underbud in the freezer.... no weight yet... also I have not smoked any of it yet.... so I need to get that done..... later bro
