Advanced Flushing Techniques

Was up every1, just wonder if there n e 1 out there that does more than just a standard flush. I know most jus do a flush with clerex or final fhase 7 or 14 days b4 harvest but ive heard of ather addition that are made ater that initial flush that produce a better product. I know using enzymes at 2x streath after flush to breakdown n e that make be remaining, and make it soluble for the plant to uptake but ive heard that using bud candy (carbs) after the flush will help as well? Does n e one have n e tricks of there own they use on that last week???

no marketing here if u dnt like an thats on you, high quality enzymes are high quality enzymes. Sensizyme and hydrozyme are the only 1s that fit this description in my area. And using a flushing agent is a lot better than plain water alone

I flush with straight tap water and do it during the last 48-72 hours of the plants' lives when they are under their dark spell right up til I chop them down. Usually about two to three times the water is used based on the size of containers. 3g pots = 9g flush water. A week or so before all that I only feed with my zymes and flower booster, no base nutes or other additives. This has been working great for me.

Don't spend your money on products that supposedly flush better.
All you need to do is run pure water through the roots as rapidly as possible for the last week or so.
The point is to remove everything, not add more.

well i grow in 10 gal containers so filling 30gal is a lil to much 4 me. the point of the flushing solution is to take out accumulated salts w less water so my 10gal container gets flushed w 10 gal. also the point of the enzymes after the initial flush is to break down n e thing remaing in the root zone.

Although I'm sure the products are effective, I wonder if similar results could be had using molasses. Both Bud Candy and CarboLoad appear to simply be a variety of sugars with some fulvic acid and whatever essential oil enhancing plant extract and fractionated resins are. I assume the former is flavouring.

Final phase is mostly citric acid. You wouldn't want your bud tasting citrusy and fruity would you. I love it to death.... best additive because I enjoy tasty flushed weed... I can tell a huge difference.

I also use carboload and 3 tblspoons fermented hi brix mollasses with final phase for three weeks and omg is it smooth... the first dry joint burns perfect. Taste is huge with me personally. You ever wonder what barneys gave the tang dream before the cup...citric acid....nuff said. Remember they won the best in the world with this so they may know a thing or two..huh.

Sounds too spicy too me. Anyone who flush with plain water is missing out on the chelate effect. Chelation makes perfect sense for flushing metals and toxins out of a pllant. Do your own research on chelation.

"To treat with Final Phase the grower applies a "chelation" therapy to the root zone, taking away all further inputs of fertilizer, as the crop ripens for the last week of growth.

The grower using Final Phase simply empties the entire reservoir after 6 hours of recirculation with Final Phase; follow label directions for application rate. Recirculate the irrigation system that has been treated with Final Phase thoroughly to expose all surfaces to the treatment. This is usually achieved in 6 hours or less.

Then refill the reservoir with just PURE water for the last 7-10 days of crop growth and ripening. This growth will occur by the plants relying only on their internal stores of minerals, and will more fully develop colours and bouquet, as the plants sense "nutrient stress" in their last days of growth."

I don't work for AN but I should because I love some of their products. Man up and buy a 4L bottle and the price isn't too bad. Any improvement on a crop's quality or yield is worth more than the nutes every time. I rock iguana juice, mest, bud ignitor, big bud, bud factor last grow but too pricey to repeat, bud candy, and best of all nirvana. Those are some kick ass liquid nutes but the price of the bud ignitor and factor x are ridiculous. Gotta get the 4L for 150 instead of a 1L for 80! If you grow in soild then tap water and a little bit of humic acid for 10 days works nicely. Phinal phase is harder than hydro to completely rinse out but flush with it then run tap for ten days too if you want.

How does flushing the res or medium flush anything out of the plant? I guess you all are growing toliets. Because it sure sounds like they have a handle to push down when the time is supposedly right.......

clearex? pffft.... I use all organics and its not even required to flush, however.. I still quit feeding my ladies a week before I plan to harvest. During that final week.. I'll give the plant a couple of quick flushes with bottled (aquafina) water every other day or so. I'm not worried about over-watering.. why? Because the plant is in its final week of its life.. that's why. The reason I still flush, even though I'm using organics.. is because of the fact that I live by the motto: 'Better safe than sorry.'

I would highly suggest any non-organic growers around here... to immediately switch to organics. The difference.. man, I honestly cannot sit here and even begin to describe the difference in the plants health, taste, smell... just everything is improved using all organics. Like I said, you don't have to worry about flushing when using all organics.. but like I said, I still do.. do a final week flushing with just water (no nutes the final 7 to 10 days of its life) - that way I won't be sorry.. I'll be safe. ;)

Just thought I would share that with everyone..

peace.

wat do u think will be better carboload or bud candy. carboload is all organic but the bud candy has a couple additions like fruit extract and things like that. no mollasas in the bud cany and as thick as the carboload is i would assume there was somein there/

i feel you that bud igniter and bud factor is ridiculus but no complaints here

well if you are 100 organic then flushing with enzymes is the way to go. i might have to disagree with u on the whole 100%organic thing. It does give you some delicious results. but imo synthetic and organic combo is the way to go. u get the best of both worlds. Quality and quantity
