Well I'm not saving too much, it really uses 395w and I was using a 400w Super HPS with a digital ballast before. I basically wanted to say I was using an LED at least equal to a 400w HPS just in case they were not as amazing as they said. But it beat my expecations by a good while and I realize now I should have settled for a 180w or a 290w for my 2.5 x 2.5 x 6 tent

But the nice thing is that it makes only maybe 20% as much heat as the 400w HPS system did. So my growing window without the use of an air conditioning machine doubled from 4 months with the 400w HPS to at least 8 months with the 395w LED (if I had gotten a more appropriately powerful LED I could have been growing all year!)

*tent vents into bedroom which always has door and heat vent closed, so the only air comes from the window however far its open (depends on how near or far from summer)*didn't want to risk neighbors suspicious of whatever

I've got an auto that forgot to auto, the strain is colossus. She grew to 43" in 6 weeks w/ no sign of flowering. So running out of room I laid her on her side & tide her up. She reminds me of a craddle.

This should be my best harvest yet. I'm so stoked onthis scrog. It's so beautiful

haha i was thinking of actually doing that man, but i have not done anything to them except stake them up. i am still planning on a small grow outdoors in the woods just for fun, but we will see how that goes, ive been real busy lately with the new job.
i think i got about 1 year of probation left and then i should be able to grow again.
i hate probation

Here we go with another LST project.....Northern Skunk

Here is my Northern Skunk prior to transplanting. In these pics she is in a 1 gallon container.



I transplanted her into a 3 gallon Billcollector Smart Pot. (The same size I got my Venom OG Kush plant in now) I got 4 FREE bags of Hydrolite so I used one whole bag with my soil. Anyone every use this HydroLite shit?



BAMMMMMMM LST'd the bitch!!!!! I used my string and clothes pins for LSTing.....ghetto but it works!

Tried to do some flushing today, but I think the Mykos and roots of the plant might just be so intense the water can only go into the soil a lot slower than normal. Hopefully it doesn't become a big problem, its been this way for 1-2 weeks but the plants don't seem to be suffering much from anything except a little hunger from me underfeeding.

PS: .8gallon air pots, nirvana ice strain, day 13 or 14 of 12/12

Try adding some dish soap to your water next time, it will help get through your soil. I do it alot when my soil starts getting solid. I add a couple of drops like 2 to 3 per gallon of water. It wont hurt your plant or the roots at all. Hope that helps, plants look beautiful! Maybe give them some "N"

Thanks bro, what is it about MIR that concerns you? I saw your growing tomatoes? try it on them, I believe thats how RM3 came about the whole Making It Rain, I believe it was with his tomatoes.

I cant wait to see you back on the grow again....but 1st things 1st, handle your business and when its time, come out strong and hit it hard bro! I will be waiting and cant wait to see you grow bro!!!

well the main thing for me just seems like ti is to much water at one time, but it seems it doesnt matter after seeing your plants and others who do it, it also seems like a bit more work that is not needed all that much. when i grew i kind of flushed each watering. i do water feed, water, feed,water ect... all with the same amount of water so that if theri is any build up it clears out and the plants use any xtra nutes form the last feed.
i might just test it on the toms, and when i grow again i will also do it with a few plants and see if i like it or not

Its definately a lot of work, especially with larger plants. I dont mind it but I am also trying different things to make it easier on myself. I think thats why I am also liking DWC growing now. Once a week res changes seems a lot more easier for me but I like soil bud better. Hey I meant to ask you again about the nutes.....I am running out of my Fox Farms and refuse to but any Fox Farm nutes again. i want to try the nutes you told me about earlier. Thanks

i really like like flora nove grow and bloom. its a 2 part feed for the most part, its easy to use, can be used in soil and hydro, ph stable, and it is not to spendy, the down side is it is not organic but it works well.

Basically if I am growing a plant in a 1 gallon container, I run 3 gallons of 5.8 - 6.0ph tap water through the plant and then I let it sit for like 15 minutes and put about 1/2 of gallon nute mix to coat the soil. Thats it, i do it every my plant needs watering, so I am flushing my plants soil every single time before putting nutes in the soil. I also feed nutes every single time. Once I MIR on a plant more than 3 times I dont flush as much water as I did when I first started MIR on a plant. So after a few MIR on a plant, instead of using 3 gallons of water to flush I will use 2 or even 1 gallon of pH'd water. But whenever there is any deficiency in my plant I flush right back to 3 gallons. I hope I am not confusing you too much. I am a horrible writer when high! Sorry. Just read the thread Calling alll nOObs.....
