Aeroponic/Top Feed Night time watering

At what interval is watering appropriate druring dark cycle or should I be watering at all? I have my top feed watering 60 sec every hour and my Aero watering 1min on 5 off. I have had issues with root rot, fungus, fungus gnats, nutrient lock, and my concern is that it is stemming from dark period watering. What should the schedule be. I'm using a 10ml pg w/ 27 gallon res and Botanicare Pro Bloom nutes, with liquid karm, sweet, cal-mag, and a 2drops of superthrive pg.

I haven't been feeding at all during the dark cycle, I'm running a mod'd low pressure aeroponic system that keeps only half an inch of water in the flowering container when it is off. I've been running 15 on 30 off and they seem to be doing well. Noticing alittle rust colored spots on the leaves but thought this might be from lack of mag/cal from using R.O. water. How much cal/mag do you add to your rez? THe bottle I have doesn't give an exact measurement for aero/hydro it states what the ppm should be like cal 180-200 pmm. So I was wondering if I could make it in a gallon of water to the correct ppm and then add it to the rez.

Perhaps we can help on another out. Got any pics of your setup?

I only use 7ml pg of cal-mag because I have a bad filter on my RO till the other one arrives. The tap water I have is close to 300ppm so I imagine the concentration is high, until I get the new filter then I will go back to 10ml pg. I have three separate res'. One is a waste res from my top feed, one is a recycled system with the aero and the third is a change out res. I fill the change out res with RO water amd adjust ph, then add nutes a few hours later. I do this every ten days for aero, and every third day for top feed. I also have a round air stones in both active res' to increase oxygen. I asked about night time watering because I'm getting hard leaves, yellowing and some root rot.
I'll try it, but I was concerned my plants would suffer from lack of moisture, so I hope you're right. No pics though sorry.
