i have about 1.5 months till flowering and 3 of them are about 6.5 to 7ft right now and growing...

1. How big will they be by the end of flowering? (don't they usually double in height?)
2. how to keep spider-mites and caterpillars away? (I had a few auto's that got murdered by them and lack of sunlight)
3. I have TOO much vines and thorns crowding around and looping around my plant, and its kinda hard to go about machete'ing them. Can i just leave them alone? my plants are allot higher then all the brush...

you should get rid of any vines and shit around the bed. for christ sake they could potentially strangle your plants! I feel like 2 or 3 hours in the garden is worth a bountiful harvest. plants will generally double in size once flowered indoors. The stretch may be different outdoors, but they will definitely get much bigger. maybe try tying the tops down to the ground if you can w/o breaking the stalk.

Machete the fUck out of those vines...insects will use them to gain access to various levels of your plant.
Your plant will get maybe 10 feet if you don't flower for another 1.5 months. sound like some skyscrapers you got. hah When you flower it will slow down growing for the most part but will then focus all of its energy on producing budSSS

I use Azamax - check it out. It's organic (botanical insecticide, miticide, and nematicide) everything you need. made by general hydroponics but can be use in any growing situation :]

I'm growing an auto too ... how big are yours?

Haha i guess its time to invest in a machete, hopefully my local stores carry one >,<
I have only been using a miracle grow nute powder thats heavy on the nitrogen side.
hmm, i will definitly look into Azamax
my autos were under my 6footers and got eaten by spider mites... i just slashed them, and brought it home.
and my indoor needed more rootspace, and didnt grow dank. plus i didnt give them nutes..

Good luck man ... remember ... "take care of your shit"

Nutrients are also "KEY" in quality of budz. Advanced nutrients has the best deal for the three part grow system. grow, micro, bloom for 42 bucks and each one is 1 liter. highly recommend it.

you're a fuckin moron... for one AN does not have te best deals, i got my 3 part for $20 out the door no tax. and i would never recommend AN to anyone. and second of all u can still harvest a lot of good bud without azamax, u might end up choppin some buds and chalkin em as a loss. but for catepillars ur gon want some BT spray like Safer Catepillar Killer, azamax dont do shit for them. i know because i use azamax.

Good point about the bugs. Here in MN I noticed that as of a week all the farmers started spraying insecticides/pesticides on their fields. Might be a good time to stary spraying if anyone hasn't . As far your 7 footers go I would be pleased. Have you cut the lower branches off yet? Let the 7 footer grow hahaha.

Do not use pesticeds, there is an organic solution for all your plants problems! By some need oil and make a water and need solution and spray the fan leave, the last thing you want to be doing is leave traces of pesticides and some those harmful chemicals later. Also try diatomaceous earth powder. I had Sn ant and aphid problem a couple years ago and this stuff is cheap and works great. Stay organic, dude.

thanks will look into it. Is it cheap?
i also make my own animal deterrent. which is a mix of my piss, cat shit, and a couple eggs in a huge container to sit near my plants. i also use fishing line, but im pretty sure that the mix deters them, really strong smell... LOL

I have used AN 3 part (grow, micro, bloom) for about a year straight along with other supplemental nutrients and it works great! AN 3 part is actually really cheap. I got a gallon of all three for about $80.00. Their sensi and connoisseur formulas are WAY too expensive and would not recommend. If i was gonna spend hundreds i would just go for house and garden... What 3 part formula are you using for $20.00?! Are you getting the smallest possible bottles??
