The Only Cabinet You'll Ever Need!

Hello everyone,
I have been growing for some time now and wanted to share my semi-homemade cabinet with everyone out there in cyber world. I have had great success with this design/ setup achieving better results with each grows. There is always room for improvement though... So I was wondering if y'all would be able to offer some constructive input into design/ best strains for this setup/ etc.
Cabinet specs:
Ikea cabinet to match the rest of bedroom furniture
Height 96”
Width 40”
Depth 23”
Air cooled 400w HPS for flowering (electronic ballast)
3 fans (2 blowing on the canopy and 1 under the canopy)
4 Air intakes w/ filters
T5 fluorescent fixture for veg area
2 Carbon filters (at exhaust) refill filter every few month with new pellets
Dual Dayton squirrel cage blower (for exhaust/ always on/ lubricate motor every two months) approx. 160cfm
4” axial fan (to cool HPS bulb) exhausting air outside
Mylar
Plastic lids (from storage containers, to catch soil run off)
PVC (connects T-joints together and placed under containers to allow for run off onto plastic lids)
Hanna waterproof PH & EC meter
Trellis (had to cut out because I needed to spray the plants in the tub)
Weather stripping and black duct tape to prevent light leakage
Nutes:
Bontanicare Pure Blend Pro line with botanicare/ organicare supplements (liquid karma, silica blast, humega, huvega, seaplex etc.)
Usually feed at full strength every other watering.
Recently started checking soil container runoff to monitor ph and ppm. Add lime when needed.
Last harvest I had 10oz of immaculate flowers (strain: bubblegum) this harvest I brought a NYCD and ChemDawg into the mix. 6 plants total
I want to start foliar feeding also!

The flowers are top shelf… but I need to get more in tune with my soil which I have recently been trying to do example finally taking its pH, not just the liquids I put on top of it.
Thanks for reading everyone! Your constructive/ experienced input is greatly appreciated!

by the way, i had ph probs with soil, added dolomite lime to soil mix, havent had ph problems again. I dont even ph the water now, just added it, the dolomite buffers it to 6.8-7.0

thanks for your responses and input. In total i spent around a thousand dollars for the entire setup. wasted some money experimenting and buying stuff that wasn't entirely necessary. I will post more pics of the plants as they mature. thanks again and keep the constructive input coming :)

I use to have a 250 hps sunburst light that was air cooled. but i decided to give the 400 hps air cooled light a run. the new light fixture is build better for air cooling/ flow so it actually runs the same if not cooler then my other 250w light. although it does give off more heat, i now have the ducting venting out of the window so heat build up in my bedroom is no longer an issue :) the spacing between the canopy of my old 250 and new 400 is pretty much the same due to increased airflow allows for it. he should totally do! more light=bigger buds if done properly. the results don't lie :)

I wouldn't know the exact figure. i was thinking about buying one of those meters that plugs into the outlet and calculates usage costs. I would guess/estimate that its no more then $50. whatever the cost, the investment is way cheaper then buying it. when you grow your own for yourself it is nice because you don't really equate it to actual spent money. $50 for 3.5g is a lot of money for a substance that can easily be produced if given then resources

I got the Cabinet from IKEA baby :D blends right in with the rest of my furniture. it is kind of on the large size... especially when you have a separate walk-in closet but whose business is that :D everyone one who uses/is able/ and has the resources should with out a doubt produce their own goodness

yeah exactly. i was figuring around 50 bucks im trying to get my own 400 setup but im trying to go through every such as cost per month (ill be in an apartment with paid usage bills so im going to have to figure something out) and figure out smell i herd carbon filters do the trick for the most part

I wouldn't imagine electricity usage would be that noticeable if you started as soon as you moved in. If your that concerned just run a 250... And if anyone has the nerve to question your usage you could give plenty of legit excuses like you leave all of your electronics/ mini fridge on all the time. :)

someone on another forum said to maybe add a co2 injection system but i'm not to sure how i could go about doing that while factoring in lights, temp, humidity and what not....

Thanks. I've got a buddy who says he can make one that will look like I bought it at a store but it's going to be built to my dimensions and with light-proofing and security in mine. If that falls through however, this looks like a nice option.

the black gorilla brand duct tape works really well for blocking light leakage between gaps/ cabinet doors. The most important part for me is that it blends in if my landlord ever needs access to the property. I would love to create a bigger space but that would potentially draw even more suspicion.
